Made a 2nd visit to "The Property" by Nova Destinations in Pulaski for an afternoon of munchies and drinks with the family. With four separate mini destinations, each with its own alcohol and food menu, The Property is has become one our family "must go" locations to get together. There was some off and on rain when we went but each location on The Property provided shelter until the clouds passed. Nothing stopped our little party and we had fun with the sprinkles. We also brought our fur baby Boo who was welcome at all buildings both indoors and outside with her leash. The staff was very friendly and kept us well served with food and delicious drinks. My favorites include Nova's blended sweet wine The Dragon, a Concord Red wine, and Skallywag Distilling's Limoncello. After roaming the various locations (shuttle is also provided if you desire) you can collect your own bottles of your favorites in the building at the exit. That way you aren't lugging your choices throughout the day. read more

First time visitors at Nova cellars. We already knew the distillery was closed on Sundays so we were already disappointed. When we arrived there was a big sign that said the winery was closed for a private party(Awwwww!). The only thing opened was the brewery. While they served wine it was a huge let down! Our group had beer, seltzer and wine and they were okay but not the best we've had. Ambience wasn't quite what we expected. The only positive was the live music. The singer did acoustic rock music and was very good! If you're going to check this place out it Sounds like the best days to go here is on Friday and Saturdays when everything is open. Maybe if I was a local I would come back for the live music but I certainly wouldn't drive an hour to come back here again. read more

I went to Nova with a bridal party a while back. We had a great time and the service was perfect, the only thing was that I didn't really enjoy the wines much. The beers inside upstairs were a bit better, but the peach cider had a strange taste to it. When we arrived the staff was very informative and friendly in helping us make our selections. Most of us went for wine flights. I'm a dry wine kind of girl, and I was disappointed at the sweetness of the wines. They left the same impression on the rest of the party. The cab was just too sweet to be a cab. My friend (the bride) ordered a cheese plate and was a little underwhelmed by the quality of the cheeses as they seemed to be pre-cut party platter cheese rather than quality cheese to be paired with the wines. Since it was hot we opted to head inside and go upstairs to cool down and have some beer. Personally I loved most of the ones I tried besides the peach cider. The bride ordered one and didn't like it either, unfortunately. The service was great and the scenery was beautiful here, I just wish I enjoyed my drinks more! read more

A great location and space, but the wines are a bit disappointing. I loved the small pond they have out back with chairs to sit outside and enjoy the view and fresh air, but it was too cold when we came that we had to sit inside. It was very smokey from the fireplace, causing them to need to open the doors and it became pretty cold. But I did enjoy the upstairs space and the live band playing music downstairs. It is a nice small location that's very relaxing. We ordered a flight of the house wines for about $8. I was surprised and disappointed the flights were little plastic cups with barely any wine in them. Didn't seem like enough for the money I spent. Most of the wines were artificial tasting, like grape juice unfortunately. The Gryphan was the only one that I enjoyed and wasn't overly sweet. I'd recommend coming here in the summer to enjoy the full atmosphere and order a glass of one of the other local wines or a beer upstairs. read more

Our This was our first winery visit along our route for the weekend in 2017. Too bad it was raining because the outside around the small lake is absolutely beautiful. The inside of the winery is quite beautiful and very nice. The lady explaining about the wines did a terrific job. She explained about the wines very well. She was accommodating. She said the owners are redoing the lake area. They are going to have available seats in the lake while you sip wine. How incredible. The wine was really good. I liked the Pinot Noir as my favorite. All of the dry whites were very good. Current Post Fast Forward 4 years. So much has changed with this place. They have really expanded since 4 years ago. They have created what I would call or they call Nova Destinations. When you arrive into the facility, the lights are very nice, 4 years ago, no lights. They have a tour guide and vehicle transportation via cart to the different locations. Winery is in the same location, Brew 32 is above, but now you can drive x amount feet away to visit the liquid fusion building, they have hard cider from Knocking Noggin, and a distillery that was recently opened up. The place is amazing and all I've ever wanted to do is come here during a nice day to drink outside. This was our 3rd visit to the area. As for the wine, we did a sample of the wine and I wasn't impressed with the wine. Maybe it was better previously, maybe this was just not a good batch. But it was so so.. read more

We stopped by on a Saturday night and the place was really quite full which took us off guard. We were able to get a seat outside though and enjoyed the live music. The wine was really good! Loved that there was an area upstairs to get beer as well. We didn't try any of the food but it did look good. The scenery is really nice, with lots of seating around the pond on the property. Had we sat further away from the building, we likely would have bought a bottle because it's a bit of a hike from the furthest table to where you Order your drink. There were options for both the beer and wine to order a sampler which we loved. Overall we had a great experience here! read more

Cool little spot. The top floor is a brewery and the bottom floor is a winery. We sampled the wines and while they were tasty they were all on the sweet side. My wife ultimately decided on one of their wine slushees. She loved it! I am more of a beer drinker so we decided to head upstairs. I tried their World Klaus Kolsch followed by their #32 Sweetness Stout. While they both were drinkable I didn't have that blown out of my socks feeling. Not bad by no means but not great. Right in the middle. Now where it gets good is their flat bread pizzas. WOW!!! I had the Tomato Basil. Very tasty! We will be back! read more

Very mixed feelings as I write this review. The atmosphere and service are great, but I didn't enjoy the wine. First off, the outside space is an amazing place to sit outside and enjoy your wine. They have picnic tables and lawn chairs appropriately spaced around a small lake. On Saturdays, they also have live music, which I hear can make the venue busy depending on who is playing. I went with two separate wine tastings. You get 4 tastings for $5. Very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, they were out of their cab and Pinot Grigio. They have the wine pre-poured in small shot containers. Not a great way to enjoy your tasting, but I understand due to COVID. Staff is helpful in making suggestions. My friend did enjoy the Pegasus wine. She got a bottle and was able to take it home since she couldn't finish it. If you are more of a dry wine person, this probably won't be your winery. Limited options and the ones they have don't have a great taste. One unique feature of this winery is there's a brewery upstairs. Guests are able to get wine and beer as they enjoy sitting outside. read more

The experience my wife and I had when visiting this winery was top notch from the opening of the door. We were immediately greeted with a smile by the owners and welcomed with a hug. The special for the night was 3 types of desert and 3 samples of wine all for $8. Everything was extremely good and the service was great, considering all of the tables were taken and the bar was full. We will be going back for more and bringing our friends. read more

It will probably seem like I am overly critical, but if you are into red wines, from any region, I can't see how you will have a good experience. Moreover, the food was so disappointing. The antipasto wasn't fresh, the bell pepper sausage flat bread had to be microwave pizza, and the $8.50 Chicago Dog was like a cookout dog for a stadium price. My first visit was very underwhelming. The staff was very friendly, but the food and the wine were absolutely horrible. The antipasto appetizer (very popular at wineries) had lunch meat turkey and pepperoni, sliced Colby jack cheese and ritz crackers. The margherita pizza had wayyyyy too much cheese and no fresh basil, but covered with dried basil seasoning! We ordered the Malbec wine and when we got to the bottom of the bottle, there was an absurd amount of sediment. When we made the staff aware of it, they said it was normal for all of their reds which is concerning to me. Overall, it was not a good experience. read more

Come here first! They've got a beautiful new location done in stone, barn timbers, and barrels, with floor to ceiling views of a big ole' swimming hole and dense woods. Their Elysium series of sweet wines are utterly delicious, especially the Niagara-based Pegasus and blush blend Phoenix. I'm going to stick to places closer to home where a Cabernet tastes like a Cabernet and you are offered a plate and a napkin without having to ask for one. The atmosphere of this winery has to be my favorite in the area. They have three 'lines' of wines with one being just fruit wines (love the mango). There are several different options for seating including couches in front of a fireplace. The place has garage doors that open for the warmer weather and a fire pit area next to the building. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and there is a popcorn machine to have a snack while drinking. They also have a small food menu with flatbreads/cheeses - I just wish it was closer to my house! read more

This place is great! They have a very unique set up and a TON of different wines for tasting. I went went with the sweeter wines which were all good. The fruit wines are a must try but some were a little too sweet even for me! The staff is very informative and fun, we really enjoyed our tasting. Everytime I come to Nova Cellars I have a great time. The atmosphere and people are exceptionally friendly and I make sure to tell everyone I know about it. Even if you're not a wine fan its worth visiting and enjoying an evening. If you are a moderate wine drinker to an enthusiast, there are tons of variaties for you to chose from. Personally, I like typical dry tuscan wines like Chianti but I found that Nova Cellar's Phoenix is my new favorite wine. They always have new and great food pairings each month too. You can come to Nova Cellars and enjoy several hours of fun and drink with some good people at a fun place.
