Wine tasting menu
Stacey P.

I visited Libations Winery with my elderly grandmother and my parents to partake in a wine tasting. I immediately was grateful because the lady who served us didn't even think twice and sat us at a normal table instead of the wine bar. This was great because my grandmother doesn't move well and hopping onto and off of bar stools is a bit of a trouble for her. We were provided laminated menus where we circled which wines we wanted to try. I opted for most of their fruit wine because they're not common where I currently live. I also opted for the Hot Mama because it sounded so different! And indeed it was! The Hot Mama had this sneaking heat to it that lingered in the back of the throat. It was fun!

We came to Libations Winery with family while traveling thru and enjoyed our visit. Although they were out of the salmon entree the cook recommended the scallops; and they were delicious. The stag was friendly and welcoming. The place definitely has ample room to accommodate large groups. They offer a variety of items on the menu with happy hour choices. Overall, it was a good place to relax with family and friends. Enjoy:)

The Caesar salad and Philly cheesesteak pizza were delicious. The slushy was also really good. The indoor space was big but we enjoyed food on the back patio which has wonderful views. The location is great with parking and space away from other stores. Our server was also very friendly. Would completely recommend going here.

This is just down the road from the Grove City outlet mall & next to Wendell August Forge. I think it used to be a very tiny winery in Volant. I sat at the bar and did not partake of the wine tasting, because most of the wines here are sweet or semi-sweet including the driest white, which was a Chardonnay. I am not a sweet wine fan, but it was drinkable. They also do wine slushees from machines & cocktails. They have a decent menu including woodfired pizza & my Caprese pizza was absolutely delicious. During warmer the weather the patio & outdoor area will be a big draw.

Just had an appetizer, but it was very yummy and filling. The ambience was low-key when we went but we were told that it does get a little bit more upbeat when the live music starts in the evenings. They also have large crowds on the weekends so heads up on that. There is plenty of room though with lots of tables and a couch/tv area and outside sitting galore. They also have a banquet/catered area that can be booked for special occasions. Service was amazing. The owner came out and explained the different wine options to us. He gave us a little history of his winemaking process and the variety that he has cooking up in the back and will be ready to serve soon. He was also very informative about local eateries recommending some very good ones. Can't wait to bring friends here!

This place is brand new and they're still fixing up the outside, so plan on a little dirt flying around if it'sreal windy. They plan to have a larger patio and stage for bands to come and play. I can't wait! Right now, they have a beautiful indoor area for their restaurant. They also have a full bar with wine, cocktails, and wine slushies. I spotted a small event space too. They have outdoor seating for both the restaurant area and a separate area with couches if you just want to grab a drink and sit outside. The property is fairly large, so I'm excited to see what it looks like when they're finished. I had the blackberry smash cocktail to start. It has their blackberry wine, blackberry brandy, and Big Spring's whiskey. It was garnished with a couple blackberries and a sprig of thyme. It was perfect for a sunny afternoon! Not too sweet and very refreshing. After, we ordered a bottle of their cab sauv. It was light, typical of Pennsylvania wine, and tasted great out in the sun. For food, I tried the burger and pizza. The burger surprised me and had a lot of flavor. I asked for it medium and it was definitely closer to a medium well. My husband asked for a medium rare and got medium. Either way, the burgers were good! They have an outdoor wood fired pizza oven. The pizza was cooked well and tasted great. We just got a cheese pizza because I got out voted at my table - next time I'm trying the pepperoni! We saw a sign on the side of the road and decided to give it a try without really knowing anything about it. I'm glad we did! We'll definitely be back again. Hopefully next time we'll get to hear some live music!

Nice winery/restaurant close to the Grove City Outlets. They offer a good selection of wines that are made right there. A flight of 5 one ounce tastes is just four dollars, and provides an opportunity to sample some of their wines before purchasing a bottle. We did just that and found a wine that we both enjoyed. Since we arrived after a full day of shopping, we decided to have dinner here. We both ordered the shaved rib-eye steak sandwich with fries, and we both enjoyed our meals. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We stopped in for a drink and an appetizer. Very nice looking place. Food was great. Good beer. Wine is OK...

After visiting Libations Winery twice and enjoying the food, service and atmospher, I invited a friend to join me for Sunday brunch. We followed their event page on Facebook a confirmed we would be attending. With the menu posted online we knew our order before we got there. I planned on having the Chicken and waffles and my friend planned on having the sausage gray and biscuits which was advertised. My friend had never been there before and my husband and I had told her how great the place was. I was able to order the chicken and biscuits but my friend was unfortunately told that the sausage gravy and biscuits was not ready. Their brunch was only available from 12-3. We drove an hour to get there and was there promptly at the opening at noon. My friend order off the regular menu since her original request was not available. To say that we were disappointed would be a bit of an understatement when it came to the menu availability. Our server Angie was kind, attentive and always addressing our concerns. She truly made the experience a one. She was very apologetic for the inability to sausage gravy and biscuits and we understood it was not her fault. I just feel like if it's an offer that's posted on their website with the statement that the menu changes weekly that it should've been available yesterday

Burnt cheese pizza. Waitress told us if it was remade it would be burnt again.

Half of the menu was "out," waitress seemed bothered when we asked for drink refills, pizza was burnt and inedible. Could've sold more alcohol if you would've just come by and ask!

Volant Red

My favorite winery in Grove City area! The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, but also classy. They have a great wide selection of wine, a list of 8 to 10 options for each sweet, dry, and fruit based. Something for everyone's taste, as well as some unique and new wine flavors I've never had. We did a tasting of 5 wines, which was only $10. One of the most surprising wines was their cocoa wine, it tasted exactly like a cherry tootsie pop. It's completely naturally flavored with grapes and cocoa, making it a soft sweet flavor and strong aroma. My favorite wine was the Volant Red, made with semi sweet concord grapes. It was slightly sweet, bold in flavor and a smooth finish. We ended up ordering a full bottle of it, since it was about the price of 2 glasses of wine and most cost effective. The staff was great with providing recommendations and explaining the flavors of their house wines, while also providing us enough space to choose what was best for our tastes and just enjoy our time relaxing and talking. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in the area!

However, housekeeping is inconsistent and management appears weak. Issues: * Cleaning: Room service during my extended stay was sporadic--towels and trash were often not changed unless I requested it. A trash can by the third‑floor elevator stayed overflowing for days until reported, then filled again. * Laundry room: Overflowing trash, lint traps not cleaned, dirty machine tops, and unswept floors. * Public areas: Hallways had bits of trash; coffee station had spills, drips, and loose grounds during busy times. * Room amenities: No TV channel guide; TV is not a Smart TV (no Prime/YouTube). * Fitness room: Equipment works but smallest free weight is 10 lb (no 3-5 lb options). Filtered water is a plus. Overall: Friendly staff but housekeeping and upkeep need significant improvement. Need new leadership in there. A cleaner hotel is a higher quality hotel.

It's way out there, if you're not from the area & your GPS will take you on a scenic winding road, country detour which is OK in daylight but a nightmare in the pitch dark on the way home. This review is based solely on the clubhouse bar/restaurant, not on the golf course itself. The building is non-descript on the outside, but fairly nice inside with a large bar, dining area, middle room with pool table & back banquet room that looks like a regular basic wedding reception room (essentially what I imagine it's used for)...which is where the band played. There is no actual stage. It was quite busy on a Friday night and the two bartenders were slightly overwhelmed and doing their best to take care of the customers. They actually have a pretty big menu with lots of choices, and I had the fish and chips which was good-a very large piece of fried fish. The Miller Lite on draft was cheap at three dollars a pint. The band had a decent crowd in the back room, mostly older folks, so it was a little strange like playing to an old people's wedding reception, but it worked out & was fun. They look like they have a nice patio attached to the restaurant that overlooks the golf course that will be nice once the weather warms up. If my friends play here again I would stop by but not living in the area doubtful that I will be back until then. Having said that if you live in the area definitely worth a looksee and looks like a decent place to eat or sit at the bar. They have a one of the largest screen TV's I've seen in a bar. The bartenders were friendly despite how busy they were.

We decided to take the kids to visit and we had the best time! If you decide to go for a one-off visit it's a bit pricey at $25/person, so if you live close by (we don't) it could be worth it to get a season pass. This is not your average farm -- it has everything from food stands, tractor rides, playgrounds, sandboxes, and more! It's more like a farm / carnival / Idlewild light combo. We enjoyed trying some food from a few different spots and was delighted to find that they did offer hard cider for adults. The way that the farm is set up it really does cater to parents with kids -- allowing for the adults to sit back and have a conversation while the kids go nuts on the corn beach. Corn beach you ask? No, really, it's super fun and everything sensory. They even go as far to have an abundance of porta potties and hand washing stations. With 2 little kids I was never worried about getting them to the bathroom in time. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the lack of pumpkin patch -- unless I missed it! In the summer they feature a sunflower festival and the fall is the fall festival and I can't wait to go pick some sunflowers.] Will I be back? Absolutely!

Not to mention the presentation, the tiered serving trays? The different pieces of vintage china settings? The crystal goblets? Omg, take me back to the days of dreaming of having a tea party like this! My inner child is jumping up and down! This venue is small, but the perfect size for a more intimate gathering, my party was 22 people and we fit just fine. The waitress was adept at explaining the tea flavors and describing what was on the serving trays as they were set down, and the owner, Sherry, was a joy to work with. Her friendly and professional demeanor helped assuage the stress of throwing an event, and her contracts were well drafted and easily understood.
