Came here on a Saturday night to it being some what empty. Out of no where a flood of people came to eat so definitely had high expectations. We ordered the monster pizza which is just a supreme pizza and some bbq wings. We received them within 15 mins of ordering which wasn't long considering the full house. We enjoyed both the pizza and wings, pizza's crust was also a treat (I'm not a big crust fan) great experience over all. read more

I've been a loyal customer for years and this used to be one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Tucson--but after tonight's experience, I'm honestly shocked and disappointed. I placed a mobile order and arrived to pick it up, only to find that our cheese bread had half the cheese missing. When I politely pointed this out, the employee said, "I've been working here for 12 years and that looks good to me," and then walked away. No apology, no offer to fix it, nothing. I then asked another employee for his name, and she smirked and said, "You can ask him." At that point, I went to the counter and requested a refund. I was told their systems were down and it would take a couple of days, but that I'd be refunded. I sincerely hope that happens, but even more than the messed-up food, it was the rude and dismissive way I was treated that left me flustered and upset. It's incredibly disappointing to be treated like an inconvenience instead of a valued customer. I won't be returning. read more

This is a fast food type of restaurant where you order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. It's open seating and has both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice. The service is VERY SLOW. We ordered 2 burgers and it took about 35 minutes to get our food. When we inquired about the delays, we were told that it's just the process based on what you order. Guests before us waited longer than we did for cheesesteaks. Guests after us got their pizza right away. Quality of the food was good! Ordered a burger and substituted a veggie patty. Got fries on the side and they were warm and fresh. We also ordered the chicken sandwich that was good as well. Tried to get tater tots as an upgraded side but we were told the only upgraded side option is fries, which is weird. That was a little annoying since you can pay extra for fries but can't pay extra for tater tots even though they have tots on their menu. The staff wasn't even willing to ask the kitchen if getting a side of tots would be an option. They have a large selection of beers on tap. Overall, due to service and wait time, I'm not sure I would return to this location for a dine-in experience. The quality of the food was good but doesn't offset the overall experience. read more

Good lunch spot. Good meaty sandwich. The meat was a bit salty, but it was well constructed and presented. A bottle of root beer, the sandwich, and a bag of chips set me back a little over $17. It is not cheap to eat out anymore! But I felt like I got a good value for my money. The service was quick and friendly, the ambiance is nice. A minimalist, industrial vibe. They have a great beer selection, wish I didn't have to go back to work! read more

Food is hot and fresh!! I didn't know what to expect from this place but it's a good sandwich & craft brew type of spot. It's got a really cool serial killer, horror movie them going on... but like, in an inviting way haha. Yes, chase me with a knife, it's cool, but as long as I have one of these Sammie's in my mouth at the same time. Service is quick and very friendly. Try the Pennywise! And their salads! Oh their salads are such a great portion size and delicious! This place is just my cup of tea. Love, and death. read more

Chicken Sandwich + Side of Fries and a drink = $26.56!!! I should have second guessed my decision coming here. When I walked in it was dead, I was the only one in the restaurant. Walk up counter to order your food / fast food style. Was prompted for a tip? ... so another 15% on top of my order. You're essentially tipping a delivery fee for someone to walk your food to your table from the kitchen. Staff never checked back in, you fill your own drinks, you bus your own table, etc. it's a fast food setup, but the owners want you to supplement the wages of the staff. Food came out 20min later and it was ok, nothing to write home about. I would say the food is not worth the price. I could have gotten a steak dinner with all the fixings for that amount of $$$. Also not sure why it's allowed but the kitchen was blasting music which was louder than the music in the dining area. Ended up with Kenny Loggins competing with a mariachi band. It was sensory overload. Not an enjoyable environment. Couldn't even hear myself think. Prob. won't be coming back unfortunately. They used to be really good, has gone down hill for sure. read more

Walked into a very clean restaurant, very open, nicely lit, cool decorations, and a "welcome in folks" greeting from the staff. The food came out very quickly and looked as good as it tasted. We came for lunch and it was difficult to abstain from one of the 25 beers they have on tap. We will be back to have a beer and a pizza! Next time, we might just split a pizza, their small pizza is fairly large and we weren't able to eat all of our food this time around. We will be back soon! read more

We have family in town for the holidays and decided to meet for lunch near where we were going shopping after lunch. A quick Google search showed a Serial Grillers in the area, so we met there to eat. We all ordered different food and we all left satisfied. I had a Jack of All Trades burger, which was delicious! My daughter had a Red Dragon calzone and my husband Hannibal cheese steak. My son and daughter-in-law got sandwiches too. Everything was tasty and we loved the dining room. The pizza was really bad. This pizza tasted like shit and there were no toppings. Maybe 6 slices of pepperoni on a pepperoni pizza. a small 12-inch chicken pizza had chicken cut up so fine you could not see or taste it. This place over charges and I give it a MINUS 5 in rating. Worst pizza I ever eaten. I've been in a lot of states and eaten at a lot of pizza parlors. This one is by far the worst, If I would have had my phone with me I would of took a picture and posted it. read more

I gave this place three chances and all three let me down. Which is a real bummer as I live in the neighborhood right behind it. I ordered pickup, and half my items were missing. They blamed it on they were almost closing. It was an hour until close. The second time, we ordered for pickup waited the 45 minutes. Went in, they couldn't find the order so we still had to wait for the food. Today, we ordered two cheesesteaks for dine in around noon. Us and two other tables in the whole place. Took almost 35 minutes to get our food. The two cheesesteaks were peppers with some meat instead of the other way around. Also, the tea/lemonade machine was broken. Potato salad is great but not enough to bring me back. I'm all outta hope for this place. Especially with an even better cheesesteak place five minutes away read more

Very bad first impression. Young lady, Faviana, at counter with a bad Attitude. Almost left before ordering. Food was nothing to get excited about. Surrounding businesses very busy when we visited but we were the only people in here! Probably due to lackluster institutional quality food and Unfriendly staff. Ordered Mini 8 in Red Dragon pizza, quarter lb Leather Face burger and side of fries came to $21.36 w/o drinks. Neighboring ARBYS has similar food at a better price w no attitude. QT C store across the street has better made to order pizzas than this, cold beer available also. Tap beer was not cold. First time I've ever left a tap house w/o refilled Growler. 16oz Blond Ale $5.00. NO Happy Hour according to unfriendly counter help!? Will not return. read more

this place is a hidden gem. you walk up and order your food and then are given a number to bring to your table. we ordered burgers and a side of fries. the food was delicious. everything about this place is clever. all of the items on the menu are themed in the name to different horror movie characters. there is a lot of beers from local breweries. The service was fast and friendly. there was ample seating inside and outside. the only thing we did not like is that the burgers don't come with fries. they come with either chips, coleslaw or carrots. so we had to order a side of fries. if you want something affordable and quick but tasting amazing this is a place to go. read more

I really wanted to like this place but it's just not that good. The prices are pretty high, the wait for food is really long, the tables were dirty and after the long wait, my burger was almost room temperature. Food was ok but not worth the wait Placed my order for a custom burger and fries. Took the restaurant 30 minutes to get my order out. I chose to do the custom burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onion pickles and cilantro mayo (I had asked for chipotle mayo, but the cashier rang up cilantro instead). The burger was ok. I had to add ketchup, as I felt it was pretty dry. The mayo was disappointing. There was hardly any on it and it did not add much flavor to the burger. Regular mayo is free while their flavored mayo is a 50¢ up charge. I did like the pickle slices they used. I chose their Cole slaw as my side for the meal. I enjoyed the slaw. I also had an order of their fries. They were good, but way too many for a single order. I wish that they did half orders or allowed substitutions to the current side offerings (baby carrots, Cole slaw, potato salad or a tiny bag of Lay's potato chips). Would be nice to be able to substitute a half order of fries for any of the other sides (maybe a two dollar up charge to replace a side). read more

This was my 4th time here and every time it's been a 1 star experience. I wanted to like this place that's why I kept coming, the environment is nice and modern. But if ur looking for good food this place is NOT it! Prices are on the higher side and that's fine if the food is worth it. $13 for a burger not bad, but to get fries with it, it's not an option so u have to order a full size order of fries for $8 so $21 for a burger and fries. That's pricy but fine if it's really good. Every time food has just been ok. This last experience the bun was soggy and the fries were so hot. So I'm assuming they made the burger realized they didn't have fries so let's the burger sit for a while while the fries cook and it ruined the burger.. If your going the charger prices like that at least know how to make good quality food. read more

When I moved to Tucson, one of my first priorities was to find a good pizza place. It's been a few years of trying delicious (and not so delicious) pizzas, and I have to say that Serial Grillers is my favorite. The food is always amazing here. With the killer idea of naming their items with unique names it's just always good stuff no matter what you get. Personally the bone collector is my favorite and they also sell it by the slice if you can't eat a whole pizza by yourself tater tots are my favorite more then fries and they do them the best well seasoned with salt and crispy! Wings are some of the best they have good quality and aren't fatty. They have great amount of meat and aren't over burnt or super crispy and well sauced. I think these are some of the best wings you can find on the northwest side. The reason why it's marked off one star is the service. We ordered through the online website which is super easy to use and no hard at all. We came during the time of pick up and we had to wait an additional 25mins. What made it worse was that people who walked in got their ordered before us and there was only one table who had their food already. The reason we know there order was not complex and not a Simply order to go is the cashier gave them updates about their order but not ours. Foods amazing but service was lacking. read more

There is a reason they make you pay before you get any service. The giant overhead fans they have running is to ensure that your lukewarm food stays that way. It's very hard to find a clean table, more employees would probably help in this situation. read more

I've always liked Serial Grillers' pizza. Their cheesesteaks are alright, too much bread and not enough of the good stuff. I hadn't been to this location but got lunch to go a couple times since COVID started. I ordered a mini Bone Collector and added bleu cheese crumbles. So good! It's also pretty affordable and always nice and hot. I brought my husband to dine in, and he got a burger and wings. I tried some of his habenero bbq, and they were really good. Not too spicy, just a bit of kick. I thought his potato salad was decent but not the best. I wish this location would offer onion rings as a side, because I've had them at the Speedway location, and they're great. Staff members are helpful and friendly. I feel pretty safe eating here. They have hand sanitizer at the door, stickers on the floor for spacing, and all staff wear masks. Dining in, the tables were spaced appropriately, and there were only a handful of other patrons. I didn't check out the beer menu this time, but I know the other locations usually have great offerings. read more

Girlfriend wanted a burger and usually don't eat-out for the specific reasons I'm going to mention. I ordered three burgers and only upon arriving at home, saw that there were only two. Checked the receipt and was only charged for two, which was a relief. Anyway, unwrapped both burgers and the lettuce was DISGUSTING! Thankfully, I saw this before biting into the burger, or else I would've thrown-up. Girlfriend couldn't eat hers either and just ended-up throwing them away. The potato salad was good, but that's about it. Guess I was there at a slow time and they wanted to dump bad food on me. Can't get the picture of this lettuce out of my head. read more

There is something seriously wrong with the Cortaro location. Every time we have eaten here since it opened, whether just our family of 4 or with our in laws or friends, the wait for the food has always been exorbitant. However, we do enjoy the food and have never complained. But on Wednesday, July 19th, my husband and two daughters went there for dinner. We ordered at 6:10PM and still didn't have our food at 6:45PM. People who ordered after us started getting their food. We didn't order anything crazy...salad, two plain cheeseburgers, fries and a cheesesteak with NO SPICY peppers. I had to go up to the counter and ask the young kid what was going on. He got flustered and said he was going to go to the back and help them make our food but he left people in line. Within a handful of minutes, he brought our food out. The food itself was good. Except when I started to eat my cheesesteak, I thought it had a little kick. By the time I finished half, my entire mouth, throat and face were on fire. My husband looked in the other half of my sandwich and there were straight up jalapeños WITH SEEDS mixed in with the peppers. He ate one to see if I was being a baby and he immediate started coughing. They were extremely spicy. That was the last straw for me. I went up to the same kid and asked him to send the manager out. He came out annoyed and stood behind the bar and glared at me. I told him he needed to come out from around the bar and come talk to me at the high top table I was standing at. He was visibly pissed and annoyed. When I explained the situation, he rudely asked if I wanted a refund or what. I said yes. He stomped back around the counter and tapped at the tablet and went back to the kitchen without coming back to our table. As everyone else finished our meal, I was unsure if the refund happened or if he was going to apologize for the horrible service or mistake with my sandwich. Nothing happened. As we were leaving, I went back up to the counter to ask the kid if the refund happened. He said he would do it and tapped on the tablet for a minute. When he couldn't get it to work, he went back to get the manager and he stormed out of the kitchen and told me "I already gave you a refund, lady." I will say that was the wrong thing to tell me. When I told him his customer service was appalling, he said I was rude to him about coming around the counter and he shut down. He also had the nerve to tell me he had a really bad day. Keep in mind he never once apologized or attempted any de-escalation of the situation. We exchanged some loud words. If a restaurant's kitchen is backed up and people are waiting 40 minutes to get food, a good manager is aware and attempts to mitigate things by coming out and checking with customers, offering an appetizer or SOMETHING. This guy did nothing and inflamed the situation by being hostile and nasty to me when I called him out for his BS. After I marched out, I called the River location to ask to speak or the owners or have them call me back. The River manager listened to this whole story, apologized, took my name and number and said the owners would call me within 24 hours. They never did. So needless to say, customer service is clearly not a high priority for Serial Grillers. While the food is good when you actually get it, the extreme wait times and substandard service mean we and our entire family and friends will no longer be dining here. I especially will be going out of my way to warn anyone and everyone about eating at the Cortaro location. read more

Just like the original location, this place has delicious food. The cheesesteak had great flavor and nice soft bread. We couldn't figure out the price of the pizza. $6.75 for an 8 inch, $16.50 for a 12 inch (almost $10 more for 4 more inches??). We ended up ordering 2 8 inch pizzas, cheaper and more food than a 12 inch. You can't go wrong with the bone collector. The pizza is a little bit thicker crust, and really really good. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon. We will definitely be back. read more
