My girlfriend and I,(visiting from the bay area) were walking around looking for a spot to catch game 4 of Warriors and Cavs finals and came across this gem! They just opened this past January.
Right at the entrance we were wonderfully greeted by Angel and Ariana. We both were in our yoga pants and t-shirts(had we known we would have dressed up a little nicer lol) yet they were super accommodating and made sure we got the best view of the TV in the patio area so we could freely root for our beloved Warriors!
Atmosphere: welcoming, cute, romantic...we loved it!
Service: many thumbs up! Our server Andres was nice and attentive, when we had questions he couldn't answer about the food, he went and brought out Chef Leonardo, who graciously answered our questions.
Food:
-vegetable soup was simple and so comforting and tast perfect to my tast buds, I ate every drop of it. I can taste the freshness of all the vegetables
-salmon and grilled veggies were cooked to perfection. The flavor of butter/lemon, texture, and freshness was superb, probably one of the best salmon dishes I've ever had. Simple and delish.
-instead of dessert I ordered fresh squeezed orange juice, making sure they didn't add sugar. It was so refreshing and fresh indeed
-my gf ordered the filet steak with veggies, the meat was so frkn tender! It also came with a side salad so she got Mediterranean.
-she also ordered a margarita, which our server brought out the tequila so she could have a little tast before confirming the order. I didn't have any but it smelled wonderful and my girlfriend said it was light and good.
-she also ordered the grilled banana dessert that soaked in some kind of liquor and fruit marmalade with vanilla ice cream,I just had a little tast of the banana and thought it was just ok. My girlfriend killed it.
Price: we split the bill and including tip, it came out to $25 per person. Coming from California that is a sweet deal for this type of dining(I would consider it 2-3 dollar sign dining).
We even tipped the host Angel as he was kind enough to come check on us as well and doing lots of translating. He said he is working on translating the menu into English, yay!
(Sorry Ariana, we would've tipped you too but you had left already)
The owner, Aaron, happened to be there and came to greet us. Super nice guy and we wish all the best for such a wonderful restaurant!
Overall it was a fun and satisfying experience, and the Warriorors WON!!!
We will surely be back on our next visit! :) read more
