I went for a manicure pedicure for a wedding it seems they gave me a rookie. My nails looked horrible the next day and I was there for 2 1/2 hours for a regular mani pedi. You tell me what you see. read more

Serenity Nails & Spa - My French white manicure is orange colored not white. It turned orange overnight. - Nail Salons Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

My wife and 6 year old showed up at 5:15 this afternoon for simple Pedi/Mani. This was my daughter's first time having this done and you made them sit there and then they were told you didn't have enough time when you close at 7pm? When my wife offered to JUST have my daughter have hers done, you still declined. Is this how you treat customers? Inexcusable behavior when there's 40 other places to go. read more

Nice atmosphere, standard pricing. Hot towels could've been a bit warmer. Busy place. Recommend aa appointment.

Lovely place always very clean and the workers there are so nice! Great people to talk to and they do a great job with nails.

Excellent service always very friendly and skilled. I go regularly for manicures and pedicures, and am very happy with the results. They always want to make sure you are happy and it shows. Make an appt as times they get very busy. Happy customer! read more

This salon is very clean but their vent system not working properly and even with front door cracked, the chemical smell is awful. Also the top they use was smelling so strong on my nail for 2 days, not sure what they use. $20 for regular manicure not even a real scrub/massage at that price. Not impressed. read more

Tina did an amazing job! Absolutely love how my nails turned out! And they are the best-priced. I drive from Tuttle and 17th area just to go to them read more

I just moved here , found serenity nail salon, they took me as a walk in. I had tips and powder done, it lasted almost 3 weeks, never have I had such success with tips and powder, they looked beautiful, I have found my new nail salon. read more

I was very hesitant to go to this nail spa due to all the bad reviews. I have to say that I was as very happy with their service and price. I had a dip Manicure and the price here was about $5-10 dollars less than other places I've been to. I will definitely be going back here to get my nails done in the future. read more

I've been here twice for a pedicure and they did a good job. The reason that I'm writing this review is for the eyebrow service. My eyebrows were driving me crazy! After Tina was finished, my brows looked better than ever. If you are frustrated with your brows, this is the place to go! read more

I've been here 3 times and all 3 times that have messed mine and my friends up, they made my friends nails bleed. After 3 days of getting white pollish my nails turned yellow.. I got ombré nails and it looked like complete junk.! I went back back to try to get it fixed they said no and they wouldn't give me my money back, I do not recommend ever coming here read more

I mistakenly went to Serenity nails yesterday to get a full set of white tip acrylics. The man doing the service explained to me that he wasn't using acrylic but instead was using a "gel powder" that is "better for your nails" and "lighter". I told him that I'd never heard of gel powder and he acted surprised and said that this product has been around since the late 80's early 90's. What he didn't know about me is that I was a licensed nail tech during the early 90's onward. While I'm no longer practicing the trade, I thought maybe I just didn't know about this "gel powder". So ignoring my gut, I stayed and allowed him to continue the service. He proceeded to apply the product (what I now suspect to be the non FDA approved MMA acrylic product) to my nails. When the product hardened, he used his dirty long thumb nail to pry the sloppily applied acrylic from between my nail and skin. Was repulsive. There are orange wood sticks for that!! I'm absolutely embarrassed to admit that as a former nail tech, I sat there saying nothing. Stunned and tongue tied. Looking back, I should have run straight for the door. After reflecting on this experience, I decided to write this chilling review and call the state board of cosmetology and report this salon in the hopes that an inspector will visit the location. I have no idea if the nail files (manual or drill bits) had been sanitized, if he had even washed his hands prior to the service, if the manicure table had been properly cleaned, if the workers are even licensed or if he used an illegal product on my hands. What I do know now however is that this man lied to my face about the product "gel powder" of which there is no such thing. Please please please, if you are going to spend the time and money on getting your nails done, don't go to Serenity Nails or any other salon that can't or won't show you the brand of product they are using. It could be dangerous. Do a quick search on MMA nails if this isn't something you are familiar with and educate yourself. I'm a licensed nail tech and even I found myself in this situation. Pretty humbling. Ouch. read more

The service I got was reasonable. The people were nice. I've had better manacures, but it wasn't as bad as some of the photos I've seen of their customers. The problem came when I attempted to use a gift certificate. It was old and they denied it. Here's the thing, it's not a coupon, someone gave them their hard earned money with the promise that they would in turn give a service and they refused. DO NOT buy your loved ones gift certificates here and give them the opportunity to steal your money. read more

I have been going to Serenity nails every 2 weeks for well over a year. I am very happy with the quality of service. I have had Gel Manicures, acrylic nails, pedicures and waxing all 5 star. The salon is attractively decorated with no loud televisions blaring. When I go to a salon I want to be pampered and part of that is to feel like I have stepped into an oasis of calm. This is exactly how I feel at Serenity Nails. I have recommended the salon to all of my family and friends and now recommend it to Yelp followers as well. read more

I have had 3 bad experiences! I don't like to make snap judgments. First I saw a woman who cut my toe nail so short it made the nail grow into the skin and was very painful. That woman was let go I learned when I went back several months later. Then I saw a young guy. He grumpled to my face about my tip and hugged me putting his hand close to my rear. No one did anything about it. I stayed away until last night when I was juggling too many things and wanted my nails taken care of real quick before grabbing chinese for my family. The OWNER of the place filed my nails down to the point where I have no white left on my left hand and hardly any left on my right hand. My nails were past my finger tips when I went in! I told him I didn't want them short. He didn't listen and didn't care. I learned that the young guy was let go and the owner went on and on about how unhappy he was with the guy and then made me repeat verbally to his wife what happened with the young guy. I was extremely uncomfortable. The owner just said "sorry" and had me pay so I could leave. Bad business sense. Bad hiring skills. Bad nail technique. The only thing good about this place is the way it looks and location to my house. Very unhappy! read more
