My nails were horribly ruined by a product from another salon. I had tried 4 different salons in my four years here in Sarasota and feel like I finally found "home" at Nailology. "Merari" was attentive, gentle and very careful with what was left of my nails and cuticles. My nails were ripped, painful, short and ugly. She took her time and gave me a beautiful set of tips with acrylic in the exact shape I wanted. She also spoke beautiful English and has a lovely authentic personality, so the experience was really fulfilling on so many levels. Super quiet yet very relaxing nail salon. Lisa has done my nail quite a few times now and does a fantastic job every time. Im extremely picky with how my acrylic looks and she takes her time and is very detailed oriented. I have never been able to keep nails on for more than 3 weeks without one falling off and I've never experienced a break or a chip yet. They are also very reasonably priced. read more

New management- don't be upset with them! Lam and Mai sold the business without telling their loyal customer base. I feel badly for the new owners who are bearing the brunt of that decision. Give them a chance! I've been there twice since the change of hands at the beginning of November. The salon is very clean and tidy! Paul did my acrylic fill both times with a French manicure. The owners Venus and Paul were incredibly accommodating were able to answer all the questions my friend and I had. We both had an Extraordinary experience. We just moved out here a couple of months ago and found this gem. I don't usually post reviews unless they are really good or really bad. Honestly, this is the best nail salon I have been to. The owners and staff are amazing. They are all kind, considerate, friendly and do a fantastic job! I think every staff member offered me something to drink and made sure I was comfortable. The pedicure massage was bar none! This salon is clean, chairs comfy and everything was decorated beautifully. The music is calming- as it should be when you are going to relax. I had an appointment on a busy Saturday but both staff and other clients were so friendly. I waited a bit but was never ignored. The salon was clean and well organized. I. Am. So. HAPPY! I am so particular and was looking for my nail place and person. I wanted someone who cared and was a perfectionist. I was anxious because I expect a lot and made an appointment blind. I selected this place based on the review and pictures but that didn't ensure a great experience and perfect nails. Lum, the manager/owner, did my nails and I just sat back and let him do his magic. He was phenomenal!!! I haven't ever ever been as happy in my life of nails like I was today. He paid attention to every single detail that I see via pictures and friends they overlook. Completely normal thickness, clean cuticles, CLEAN UNDERNEATH, perfectly measured for length against each nail. It was such precision I NEVER had to do anything other than let him work. This was my first time here. This place is more the run-of-the-mill nail place inside. It was VERY dusty with lots of clutter on all the counters and shelves. Kinda made me think if they don't care to clean it in this basic way, a pedicure here might not be a great idea. It also smelled terrible (once the owner arrived, he said sometimes they have sewer smells) and it was FREEZING. The technician cut me while filing my nails, the color was completely wrong- not at all what the book showed (which the owner noticed when he took over after an hour and offered to paint over it), and overall, the final product is okay but just not as good as what I'm used to where I moved from. I may return if I don't find a better place, but I'll request the owner instead of Kim. Also- it took 90 minutes. I've never had a dip take that long. read more
