Valentine's Nail Salon was absolutely fantastic! I was visiting from out of town and staying in Siesta when I realized I needed a dip powder manicure and pedicure. They were able to fit me in for an appointment right away, and from the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming, friendly, and professional. My nails turned out absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with the results. What impressed me even more was their exceptional customer service. My daughter had an appointment too but wasn't feeling well, and since we were leaving early the next morning, I explained our situation. They went above and beyond by opening an hour early to accommodate her appointment. That level of kindness and flexibility is rare and truly appreciated. I had been going to the same nail technician for almost 10 years. I tried a few others in town and was not satisfied, and then a friend suggested Valentine's. As soon as I walked in, I knew I was going to like it. This was probably the cleanest salon I have ever seen! My technician was incredible. She took the time to correct some issues the last nail tech did. She then listened to what I liked and what my expectations were. I am so happy, my nails are perfect! I don't normally have pedicures, but I was so pleased with my nails. I went ahead and did that too. And to top it off, it was $10 less than what I usually pay. Just wonderful! read more

Today, my daughter and I had such a wonderful experience at Valentine's. We both enjoyed gel manicures that ended with a relaxing hand massage and warm towels, and my daughter also enjoyed a basic pedicure that seemed like the top upgrade for a pedicure with long, soothing leg massages and hot towels --such a great value at $35. This was my second manicure at Valentine's, and it was just as amazing as the first. The employees are incredibly inviting, kind, and work seamlessly as a team to make every customer feel welcomed and like a top priority. The salon itself is spotless, beautifully organized, and has an impressive selection of polish colors that are easy to browse. Came here for the first time and had a nice experience! The salon is really clean and nice and spacious. I love the sink area in the back too. I came here for a gel manicure (I made an appointment ahead of time and didn't have to wait). Cindy helped me choose my nail color, which was a really nice bridal white (what I was going for) and removed my existing gel nail polish. It honestly was a little painful with the electric filer but bearable. Then Travis took over to remove the rest of my remaining polish and we had a pleasant conversation. Cindy took over again for the actual polish application and did a nice job (see photo)! The total came out to $33 pre-tip which I thought was very reasonable. I would return! read more

First time and great experience. I called to see if they had availability and Cindy said sure come over. Convenient location on Tamiami in the Cedar Cove plaza next to Culver's, with plenty of parking. This salon is modern and spotlessly clean. Great selection of products and colors. Not knowing who I would get, I was pleasantly surprised to find a nail technician with experience and skill. Add polite and gentle as she efficiently started my pedicure. Lisa, whose Vietnamese name is Dung, pronounced Ung, is talented, speaks clearly and took one look at my Pinterest picture and quickly found the correct colors to match my chosen nail design. An absolutely relaxing experience with very reasonable prices. The pedicure chairs massages was soothing and enjoyable. I highly recommend this salon and will definitely be back in a couple weeks. read more

Snowbird here who tried a few nail salons but wasn't satisfied until I found Valentine's. I've gone to the same nail salon in Boston for 25 years, so I was a bit apprehensive to try anyone new, but Mylon put my fears at ease and she did a terrific french nail dip. She cut my nails to the perfect length and walked me through her process. I was so happy I went back again for another dip and a pedicure this time -- and just as impressed with her pedicure. I get pedicures all year. I live in Buffalo, NY, but I went to Osprey, Florida, to spend 2 weeks with my cousin. We found the best mani/pedi place. It was the best pedicure I have ever, and I mean ever, had. MyLoan was the girl that did my feet and hands. She did such a magnificent job I went back again before I came back to Buffalo. She and her husband run an efficient shop and I have never seen them have customers waiting for service. I get acrylics with gel polish and my nails come out looking great every time. This place is just wonderful! I am always nervous trying a new salon because you never know what it will be like. I am sure glad I walked in here! The owner was very sweet and extremely thorough. The atmosphere is calm and very clean. My dip manicure turned out better then I could have imagined, she even took the time to explain the process as it was my first time getting the dip powder. She kept a light conversation with me throughout the process and made me feel right at home. She had extreme attention to detail that someone who is very picky (cough cough me cough cough) can really appreciate. Oh wow, I can't contain my excitement! Today marked my very first adventure to this marvelous place. Let me tell you, it was an absolute great find. The cleanliness was simply impeccable, leaving me in awe. And the cherry on top? Araceli, my incredible nail technician. Let me assure you, every instrument she used was sterilized, ensuring the utmost hygiene. But wait, it gets better! Araceli's skills were truly mind-blowing. I am visiting Sarasota for work. I get regular mani pedi's in Manhattan where I live. This salon was great. Jenny's excellent massage and fixing of my ingrowns during the pedicure were my favorite part. I appreciated Myloan's sticking to her estimate that she gave me over the phone beforehand even though I requested tips for my dip mani, which she hadn't expected. That was very kind and generous. Myloan's manicure and Jenny's pedicure look impeccable. They gave me water when I came in. The salon is perfectly clean and the nail polish options were way more plentiful than I'm used to. All the polish seems brand new. Impressive!! read more

Best pink and white manicure I have had in 25 years! WOW! I rarely write reviews but I was so incredibly impressed, I felt compelled to do so. Just moved here from Oklahoma and found Valentine's reviews. The reviews were so great, I went. I echo what others have said: A spotless, immaculate salon, with kind and professional nail technicians. Myloan did my nails and was so gentle in her filing. I just moved to Sarasota and a friend mentioned Valentine's Nail Spa to me. I went today and I had a fabulous experience. Michael gave me a great pedicure. I did one that was one up from the basic. Long massage with both scrub and moisturizer. And he was very gentle with doing the bottoms of the feet. No pain. And Cindy did my gel manicure. Did a great job and both took their time. Before I left I made my next appointment. And I felt totally safe with Covid 19. Implements were sterilized and packaged. Seats were spaced. read more

I Googled nail salons near me while on vacation in Siesta Key and Valentine's Nail Spa was my go to after reading the wonderful 5 STAR reviews. I HIGHLY recommend this nail salon. Not only were the staff welcoming, friendly, professional and personable, but the salon was impeccably clean! I had a SNS nail dip for my hands and a polish change for my toes. I've been coming to this nail shop for a little while now and I'm always happy with the results. The space is clean, the vibe is calm, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Someone recommended Valentine's Nail Spa to my sister and I last winter when we were in Siesta Key for a couple months. This is the best nail salon I've tried in Sarasota (after 4 years of trying many different places!). Clean and inviting, I often call ahead to make my appointment which makes it so much easier to get in and out (but they take walk-ins as well). "Merari" was attentive, gentle and very careful with what was left of my nails and cuticles. My nails were ripped, painful, short and ugly. She took her time and gave me a beautiful set of tips with acrylic in the exact shape I wanted. She also spoke beautiful English and has a lovely authentic personality, so the experience was really fulfilling on so many levels. I'm not sure who did my pedi, but she kept trying to cut one of my toe nails too short, which kept causing pain. After my pedi, she went to walk me out, even though I hadn't gotten my mani yet. Definitely a miscommunication with scheduling. Tom did my mani, and honestly it was the worst mani experience I've ever had. I'm a cuticle picker. It's a horrible habit, but I've been this was for 35 years. Tom proceeded multiple times to shame me for picking at my cuticles even going as far as to show me how his fingernails looked so nice because he doesn't pick at them. I got to the point where I was so embarrassed that I started looking off to my left so I could avoid any sort of eye contact with him. Never in my life have I had someone who I'm paying to provide a service talk to me in this way. The only thing he said to me that wasn't something shameful for my cuticle care was when he asked if I lived around here, which yep, sure do.
