I have been going here for years. It's a friendly small salon instead of those big impersonal salons. I've had gel nail polish, regular polish and pedicures here. All were great. I even got my husband hooked on pedicures and I never thought that would happen. I highly recommend! read more

It is unusual that I would review something at two stars... One star may actually be deserved here but the redeeming parts being the pleasantness of the gentleman who did my nails, the color selection for dip, and the price point is in line with my home prices. Short version: on vacation, needed dip polish, turned to yelp and found walk in salon with positive reviews, was initially turned away, cut by the drill, 4 polish pop offs in less than 10 days. Do not recommend. Long review: Visited on December 22, 2019 while on vacation for dip on my natural nail. Business clearly states walk-ins welcome but upon walking in 10 minutes after opening I was told I could not be seen until 6 hours later. Not a huge deal in and of itself but worth noting that an appointment is preferred. Once I returned, I chose a color (a good variety to choose from) and a girl came and started to remove my current dip polish. She was quite rough with the drill and I mentioned to her at least twice that it was very warm and that she had hit my cuticle. Soon after she hit my cuticle again and actually cut me. She did apologize but I had given her the heads up already and she disregarded. In years and years of getting my nails done this has never happened and I have never had someone ignore my comfort. The rest of the experience was fine, as I said at the beginning of the review, and the gentleman who did the actual dip was very nice and fun to work with. On December 28th one was already lifting. By the 30th the right index came off. The 31st the left index and then right thumb. And today, January 1, left middle finger. Less than 10 days and almost half of my polish has come off. I actually used nail glue to put the first two back because I was at work and didn't want to look awful but for just having gotten this done I shouldn't need to do that. My nails have barely grown out at this point and I'm already needing to find time to go get them done again. May be a better experience with gel or shellac or other service? But I don't think I would be willing to find out. read more

I have been coming to Sarasota for 5 years in the winters and have had a hard time finding an acrylic nail place which does a good job consistently. I had finally found one that was 1/2 hour away that I was fairly happy with. Then I saw Top Tier Nails and they are just 5 minutes away from where I live while here. Richar does a fantastic job.
