On more than one occasion, I've arrived for a scheduled appointment only to be told that my nail technician was no longer with the salon and that I'd been reassigned--without any prior notice. I understand staff changes happen, but a quick call or message would go a long way. After finding a new technician I really liked, the same situation happened again. On my last visit, I had booked with someone new and when I arrived, I was asked if I "really meant to book with that person" and that they would suggest someone else instead which was odd. Pricing has also steadily increased without clear communication, and most recently, the salon eliminated its wide selection of regular polish colors (previously 100+ options) and replaced them with a very limited range. If you don't find a shade you like, the only alternative is to upgrade--at an additional cost--to a different product line, which feels frustrating. My most recent visit was the tipping point. The technician did not speak to me throughout the service, was quite rough, and frequently paused to chat with other staff--at one point leaving me sitting there mid-service while conversations continued around me. It felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Icing on the cake was when I left, I checked my bank account and I was overcharged significantly. Luckily, I go there often enough and have the same service each time, so I caught it quickly. After years of being a consistent customer, this was disappointing. I've since decided to go elsewhere.

The man (receptionist?)who answered rudely said, "We call it DIP POWDER here." Ok? Who cares what you call it? I just wanted to know if they did it. So against my better judgement, I ignored his rudeness and made an online appointment. The DIP POWDER is $60 there which is NUTS; however, it includes a manicure and hand massage, so I thought - no big deal. I was there 2+ hours with my nail tech working carefully on my nails. When it was time to pay, the bill was crazy expensive - $145 for my nails and a regular pedicure. I was walking away from the register doing the math in my head and that math wasn't mathing... THEN Mr. Rude asked me to come back and pay $15 MORE dollars. I asked WHY and he said, "Because you're a first time customer and we had to remove your DIP POWDER and that is someone else's work." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? So my DIP POWDER nails were $75~!!! I said - WOW way to treat a FIRST TIME customer! I will not be a repeat customer! I asked WHY i was never informed of this charge before I sat down to get my nails done, and, btw, REMOVING dip powder nails is STANDARD in EVERY salon i've ever been to with no added charge!! I AGAIN asked, "WHY didn't you tell me you were going to charge me this insane amount?" He (in his sassy, rude way) said, "I don't make the prices!" and added, "You made your appointment ONLINE." Umm SO THE HECK WHAT? I didn't get my NAILS done ONLINE. I was there for more than 2 hours! Plenty of time to drop that bomb on me. HE is the one who gave me the nail color palettes before a single service was rendered. There was NO informing me of the additional charge at that time. And THEN, GET THIS ONE....I was charged almost FIVE DOLLARS to use my credit card. Do you think I was informed IN ADVANCE? I wasn't told or asked if I wanted to pay in cash instead. Do you see a pattern here? So that's $20 EXTRA that I was not informed about ahead of time. What a freaking RIP OFF. I will NEVER go back to this place (which was not very clean and played obnoxious loud music). My DiL who is local will not return either. This is POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE! AND they need to fire that fruity receptionist for his rude treatment of customers.

No cuticle remover was used, so my dry cuticles were simply pushed back, which was painful and left them looking rough and uneven. There is polish all around my nails, the pink polish appears old and isn't opaque, leaving a streaky, bumpy finish, and the French tips are uneven and inconsistent. To make matters worse, the salon itself looked run-down, with several things appearing broken and outdated. Overall, the experience felt rushed and unprofessional, and the final result looks nothing like what I paid for. I left feeling disappointed and frustrated. For the price, I expected clean application, proper nail prep, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this salon based on my experience.
