The only small downside was that they were running about 10 minutes late, which made my child a bit antsy--but honestly, given how great everything else was, it wasn't a big deal. When it was time to pay, the bill was crazy expensive - $145 for my nails and a regular pedicure. I was walking away from the register doing the math in my head and that math wasn't mathing... THEN Mr. Rude asked me to come back and pay $15 MORE dollars. I asked WHY and he said, "Because you're a first time customer and we had to remove your DIP POWDER and that is someone else's work." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? So my DIP POWDER nails were $75~!!! I said - WOW way to treat a FIRST TIME customer! I will not be a repeat customer! I asked WHY i was never informed of this charge before I sat down to get my nails done, and, btw, REMOVING dip powder nails is STANDARD in EVERY salon i've ever been to with no added charge!! I AGAIN asked, "WHY didn't you tell me you were going to charge me this insane amount?" He (in his sassy, rude way) said, "I don't make the prices!" and added, "You made your appointment ONLINE." Umm SO THE HECK WHAT? I didn't get my NAILS done ONLINE. I was there for more than 2 hours! Plenty of time to drop that bomb on me. HE is the one who gave me the nail color palettes before a single service was rendered. There was NO informing me of the additional charge at that time. And THEN, GET THIS ONE....I was charged almost FIVE DOLLARS to use my credit card. Do you think I was informed IN ADVANCE? I wasn't told or asked if I wanted to pay in cash instead. Do you see a pattern here? So that's $20 EXTRA that I was not informed about ahead of time. What a freaking RIP OFF. I will NEVER go back to this place (which was not very clean and played obnoxious loud music). My DiL who is local will not return either. This is POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE! At that point, I didn't care who did my nails, I just needed them fixed. I found Nail Addict, walked in, and Marie did my nails while Emily did my pedicure. I absolutely loved Marie. She helped me remove my old nails and when I told her what color I wanted, she immediately went to the back to find it instead of pushing me to choose from the book. She is incredibly talented. I don't know if it's her technique or what it is, but she did my nails perfectly and beautifully. I'm even tempted to get them done again before I leave, even though I don't need to. No cuticle remover was used, so my dry cuticles were simply pushed back, which was painful and left them looking rough and uneven. There is polish all around my nails, the pink polish appears old and isn't opaque, leaving a streaky, bumpy finish, and the French tips are uneven and inconsistent. To make matters worse, the salon itself looked run-down, with several things appearing broken and outdated. Overall, the experience felt rushed and unprofessional, and the final result looks nothing like what I paid for. I left feeling disappointed and frustrated. For the price, I expected clean application, proper nail prep, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this salon based on my experience.

Every stroke, application , file movement is done perfectly with his experienced measuring eye- - no wasted motions at all. Incredible to watch. He uses an antifungal topical treatment too plus fine sands the underside of your nails thoroughly. They offer excellent colors in gell and non gell polishes. MANY COLORS are on work station shelves and in a large cupboard so tell him what you are looking for if you don't see it on the wall display. Twice a year I go back to Minnesota for 4 week trips to unpack / sort/ whittle down huge storage units filled with packed boxes of our belongings.
