Anh is by far the VERY BEST TECHNICIAN / artist I have ever worked with in CONNECTICUT, VIRGINIA , MINNESOTA and FLORIDA over, 35 years. My reinforced -with-an-acrylic-top natural nails last FIVE weeks, NEVER suffered any MOLD anywhere, NEVER CRACKED off painfully. in almost 5 years working with him! So you save money and pain! His hands are swift exacting and his keen eye and 25 years of experience allow him to work SUPER FAST. Every stroke, application , file movement is done perfectly with his experienced measuring eye- - no wasted motions at all. Incredible to watch. He uses an antifungal topical treatment too plus fine sands the underside of your nails thoroughly. They offer excellent colors in gell and non gell polishes. MANY COLORS are on work station shelves and in a large cupboard so tell him what you are looking for if you don't see it on the wall display. Twice a year I go back to Minnesota for 4 week trips to unpack / sort/ whittle down huge storage units filled with packed boxes of our belongings. My nails survive this hard work perfectly - - never falling/ cracking off! Anh's wife and a Hispanic lady also do pedicures manicures. I always use Anh for my nails. I was very intrigued as this place was described as a hidden gem with 5 stars. The best rating in the area, so of course I bit. I was the first appointment of the day, but I still had to wait about 15 minutes past my appointment time to get going - with no communication as to why - was just ignored. The inside was nothing special - a little dirty looking actually. They finally turned on music after 30 minutes or so, but the first 30 minutes was just awkward silence. The place looked a little worn / run down, though I did admire the plexi glass at every station for Covid protection. If I had rated this day of, I probably would have given 4 stars. They were quick and efficient, and the manicure appeared to be flawless. Plus the price was very appealing - $60 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. 2 days later, 2 nails had peeled off completely. Within a week, I had 2 gel nails left. Very disappointing. I'm not sure if there's anything better within the area, but if not I'd say you're better off just painting your nails at home and saving the money. read more

He wasn't happy with me the rest of the visit nor even the next. The pedicure given by his wife was half-baked and didn't even feel like my feet were properly exfoliated afterward. I picked this place randomly since it's nearby my home. As a walk in, it didn't take long to get service. The male manicurist was real gentle and kind with me. He did a fine job on my acrylic nails and I plan on returning sometime soon. Just before I left the place and paid, the other nail technician said bye to me, which I thought was real cute. I think Tram and Anh did a great job! I tried a walk in at first, but they were completely booked that day so next time I'll call ahead, but it is so close to my house I wanted to try it out. The prices were right, and they helped me pick the color out which I am really happy with! Also, I happened to be overdue for my pregnancy, and after the amazing pedicure, I had the baby the next day! So definitely recommend the pedicure if you are past due! Great place! read more

I have lived in Srq for 20 years and have tried about every nail salon in town. I've paid up to seventy dollars for an acrylic fill and gel polish. Anh out did them all! Very clean, relaxing environment, friendly and quiet staff, and the nails are gorgeous. I've never had a fill look so natural. The shape is perfect, not just the tops, but the profile of the nail. Appointments are a must to get in, as they are a two man/woman operation. My wife gets French tip and the cost is $40 for both. A pedi costs $28. I'm from DC, and I've been disappointed in the quality of pedicures in Sarasota since we moved here in 2013. DC is big, and I used to find a decent pedi in a slightly dated, somewhat dumpy nail place in a strip mall for $25-30. Not a spa quality "treat", just basic hygiene. You'd think that in a place where sandals are standard year round, people would be more into pedis but noooo. Anyway, Ahn is the best I've found. It's a nice salon, clean, comfortable and friendly. My toes come out looking less gnarly and more lovely. You can easily find a $60 pedi at any number of fancy salons, but I live here, I have a family and a mortgage, and I just want to not look gross in flip flops. Two thumbs up, this is the only place I recommend. PS- the "unrecommended" reviews here on yelp look like long-time customers to me- this place has a lot of locals who've been going here for years. Just because they have one review on their account (in this case) doesn't mean they are spamming, it means the owners asked them to post a review because they are clearly satisfied customers. read more

We visit Anh's every time we are in Sarasota for vacation, it is always an amazing experience. The last two pedicures I had were given by Janet, she did a fabulous job with a lower leg massage that lasted for 10 minutes. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this nail salon to everyone in the area and visitors. They do take walk in's, however I would call for an appointment as it is a limited in space. read more

Yanet is by far the best at both Pedicures and Manicures! I tend to have ingrown or hard cuticles in my toes and she has been to only one to finally alleviate that discomfort! I frequent 1 or twice a month whether I do a regular polish mani/pedi or gels! She always greets you with a smile and her attention to detail keeps me coming back. Another plus is she works efficiently and you get a fantastic mani and pedi but no need to stay longer than necessary, which works for me!! Highly recommend you book her! read more
