Clean interior and quiet. I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Great prices for the area. Massage chair was standard but confusing to operate. Older equipment and older crowd. Here's the not so good: My technician was proficient but rough. When doing my cuticles she was pulling not cutting. My gel mani was applied quickly and not exactly clean. Biggest peeve, when manicurists use their nails to remove polish on my sick! Yuck. Use the nail stick with acetone, don't scrape my skin. There are plenty of technicians, mostly older, who all spoke English but chose not to engage with the customers. Not a welcoming inviting place. Not even water was offered to me or any of the customers that came in after me. read more

I had a $30.00 pedicure yesterday. It only took 26 minutes it was the worse pedicure I ever had and I have one done every 3 or 4 weeks in a different place, but I was in the area and I thought ,I will give them a chance.. No leg massage, my feet was scrub by a little brush. After she finished putting the top coat on my last toe, she turned off the massage chair started taking the plastic off the tub and told me to sit on the chair to dry off my feet, not been there more than 30 seconds she came back and told me to paid because she might get busy. Very rude personnel highly any nail polish color. Be careful....Never again read more

I have been here a few times and i have been very happy with Helen! She is quick and very nice. She does a fantastic job! Their prices are lower compared to other salons I have been to in the area. It is close to home for me and I like going there. I will return again. read more

I thought I was getting good service. That was until the person doing my nails. Texted me, questioning why I did not tip. I explained, I could not always afford to. So she then told me, She did not want to do my nails anymore. To find someone else. Nice, huh. read more

Generally Salon is good, but like many of these salons, with a foreign way of doing business they pass on the Merchant service fees from any credit card transaction onto the customer. Just another way of abusing their customers. We will not go back, nor will any of the many referrals we have made. read more

We did a walk in (two of us), they were very friendly and accommodating. Also had my baby with us and the nail techs looooved her. Quality nails and service, I've had such bad experience with nail techs in the past months so this was refreshing. The price is fair, the salon is clean, the music was relaxing and there weren't a million tvs on to overstimulate the mind. Massage chairs were great, seemed new and the decor was v aesthetic. Highly Recommend!!! read more

I have gone to this establishment several times. Nothing fancy but I can usually get in last minute for a decent pedicure. Some technicians are better than others so service can sometimes be inconsistent. Prices are fair and staff are friendly! Lots of nail color options. read more

Amazing nails always and sometimes it's cheaper than other times depending on who does it

New to Sarasota and I googled this nail place and saw they had a pretty good review. But I guess one can't always rely on reviews!! I visited this nail place on 6/15 and I'm not happy with the way my nails came out. There's a lot of imperfections that can be seen on my nails, since having gel fill done at this nail place! Not only did it take a long time for the lady to do my nails, Which that wasn't a big deal for me, if my nails would have come out nice! Now I have to hide them and not show them off!! My nails look like I did them myself! So I pretty much threw my money away!!!!won't be going back there again! read more

I'd recommend trying somewhere else if you're looking for a higher standard service. All staff was speaking a different language throughout my experience. I had communication difficulties with my nail technician. She was very nice and sweet, but did not understand what I was trying to tell her. No new OPI collection. And when I asked for OPI black onyx she used a different brand on my toes, and only used it for gel. Resulting in toe polish that looks cheap and bumpy. Not to mention I left with nail polish on my skin; Oh and she cut me during my manicure. read more

I have been going there for some time now. Everyone is very nice and they happily take walk ins. I like to get my nails done with Tina and I have noticed a difference when it's not her doing my nails. The atmosphere is what you would expect but the chairs are comfy and the service is good. read more

I tried this nail shop twice just to make sure I didn't give an inaccurate review. But they are horrible! Barely greet some and extremely nice to others. It's weird. The tech did a horrible job on my nails, and when I came back to get them fixed the other tech was rude about it. Even when they were fixed, she rushed through it. You can see dents, missed polish spots etc. It was awful. I agree with the other yelpers about how rude they are and treat you like they don't care about your business. If you are not a person they deem "important" you flat out don't matter and the shoddy service reflects it. I will NEVER give them another dime of my money. Go elsewhere! read more

Amazing management staff! They went above and beyond for me, I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful nail salon! I wasn't happy with how my SNS nails turned out and called them to ask if I could come back in later on that week, they said yes and were happy to fix them free of charge. When I went in Theresa greeted me and sat me down. She was so sweet and did an incredible job! Such sweet people- 5 stars all the way! :) thank you again! read more

Taxed as hell. $60 for a acrylic filling???? I could go somewhere for $30 and get better looking nails

I would not go back - I just moved here and was in search of a pedicure that would compare to my at home amazing tami nails- this is not the place to go- 30$ 1/2 hour the message was a rub as she wore rubber gloves - "that feels great" polish job was good but my husband sitting next to me was cut 3 times just a thumbs down read more

I've been going to them since Cattlemen road days, on my lunch hour, before kids. Now they are full grown. Its nice to have a place of familiarity. Family run, owned and operated. I've never been disappointed. Busy because they are good and locals and snowbirds alike love them. Making appointment is best but they will accommodate walk-ins too. read more

I was here a few weeks ago getting my nails filled due to my go-to place couldn't take me in that day. The girl who did my fill didn't even care to greet me, wasn't too friendly, while the work wasn't bad it wasn't beautifully done either. She really made me feel like I was inferior and didn't want to services me. I still tipped her 20% of my bill but will I return again? Probably not. read more

Didn't care to greet me when I walked into this establishment, wasn't to friendly I will never return !!!

I'm giving this salon a two-star on account of Sarah who use to do a wonderful job, specifically waxing. She however doesn't work there anymore.after today i really wouldn't give it a star at all. Specifically when one is getting her eyebrows waxed it is necessary for the professional to understand directions/requests..or have a translator in the room. A long story short..im the one walking out the door unhappy..and even though i let them know im unhappy..i was charged fully..and it really isn't the m0ney..its my face!! Going to a wedding and i have nothing to.do about it. Shame..it was avery convinantlocation. read more

Well priced, quality work. I've been getting my nails done off and on for years, and this is the first time I have felt the need to reshape my nails once I've gotten home. The prices were reasonable and my tech actually listened to what I wanted. Only negative is that you can't tip by credit card. read more

Yes, this guy goes for his pedicure's. And while on the FLa Eastcoast, i go to BEST NAILS on Fruitville. Find TAGRET and park your car. It's right next door. Sundays (BIG +) seems busier then weekdays. Different people work on you and offcourse most people have their favorite but if you're like me and you don't give two hoots about who's giving you 'new feet', you just walk in. Friendly staf, sometimes talking and laughing in their own language but then again, who doesn't. read more

Loving this place! At first I was concerned as there were so many chairs, I was concerned they would rush me out especially as it was a Saturday morning before Easter. Not the case. I had a deluxe pedicure: $35 and a polish change. Anna took her time to do an amazing job. They do the hot towel wraps on your legs which to me is pure heaven and the sign of a truly deluxe experience. One of the best pedicures I've ever had in Sarasota / Bradenton and I've lived here full time for 10 years so I've had many many pedicures. Be sure to ask for Anna and get the deluxe as its only $7 more than the regular. read more

Got a bikini wax. The lady asked me if I had a baby. I said "yes she's out there" she said "you have a baby" I said "yes she's 17" she said no a baby in there, pointing to my stomach. I said "no" she said "you might want to go to the doctor and get checked" I said "I'm just fat and I'm 51!!". Who says that to someone? Absolutely rude! read more

Good price for awfully done nails. I have now been 3 times simply to fix what they didn't do properly. Nails hardly last a week without a problem. I showed up before 5pm and they refused to take my nails off. Will NEVER go back there. Rude staff and an all around inconvenience. read more

I started getting acrylic gel manicures a few months ago and I love how my nails come out. The pedicures are good and the massaging feels awesome, but the polish could be a little better. Have had my nails done for 45 years and last 3 months went to dipped from acrylic by new management at AJ.. seems that is what they prefer..yep cost more and better for your nails. Quy was always my girl.excellent job and then gone. Forced out by new management. Have been doing nails there 10 years. New owners idiots. Went to Best on Fruitville by Winn Dixie..thought try them out...dipped pink and white..today clipping them off after week and a half. Thinly done...chipped..split etc. Never have I been so pissed in 45 years. Found Quy..going there..Hair Habit Salon..284-4283. I have no problem promoting good work. read more

Would give a 0 star if I could. Sent my teenage daughter in to get her nails done. They were very rude to her. Ignored her then took someone else first who came in after her. She was very upset when she came out. She did not get her nails done there since they were so RUDE! I've been a customer there many times myself, but never again. There are many other nail salons I'd rather give my money to. read more

The first time I came here I needed a quick shellac manicure. The guy was efficient but within 4 days one finger chipped. I came back to have them fix the chip and get a pedicure, place was packed which I expected for a Friday evening. I took a seat in the waiting area and over heard the employee tell a woman their credit card machine wasn't working today. This really needs to be something they tell people in advance. A couple of us got up and walked out. I don't carry more than $10 in cash but I could have used the ATM machine they have inside and be charged exorbitant fees to get cash. read more

Was the best spa pedicure ever. Teresa was great. Never had a pedicure with a lot of massage . Will go back.

I have been coming here on and off for a while. Normally my nails are good. Today I made the mistake of bringing my own Gel polish because their selection is so limited and last time they were out of my first 2 color choices. They battled me and a women kept telling me my gel polish isn't gel and doesn't need the light. Because I don't like to argue with people I went ahead and told her that's fine and I let the gentlemen paint my nails on normal. Now I have to go home and re paint them and put them under the light myself because they are smudged and ruined before I have even left the parking lot because they demanded to fan dry a polish that's clearly designed to have the UV light. I'll have to find another place that is less argumentative and acknowledges that people can buy their own gel polishes. $30 wasted because now I'm going home to repaint these myself. Don't use this place unless you want to use their small selection. read more

Used to be my favorite place in the area, I would go for a pedicure every couple weeks. However the past few times have no longer been enjoyable. The service was rushed and the waits were long. The prices have also increased and they no longer allow you to add a tip with a credit card payment! I don't always carry cash on me so the last time I went they refused to allow a tip. I had no idea of this new policy, it was so awkward. I am now in search of a new nail place. read more
