The absolute WORST pedicure I have ever had. My nails were completed around 5:15pm. I just got home at 8pm and took my flip flops off and my nails are still extremely tacky. The polish scraped right off. With no remover, no picking, it literally stuck to my shoe. AND, they didn't even remove all my old polish. I saw in another review someone said they thought they watered down the polish and that must be completely correct. I'll never be back. read more

Lilly is wonderful manicurist! The salon is very clean but if you use this salon I suggest you bring your own polish. I believe they water down the polish. The polish chips easily and can still be translucent after two visits. I bring my own polish to avoid this issue read more

I made an appt to try them out since a friend goes there. Weirdest experience in all my years. I have dip on nails and gel on toes. I have a seat to have my pedicure by Lyn(who was very sweet) and another lady(maybe Kim? no one introduced themselves) comes over and starts to Dremel the dip on my hands. First nail - HOT!! She ends up doing all of my nails, start to finish, while I am having my pedicure. I had to reach over with my bad shoulder so she could do both hands. Very rushed, no cuticle treatment. Then at the end, she squirts something on my hands and hits me right in the face. She is clueless. Not relaxing, no customer service. No offer of a drink. My purse remained on the floor and was covered in the dip she drilled off at the pedicure chair. Worst experience in all of my years. There is a salon on every corner. Went in and asked for an ombré French with dip and even showed a picture of exactly what I wanted. Was told they can't do it with dip and it had to be acrylic. Fine whatever. She does them, tells me I'm done, I look down and see that my nail is literally half pink half white completely not blended or in any way an ombré. I ask her to redo it and make them blend. She proceeds to use the dremel file thing and file the life out of my nails to the point that my fingers were burning and I kept telling her to stop. Today, my fingers are on fire they are so sore to the touch. They are also just one solid color, not an ombré at all. Wouldn't recommend read more

This is a very nice nail shop. I just wish they were a little bit more friendlier with assisting with services without having to ask a manager to get something done. I just wanted to wash my feet just before a natural nail job in my feet and they had to ask their manager about it first. I didn't like that. It was kinda a hard time to get couple of things done. I also think they can have an upgraded tool set when cutting nails to make all of them match (when cutting the nails not to use a nail clipper but a professional nail sliding clip so nails are more even and precise) My nails came out shorter which I really didn't expect. I went to S&S nails a few weeks ago as a walk in appointment around 5. I needed a manicure and pedicure and was assisted not long after I arrived. A gentleman, I believe his name was Dean, did both my manicure and pedicure amazingly. He took his time and listened to each request I had with care. Everyone in the salon was extremely kind and didn't make me feel rushed when I had to stay a little after they closed to finish my nails. This morning I went in for a fill and CC took care of my nails for me. She was very kind, professional, and my nails look great. I've tried a lot of salons in Lakewood ranch but unfortunately was not having luck finding somewhere I felt comfortable and left feeling happy with my nails. So glad I found S&S!! read more

I got my nails done here on a Friday. Saturday night one broke from me pulling up the covers. I went in Tuesday to fix it. The fix was absolutely horrible and I was charged for it. Then same day of the fix another one broke from me ripping a paper towel. I am not one of those girls that are rough on my nails or one to complain but this is ridiculous. I just wasted $60 to have nails for 2 days. I would NOT recommend this place. The people are nice but their work is by no means good. read more

Thought I'd try a new nail place. Very accommodating when making appointment. Really nice atmosphere-clean,modern and new. I didn't feel a warm welcome upon arrival. Had no introduction and lack of communication. Wasn't too keen on my nail tech having her mom sit next to her the whole time and have a conversation while doing my nails. The whole place was made out super unprofessional in the end, when the look of the building did not match. Asked for my nails to be round and they were lopsided squares. Had to refile once I got home. Gel polish did not go to sides of my nails. I also did not get offered lotion or any hand massage. They carry mainly dip powder products-yet also carry O.P.I gel, O.P.I regular polish and O.P.I dip powder and a few other brand. I did NOT see CND shellac gel polish bottles. Yet on the menu it says they offer shellac manicures.(confusing) .. Id recommend to a quick fix or natural nail manicures only. read more

I've gone there several times to have my nails done. Lilly is fantastic! She always takes her time and my nails last almost a month. She does a great job getting close to the edges and the dip is thin and doesn't look huge like some other places I've been. It's very clean and modern. First negative review I've ever left anywhere .. usually don't like to do this. HOWEVER- since getting my fingers and toes done here, I've gotten 2 toe nail infections (have never had these before.) I got dip on my fingers (supposed to last a long time), and a whole nail chipped after 3 days. I got gel on my toes (also meant to be long lasting) and it lasted a week before the polish peeled off in sheets. Really bummed as I was hoping to find a new nail salon close to home. :/ read more

Went in for a pedi and dip nails. 2 1/2 hours later I walked away very disappointed. The cuticles on my toes look haggard and the person doing my nails clearly had no experience. They are super thick, bumpy and look like I have 2 weeks growth already. They even started off with the wrong color. I will not be back! read more

The place was very clean and well put together, but the person doing my nails had to be corrected many times and almost put the wrong color on even though i showed him the color, took about 1 1/2 for him to put the fill in, then another 1/2 an hour to an hour for him to put the polish on. He did not know how to work with gell polish and had to have somebody help him. Gel polish is supposed to dry immediately but my polish did not (hinting that he used the wrong polish) and i ended up having several cuts on my hands from the filing. I walked into this salon without an appointment for my manicure and pedicure. It's clean and very modern setting. It's very sanitized. I love the cleanness atmosphere here. The nails technicians here are very professional and friendly. I was lucky to have this nail technician names Honi Bee did my pedicure, she spent her time carefully did my pedicure without rushing. I love the way she gave feet massaged, she took her time patiently out of her way to give an excellent service. I normally get my feet massaged in a massage spa, it would cost me more without pedicure. From now on, I will come here to get my pedicure done with feet massage included in the package. My friend's technician huffed and puffed the entire time she was doing her nails and made nasty comments multiple times throughout the appointment. She told her "You need to pay attention!" during her manicure and said "Don't move!" three or four separate times while she was getting her polish put on. Every time I go here I always say I will never go back. It's a nice clean place with a good variety of nail colors, but the service is NOT good. I recently got a dip manicure there and the woman doing my nails rushed through the entire thing and my manicure turned out awful. I have gotten so many dip manicures in my life and I know the process. She didn't even bother to put a dip top coat on, she tried to put a gel top coat (which I have had someone else do at this salon and it peeled off within days) and when I asked her not to she just slapped some normal top coat on which did not dry. She then had to awkwardly wipe off and repaint my "dip" nails for 15 minutes while she was also trying to do someone else's nails. Honestly I was so disappointed and frustrated by this experience. It's expensive and NOT worth it. Go somewhere else. read more

I started going to S & S because we moved and the salon was closer to where we currently reside. I have only been there three times. I will never go back! I have had gel/acrylic nails for years and never had a problem. Last week when I went in for a fill I found out that three of my fingernails had a fungus! The nail tech definitely didn't know how to deal with this problem (neither did I, as it has never happened to me befor). She proceeded to put clear gel polish on my nails after giving me a basic manicure. I didn't find out until I returned home that the nails should have been left with nothing on them (my mom is in the beauty industry).
