I have discovered Vanna for my pedicures. She does such a thorough and wonderful job on my pedicure w gel polish. She takes her time and asks questions on preferences and carries good conversation. Have had my nails done by Jade nice. She does a great job especially in the cuticle area & very talented with doing designs. I wish she wasn't on her phone so much - kind of a turn off. Place is a little cluttered but clean. Prices are better than going to salons in Lakewood Ranch. Plenty of parking & very easy to make appointment online. read more

Jade is a rockstar manicurist. I showed her one photo of the style I wanted and she perfectly matched the color (blended two colors for the nails) then did the tips in the perfect shade of blue. I am so impressed! Some manicurists wouldn't be able to artfully free-hand draw the tips but Jade did it perfectly. I'll definitely be back every time I'm in Bradenton! Thanks Jade! The salon itself is nicely maintained although as with all places could use better ventilation for the nail polish fumes. read more

This place has the most comfy chairs with armrests. It's welcoming. Designed to make getting in and out super safe. I came as a walk in. This place is spotless, spacious, and pretty quiet. I was informed they offer full-services. It's a deluxe nail salon & spa. I wanted to have my nails and lashes done but the lady who does the lashes was booked. My nail tech Delven is very personable, gentle, and great conversationalist. I was fortunate, I literally had no wait time. My cellphone was lacking charge, but I was grateful they had one for me to use. I showed D the pick of the style I'd like: The nail design done to my nails wasn't perfect but it was done pretty well. Total cost of my nail design with acrylic was $80 even. I read on the website "next door" that they give first time customers 20% off their total cost. I inquired, and sadly, I was told they don't have anything to offer new customers. They have water readily available for their customers. However bc it's my first time I didn't feel comfortable taking unless I was offered. No one offered me water. Overall, thank you for the experience. I'd suggest this nail shop to others if someone asked. read more

I have had numerous pedicures and always go back again. The manicurists are very nice and do a beautiful job! The available pedicure services are extensive and can include an amazing massage and hot stones. I don't often find a nail salon that gives the quality level of service that earns a 5 star but Flora's is definitely the exception! We have been here twice and both times our nail techs were amazing! All sanitation protocols followed, quality polish, and the nail technicians were spot on. Today I had Ivy and she did an amazing job. Her scrubbing technique was firm enough to not have me squirming in my chair (super ticklish). She gave a nice massage, filed my toes correctly to not cause in grown tie nails and did a simple clean up after polishing. This is def our new spot while in the Bradenton! read more

made an appointment with a specific person. when I got there she was not available so had to settle for someone else. I felt like she was pushing more expensive options. agreed to do powder and ended up with very thick nails. then I agreed to pedicure. tried to push gel pedicure but I did not want gel. I chose a pedicure that was supposed to be 50 minutes with leg massage but it was over in 30 minutes. she also tried to get me to get waxed. felt like I was in a nail factory. Whenever we are visiting the area, this is typically our preferred nail salon. Unfortunately, this last nail appointment was so overwhelmingly disappointing that it overshadowed any of the good we've experienced there in the past. I took my 3 nieces to Flora nails and booked the appointments a day ahead. I booked online 3 dip nail appointments for myself and my older two nieces and 1 wet/dry basic pedicure for my 12 year old niece. When we got there as soon as they opened (and at our scheduled time 9am), we were asked what our appointments were for and I said "3 dip manicures and 1 wet/dry pedi". My youngest niece who was getting the pedicure wasn't taken back until 20 minutes after I was already sat. I could see her the entire time, made sure to check in with a smile and a thumbs up every once in a while. As soon as I finished, I went back to check on my niece getting the pedicure and she was getting gel which in the beginning she had asked for regular polish. Apparently, Kim, her nail tech told her that Gel would be better.. that was the first up charge she sold my 12 year old niece on without my consent. When I went to pay for all the services we had, they showed me the bill and my 12 year old niece had gotten the $87 pedicure done instead of the $37 wet/dry I had preselected for her online and verbally said to the front desk attendant. My niece told me the nail tech gave her the menu and told her to pick one... when I confronted them about why they would have a child choose something that was already chosen beforehand and without consulting with the adult first, they said "we don't ask people their ages here". What if I had chosen the wet/dry pedicure for my niece bc she was allergic to something in any of the other pedicures? Why give someone who clearly looks like a child that decision? Not a single apology was given, only excuse after excuse. I'm just so incredibly disappointed in how they handled this incident, I will not be returning to this salon. Kim the nail tech knew exactly what she was doing handing my 12 year old niece that menu, she wasn't happy with the standard price of wert/dry pedicure with regular polish and she got exactly what she wanted... $37 in services turned into $107. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable behavior. read more

First off, it was extremely hot inside which is definitely off-putting when you are going to get a manicure or pedicure and trying to relax to get out of the Florida heat. This was my first time here and I felt as though I was not welcome when I arrived after checking in. When I asked where the bathroom was I got a look as if I should know already and the same thing when I asked where the colors were to choose from. Definitely not a great first impression. You can tell the salon has been either open for a while or just rarely cleaned as the chairs were covered in nail clippings and dust. read more

I have come here two times. The first time I came I was thoroughly impressed so even though the prices are much higher than my typical place, I came back for a second time because it is open on Sunday. However I made an appointment days in advance for my pedicure and when I got there I was forced to wait 45 minutes. That was extremely frustrating. I made an appointment because I only had a short amount of time. The lady did apologize and said they were short staffed (which is no surprise because everywhere short staffed these days). I cannot remember my lady's name but she did a great job. The massage on my leg was super strong. She did say that some people think she's too rough, but I thoroughly enjoyed how intense it was. She also did a great job with the Polish and every aspect of it. My only reason that I am reluctant to visit again is that with a tip, a basic gel pedicure was $84. That is definitely pricey. 50 for the pedicure and $20 extra for gel. Then a 20% tip. Aside from the priceyness, great place! read more

This was by far the best experience I have ever had. She is professional and knew what I wanted from the picture I brought in. Jade is the best nail tech. I always get an acrylic and most of the time some type of nail art and Jade knocks its out of the park. She's knowledgeable on any trendy styles and can do amazing nail art. She recently did the Hailey Bieber nails and they look amazing. She's very detailed and precise and will make sure my cuticles look amazing. Not only is she an amazing tech, she's super friendly and funny so it's always nice talking to her. The salon itself is very calm and relaxing. They serve you refreshments if you need and have plenty of TVs so you can watch something while you're getting pampered. Spent 350 dollars here. 3 ped 1 gel fill I told the lady My nail was cracked and it needed to be replaced. She said no and she was going to fill with extra gel. I told her it would not work. She did her way anyway. The next day it cracked in half again. I come in the next day to get it replaced the right way. She was not here. I was telling them how I get my nails bc I use gel x as tip and liquid gel on top bc of my job. The lady had an attitude with me I felt ganged up on and embarrassed. She told me I needed to pay 10 dollars for them to fix it. It should have been fixed the right way the first time so I didn't have to come back again. I wanted to get my GelX removed, replaced with a gel manicure, a 'luxury' pedicure and eyebrow wax. I am here visiting family and wanted to treat myself to some nice fresh nails and this place has good reviews. The girl was either Lynn or Laura based on the roster I saw, that had a only 2 appointments recorded for the day. The girl who did my nails was the one not wearing glasses. The shop was not busy. She immediately burned my pinky finger with the little roller thing, as she was moving the roller over my nails super fast, she didn't even apologize. She wrapped the nails in the alcohol and cotton to soak. I sat down for the pedicure and she lazily handed me a crusty, stained neck pillow that was too hot. Then she rushed my pedicure, not clipping my cuticles thoroughly, she didn't even cut all of my toenails. She didn't scrub my feet, the water was cold and not relaxing for my pedicure. I was clearly suffering with the nick in my pinky finger that she burned, I said multiple times it was stinging. The pedicure was not luxury whatsoever. When we got to the rest of the manicure, she was still moving too fast and when I mentioned this to her she said 'oh at the beginning i go fast, but then i go slower' (?!?!) which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard, she didn't even get all the gel off my nails. She then sat there blaming ME for having 'sensitive nails' and tried making excuses for her awful job being done and I really didn't want to her it by this point. She was sitting there almost arguing with me, so I asked her to just finish please, that I changed my mind about the additional services. I decided I didn't want her to touch my face and canceled the eyebrow wax and getting any polish on my hands/feet, because seeing this experience so far, I wasn't going to pay more money for gel that will chip or fall off in 2 days and with her lack of care was showing me this was already a waste of money. The salon was also filthy, the floor dirty and stained as through it has not been swept or mopped in a few days, it certainly wasn't cleaned last night before they closed. The shop is crusty, tape holding stuff together everywhere. There is no way in hell this place has real awards. No way, it was disgusting and disappointing. She didn't even file them properly. I had to come back hoe and fix them myself. Not worth the $80 in ANY WAY. If you don't want to be a nail technician - get another job. I drove 20 minutes to get here too because it seemed like a good bet. I was wrong. Don't go here!!

John Paul did my hair 3 times now and gave me exactly what I asked for as well as local restaurant recommendations because I was new to the area. Katie gave my two year old son his first haircut and was so patient with him and turned what could have been a stressful situation into something easy and fun for him! Then today I went to get my nails done with Ana. It was by far the best nail experience I ever had. She made me feel so welcome and conversing with her was easy. She did a fantastic job on my nails and I couldn't be happier. I couldn't recommend this place enough!!!!! They really take amazing care of you and make you feel like they have known you for years. I'd give it 10 stars out of 5 if I could.

Absolutely the worst place of business. We came in for two pedicures and full sets. This is why I am leaving this one now. I did not see any mention of the shopping center conditions or the shop. Two things I would have liked to have been informed of, along with the lack of professionalism, before choosing this place. With so many other extremely clean and professional shops in the surrounding area. They refused to serve us, saying they had no time to do manicures that day or in the days to come. What??? We are from out of town, and NOWHERE does it say an appointment is REQUIRED. I would not recommend this place. Extremely rude and highly unprofessional.
