I tried really hard to like the place. My first shellac mani I was pretty happy with. My pet peeve is when they don't get the paint close to the cuticle and the nail tech did a pretty good job. The next time I went in, I got a person who was having her first day. Firstly, she didn't even push back my cuticles. Everyone knows its critical to have clean nails/cuticles for shellac to last! Also, she didn't spray and clean my nails prior to applying the paint. When I stuck my hand in the lamp, I could feel nail filings EVERYWHERE. The next day it started to have bubbles. A few days later, one of my thumbs started to peel at the cuticle. UGH. I won't be returning. The search to find a decent salon that actually does a decent job and isn't trying to up sell you every other minute. Don't waste your money here. read more

Dirty and BAD customer service. Do not waste your time trying this place out. They seriously need to clean more often...dirty chairs, floor, etc. Waited 45 minutes after being told it would only be 2 minutes...once I finally got placed in a chair for a pedi, a girl came over, but then the front desk person came over whispered something to her and she got up and left (saying nothing). After that no one bothered to come say anything to me and another girl didn't show up until 15 minutes later. At that point I got up to leave....didn't have another hour to waste. Stick to Vogue Nails...best place around! I wish someone would have bothered to communicate with me, poor customer service. read more

first time here today as their other store was packed.Ann was my tech and she kept burning my nails with that machine I asked her twice to please slow down, my nail job was sloppy and rushed which at their other location I never experienced. Experience and lessons are in need for Ann. NO hand and arm massage after it was slap on that oily stuff and goodbye, not even a please wash your hands if you like. Serenity does not exist There was also a handful of kids that kept the place loud which was not relaxing at all, where were their parents idk. If its a bday party let the guest know ahead of time. I enjoyed my $31 spa pedicure, but there are a few improvements that could bring this place up to five stars. Even though everything is brand new and there's a focus on cleanliness, I noticed that the trays and walls are already looking dirty. My toes do look great and I enjoyed watching the fish swim around in the tank. Not the best pedicure I've ever had, but very far from the worst. read more

I won't be going back. I had a not so good experience with their sister store also. This place is over priced and charges for every little thing from shaping your nails or wanting to do different colors. Everything is charged. Also, my nails started breaking and the shellac starting lifting in less than a week!!!! Ridiculous. I have never had that happen before. read more

Unfortunate Update Saturday, 10/21/18, I booked an appointment and visited to have my powder color removed, manicure with shellac and pedicure with shellac. Everything was going pretty good until about 3/4 through my nail service I asked the technician, Mimi, to remove the nail polish from the tip of one of my nails. She then replied stating "It's not finished yet" I said "okay." She continued saying and explaining, that "it's not finished yet." She said "I still have to trim and clean." I said "okay" a second time. She continued talking and stated "the polish is under the nail not on top." I then stated to her, after her being rude and defensive about me asking about my OWN nails that I AM PAYING to get serviced "if the polish/powder color is under the nail, then that's what you tell me. I didn't realize that it was under. I thought it was in top." She then looked at me, stepped back and refused to finish my nails. The receptionist came over, asked me what happened and I explained the situation. I asked the receptionist "Is she refusing to do my nails?" She replied "Yeah." The managers/owners sister (I believe her name is Michelle) had to come and finish my nail service. She was very pleasant and nice as was the receptionist. They both always have great customer service. Michelle does great work! I was totally confused and could not understand for the life of me why Mimi became so upset and defensive about me asking 2 questions (total throughout the process) and being attentive to the services being rendered. The pedicure that I received was not as good as they've been in the past either. When I left I noticed that one of my toenails was uneven on one of my toes and the polish had bubbles in it. Not sure what's happening with this establishment. Nothing was offered to me as a means to rectify the issue. I will not be returning unless Mimi is no longer there. I had a very good experience this time around. I got a spa pedi/classic mani with shellac. the mani lady was very attentive to the details of my manicure in fact it was one of the best manis I've received in a long time. The pedi was good and looks nice too. it's my first shellac so i am hoping both last longer. This time around the manager seemed to acknowledge me and spoke to me at check out, giving me some tips on the shellac polish and was very friendly verses the last 2 times I was there. Very disappointed. I've been a client for two ears and the past couple of times, this place has let me down. I pay $60 before tip each time and both times the nail polish has either bubbles or the paint job is awful and all over my fingers. The second time this happened, I called and asked them to fix it. I was leaving town and told them I couldn't come in right away. I came back from town and came in to have the bad polish removed. They charged me and asked if I wanted to leave a tip. Are you serious???! Never again. Quality has gone WAY down. Will be going elsewhere. read more

I set an appointment (a day in advance) to get my lashes done. They took me back to a room, and had me lay down. After waiting a few minutes, they said another customer was there and had scheduled an appointment before my appointment time. They told me they will need the room I was laying in, and that I needed to move. When I asked where, they said DOWN THE STREET. To another location near the McDonalds! They said I could ride with one of them??!! So rude to make a customer get up and move for a different customer in the first place. And not only to move me to just another room, but tell me I have to drive to ANOTHER LOCATION. After I already had quite a bit of a drive. And had scheduled my appointment time! Rude and BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Handled so poorly. read more

I came in here last week to get SNS nails done. The technician, John, did a fabulous job. Even though the receptionist said that they would last at least 2 weeks, I noticed that the top coat had started peeling off within a week. Nevertheless, I went back to the store to have the polish removed. Whoever had attempted to remove the polish (which were two people), had absolutely no clue as to what they were doing. I had to soak my hands in acetone (which had terrible fumes), then later had another lady use a mechanized tool to buff off the polish. After an hour and half, my nails are now scratched up, uneven, and have ghastly grooves etched onto them because of the mechanized tool. I only included the extra star because they didn't charge me for the polish removal as a token of their apology, applied a strengthening clear coat, and gave me a face mask when my hands were soaking in the acetone. If getting SNS nails done here, I highly recommend getting a technician who knows how to remove the polish properly. Otherwise, just stick to good old fashioned Shellac. Very disappointed with the experience I had today. read more

I didn't want to write a bad review but I was forced. My daughter had a $45 full set of dipping nails done on a Saturday and by Tuesday they were lifting! I rang up the manager who, to be fair, offered to repair the lifted nails. My daughter was in Katy from out of town and can't go back for a repair. I sent a photo of the lifting nail (I didn't think a photo of every single lifted nail was necessary). The Manager said 'I only can see one lifted nail.' For $45 she could have protected the reputation of her salon. Instead, she had an excuse and argued with me on everything! She never offered a refund! I live two blocks from this salon and will NOT be going back. Even their Express Manicure Polish starts to chip off after two days. I will be sure and let my friends know about the shoddy work at this salon. There is a nail salon on every corner in Katy! read more

I hate to leave a bad review but with my cuticles bleeding as I type this, I feel compelled to. I was hoping to love this place after reading all the positive reviews and it being close to my house. I called to say I wanted the powder dip nails but that I needed to be done in 1 hour as I had a Drs appointment. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating. When I arrived, I picked out my colour which was matching what I had on my nails, light pale pink. The girl I had did not speak hardly any English and so shaped my nails differently than what I requested. When she started dipping my nails, the colour looked too dark but it's hard to tell with the first dip. The colour turned out to be completely wrong, fluorescent pink. Something a high school girl may wear. Not even close to what I selected. But after the wrong shaping and 3 dips in, I didn't have any time left to change. I told my manicurist that it was the wrong colour and she blamed it on me. That I should have said something earlier!! It's dipped nails...hardly possible to see what the colour is going to be. But the worst part is that she cut my cuticles way too much and they are sore and bleeding. Everyone I bump my hands or put them in my purse, they hurt. She also glued the nail tips to the skin underneath my nails. I have been picked and separating my skin from the nails all night. No manager ever came to check how it was going or if I was satisfied. I was so late for my Dr appointment I just had to quickly pay and leave. read more

Im new to the area and this is my first nail salon that Ive visited since I got here. I came in because its really close to my home. Ny nail tech was from California which made me feel right at home. I picked a really light yellow color for my mani and pedi, it was a hard color to put on, and she took her time and did a really good job. Ill definitely be back. I came here for dio nails and I really loved the way my nails were done! I like them to be really thin and more natural looking and the nail tech did it exactly how I wanted it. I took a star out because I really hated their process for removing my old nails. She put a bucket of acetone with some paper towels in it and a towel over top and told me to put my hands in the bucket and scrub my nails off. There was a towel covering the acetone but the fumes were really strong and I've never had to take my own nails off before. I might consider coming back if they don't take my nails off with that method again.. read more

I've been coming here to get my lashes done for the last 9 months and I absolutely love it! Both Judy and Rose do a wonderful job. They always looks so natural and I've never left unsatisfied with them. They're open to constructive criticism if you don't like a particular area and do whatever needs to be done to fix the situation. As far as their mani/pedis go I don't have a particular person I request, but I've never had an issue with any of them. They have a ton of polish and shellac colors to choose from. It's always clean, and they let you take home some of the equipment they use for sanitary purposes. Their massages are done to a timer so it's not up to the technician's discretion of what's "good enough" and it's not like some places where the massage is just them slapping lotion on you real quick. I know walk-ins are welcome and are easily accommodated when getting a mani/pedi but I would suggest calling for an appointment if you're wanting your lashes done. I've called and made same day appointments and usually gotten in around the time requested but if you're on a tight schedule I'd suggest giving them a day or two heads up! read more
