(apologies to Lamson for the late review...) but i got my nails done here for prom (april 2025), and Mr. Lamson did an excellent job!! my nails are really really short so i was afraid they would be hard to work with -- and i was also experimenting with a nail shape i normally never get -- but his work was very even, and he took his time to thoroughly make sure the nails were perfect :) at some point during the appointment, my allergies were acting up and i was coughing obnoxiously (how embarassing...) but he gave me a water bottle which i thought was very sweet!! if you want someone who will ensure that your nails match a reference photo or preference you have, and if you need a worker who will happily accept any comments / criticism, Lamson is the best!! read more

Went to this salon for my first pedicure in over a year due to Covid. My tech was since enough, but she didn't introduce herself, so I don't know her name. I got the special pedicure they were advertising, and it was very nice smelling and it felt great. I appreciated their drink menu, even though I didn't partake. I thought everything was great, but when I got home and took a proper look at my toes, I was pretty disappointed. There's tons of polish on my skin, and a lot of my nails are cut unevenly. She cut the nails, but didn't file them or buff them very well. My skin wasn't as moisturized or as soft as I would have liked or expected either. In all, I don't think I'll be back, despite the nice atmosphere and cleanliness. read more

Came here twice, each time, my nails took less than a week to break, almost completely. Pretty pointless to get my nails done If they break in less than a week when I don't even do much with my hands. Also! If you're going to SNEAK in a tip to everyone's service (party of 3) say that so I don't tip you even more, especially if the job wasn't good. Also, why is it that within the first week, my nails look like there almost 3 weeks old? Why are they already lifting from the cuticles 4 days strong? What am I paying a sneaky tip on top of a regular tip? Why is the only male that do tips seem to have all my nails leaning to one side? We come there all the time, it's my daughter birthday and I asked to get each girl nails and toes a polish change and the head lady said $23 but $25 for gel. When they finished one of the daughters nails and toes, she gave me a bill for $50 for each kid. And she clearly stated $25, then when I confronted her about the price she said it's $8 for toes, but $12 for gel. So technically it would have been $24 correct for nail and toes! So $25 is a $1 more. So again, how did we get $50 for each kid. Truly don't make since. We will never be back! read more

Wow, I'm impressed. I took my little sisters here for their birthday and we all got gel manicure and pedicure and they made us feel pampered. One of the things I really like about this place is that they didn't try to nickle and dime me during the service. They were upfront about prices and honored any discount they had published which 99% of salons don't do. My little sister accidentally got the wrong pedicure and they still gave us the right price on that. I think that's why I'm going to keep coming back to this place even without discounts. My mom recommended this place to me. I am so glad she did. I love this place! We felt pampered! And lychee mimosas are yum!! Mimi did my nails and feet, and Evie did my sisters blue nails. Superb! My normal nail salon was booked yesterday evening, so I came to Global since it was the closest in the vicinity. I figured how could you mess up a gel manicure and pedicure? Impossible right? I was wrong. This place is a little dingy, no TVs, no complimentary drinks, no bells or whistles. The ladies weren't particularly friendly, but they weren't unfriendly either. My seven year old daughter and I were their last customers for the day. I picked my color, and as the tech was applying it, I noticed it was similar in shade, but it wasn't the same as the swatch I had picked. I still had the swatches next to me and checked my color against it, and noticed it was an exact match for another color I hadn't chosen. It was closing time and I wasn't going to give them a hard time, being that the lady working on my feet was almost done. By time I got home part of my thumb nail had already chipped. Today, a big chip on my thumb, and my pointer finger is chipped. I've never had that happen at my usual nail spa. When I got home I started inspecting my feet, and they were so sloppy I could have done them myself. There was no attention to detail, no clean up work done whatsoever. I figured at least if they didn't have all of the amenities as some of the newer nicer places, their prices would reflect that, but noooo, I paid $90 for my daughter and I which is the same I pay at the nicer places. I'm out of town or I would've gone back to have them fix it. Now I have to walk around with a chipped manicure while on vacay. I won't be going back ever. read more

This place is horrible waited 2 Hr's for a pedicure and the place wasn't even busy. Rosa or Rosalyn whatever her name is. It was hard to communicate due to the fact that she didn't speak English. she kept getting up during my pedicure and wouldn't finish and continue to help other customer's. She couldn't even apply nail polish correctly. She also left all my dead skin on my feet and after she was done, I was left on the massage chair and was never offered to sit on the pedicure dryer like the other customer's. I literally had to ask for nail spray that they spray after you go to the pedicure dryer. The whole staff is Racist!!!!! After my horrible experience! I strongly believe they buy their review's. We shared a laugh because I told him I had never had a male do my nails and he turned out to be better than all the females I had gone to. He REALLY cares about pleasing his customer. this was my first and last time going there! when i walked in, it didn't smell pleasant. i went in for a polish change. they gave me the worse person they have. she was not at all gentle and did a rush job! a few of my toes aren't fully polished and she left polish around some of my toe nails. she rushed me to the pedicure dryer and i messed up one of my polished toenails. she quickly applied more polish and a top coat which made it thicker (see photo below). then to make matters worse she stared at me the entire time. i felt so uncomfortable but i had to wait for my toenails to dry. i could've done a better job doing it myself. read more
