I've gotten the most expensive pedicure here and the least expensive. Regardless of price, it's always a high end experience! My results are consistent, no matter when I go. I love the beverage choices and the fact that there is always a nice guy at the front to bring you to a manicurist. I don't get my nails done as frequently as some people, but this is my go to place. I have been coming here for 2 years. When my original nail tech left due to medical reasons I started coming to TK. She is absolutely amazing and I have never had an issue. My nails last 3 weeks at the least with out refill. She takes so much time to make sure it's done right. Vincent does my pedicures and I will NOT go to anyone else, not because of the quality of the other techs work but because Vincent is just top notch. I don't know what the negative reviews are about but seems like a rare experience or not taking care of your nails. The nail techs can only do so much. Experience was OK. The guy at the front was kind and welcoming. Was able to get serviced right away. The experience felt a little rushed. However, my complaint is with the pricing. They charged an additional $30 more to do a simple tip design. A French tip is additional $5 and yet the design I received isn't a full solid French tip. I've been coming here for years now. I used to love deluxe when trinity used to be a receptionist. She was warm and welcoming and was able to manage clients. Once she left after Covid the place went down the drain. There hasn't been a consistent receptionist. The place was being run by the nail techs and the owner actually had one nail tech run just the front desk for some time and she was a hot mess still messing up appointments. Most good nail technicians do not last at this establishment (besides my girl Tina. She has been doing my pedicure since the time they've opened and she's amazing - bless, so I rate her 10/10). Everyone I have liked here has quit sadly. The purpose of my review today is after several months of not coming to deluxe due to the horrible service - I decided to try a nail tech my sister USED to go to before she found a private nail tech. I called early this morning to make an appointment at 1:30 for my manicure with Trish and pedicure with my homegirl Tina. Let's keep in mind I live 45 mins away. I got ready - sat in traffic - drove to Katy for this appointment giving deluxe a 5th chance to redeem themselves. I walk in - I see a new face - some young girl and another lady. I sign in at 1:33. The girl looks at me and says I'm sorry but Trish had an appointment at 2pm and the girl came early so she took her in. Excuse me??? My instant reaction was why did the receptionist not give me a call as soon as this happened? I asked for SPECIFIC nail techs and on the phone told her I can only see them or no one. Emily, the receptionist, said Trish would be about 30 more minutes. I calmed down and said ok fine I'll wait cus my nails are quick and don't take long. I do an overlay on my own nails with gel on top and it takes max 40 minutes. I chose my color, and head to the pedicure chair with my sister. 20 minutes into my pedicure - little Emily comes back and says Trish will take an additional hour if I can wait. Miss maam....an ENTIRE HOUR? this is when I go off on her and tell her she is u professional and needs to correct her mistake because this is not acceptable and I should have left the moment I walked in. She wanted me to basically sit at the nail salon all day and run a shift with her but just not get paid. She tells me she can find me someone else to do my hands and walks away. Emily never comes back. Instead - the older receptionist lady comes and tries to rectify Emily's mistake and I tell her she better go grab Emily so she can learn from this but she told me she did not want to face me. I honestly wanted to get up and curse Emily out but I didn't. I ended up getting my nails done from Tiffany - because she was the only one I have gotten my nails done from before that was available. I honestly hated my nails. I hate getting them done by Tiffany as well because she always looks so miserable and doesn't talk one bit. She gives mean girl vibes and she doesn't do a good job. At the end of my visit, I hated my nails. Hated my experience and wanted to go. No discount - no apology - nothing. I am about to check out and the girl never asked me if I wanted to use my points. Before I could even tell her she immediately swiped my card and when I told her - the idiot girl had nothing to say and apologized. At that point I told her she should find a different job cus her brain doesn't work. I spent $150 on ugly nails, ugly service, and there's a reason I stopped going to this salon a long time ago. The owner Brandon knows me and my sister very well because we were one of deluxe first clients when it opened. I've seen this place go to shit. Brandon once recommended I go to his other location - and when I did my nails pealed off the next day. I honestly hate this place. It's over priced for no reason - no nail tech lasts there - no one can properly run it - and honestly I will never go back. You'd have to pay me to return. read more

I had very high expectations for this salon, but they fell very very short. The only good thing was the guy at the front desk as the welcome was warm and inviting. My unhappiness was at the outcome of my nails. I should have known this was not gonna work out as she fumbled around and seemed unsure of things. Anyways I showed her the design I wanted , length, and shape via a photo. What I got was plain awful. The nails were misshaped and the the look was way off and not clean. they were very nice people, and that's why i feel bad by leaving this review. If you see in the photos, i got a french tip acrylic set with color powder. Instead of painting on the french tip with gel of shilac it was done with color powder. She chose not to shape my nail underneath before applying the color powder which left her with all different shapes of nails and crooked nails. The powder was piled on thick when she applied the pink base, and then very thin when applying the red tip which left my nails bumpy. My nails are not smooth and have weird bulges of powder. After my nails were done i knew the underneath of my nails felt dirty, but i did not know the extent until i turned my nails over and saw the amount left behind. Absolutely horrible, the lady who did my nails is Kristy. DONT EVEN GO TO HER. I asked for my nails to be regular length and she said if i wanted it longer i would pay $5 more. So she decided to make them as short as my finger nails, while my friend had a regular length for same price. When i proceeded to tell her it is not the same length as hers, she said hers is longer bc shes paying extra. Mind you my friend did not pay extra, she paid the same price as me. After I addressed her with my issue, she got upset and ignored me. Then i asked again and she said no then proceeded to get more aggressive with the nail filer until i started bleeding. I made an appointment and asked for a nail technician that would be GENTLE for a classic mani and spa pedicure. I have arthritis in my feet and need people to take their time and not hurt me. Well, the guy at the front desk gets me a technician who was NOT gentle at all. I had to ask 3 times for the lady to stop doing what she was doing to my toes: 2 times for being rough and fast with the nail file (you have somewhere better to be that you are in such a hurry when it wasn't even busy?), and 1 time to stop pinching my toe when doing whatever it is she was doing to my cuticle. I wanted just 1 person doing my mani-pedi, so the same lady did a fast, sloppy job on my fingernails, too. I could paint my nails better in the dark. The sides of nails are missing paint, and she didn't paint the edges to prevent peeling (already peeled on one finger). Sloppy work. I just wanted to be done and GTFO there because I was so irritated. Before the owner asks for me to talk to them.. I tried telling the guy at the front that I was not pleased and told him that she was not gentle, but he just says "sorry, that will be $51". Not good enough. Poor and insincere customer service. By the way, I still tipped the technician because it is the right thing to do (just in case they have kids to feed), but I won't be back. If you want permanently stained nails by all means stop in. We recently moved to the area and this nail shop is near our home. I received a full acrylic set on December 4. My nails began to break by the 3rd week and I began to notice that my real nails were yellow and orange stained where the acrylic was. I went in to have them taken off today to be told that not only did they not know how to remove the stains but i could just let them grow out and cut my real nails as they did. My nails are 3/4 stained, meaning I will have what looks like fungus fingers for months. The manager Googled and suggested getting baking soda paste, but didn't know how to address the issue in house. I showed him the exact powder I got on December 4 in their shop, and the only response was "we've never seen this happen". I spent over $200 at the initial visit on total services. I would def. request her next time. I requested Tiffani when I called in my appt because of Yelp reviews. It's hard to tell if the suggestions are paid props or not sometimes, but I'm glad to find that this one was legit. Tiffani did a wonderful job! I'm so picky about my nails. I don't mind paying or tipping whatever, but I want the job done to my liking. That's exactly what Tiffani did. The Dip Powder application was thin, but not paper-thin. Very natural-looking. She was not excessive and unnecessary with the cuticle clipper nor did she go crazy with the file, shaving down the majority of my nail. Just a classy edge up. As you can see in the pictures, there are no ribald lumps or hills from poor application. The filing is even. And best of all, she made me feel relaxed with her use of the electric file, which says a lot about her technique. I will definitely be returning. read more

The girls that did them (I had one for each service) seemed like they just didn't care. I am never disappointed when I visit deluxe nails and spa! I actually live in sugar land and when I can make it to the Katy area I will come here to get my nails done. I never feel rushed and my nail techs take their time whether it's a pedicure or Manicure. Yesterday, Megan gave me a full set of an ombre pink and white and my nails have never looked so good. She really took her time. She wanted to know how I wanted my nails to be shaped and she wanted to make sure that I was pleased with the job that she had performed. I was more than please my nails! The first time I went, they did a fantastic job on my nails. I got ombré for the first time and loved it! I went again this evening for another ombré set, and I am so disappointed! I thought once they were completed, they would look better, but unfortunately, that was not the case. They don't really have an "ombré"; instead, they have a crazy line right in the middle of the two colors. I used to love this place! I took my mom, dad , and boyfriend for Mother's Day and service was HORRIBLE. The ladies checking us in were cold, unwelcoming, and borderline rude. Even after we made a comment about their bad attitude they continued to stare us down. I had to make my pedicure lady AND my acrylic nail lady redo my nails multiples times as well as basically tell them how to do my nails. The lady doing my pedicure was sloppy and quick, missing the edges of my toe nails and kept saying "they are fine" and that she would "apply another coat". I told my manicure lady one of my nails was crooked and she said it was because I "didn't let her file" but I sat there for an hour and a half while she... filed (?). They were not even busy to excuse the attitude and the sloppy work. Never coming back. Additionally, my toes had SO many layers of nail polish from the lady over correcting her continuous mistakes that they got ruined when I put on shoes 2 HOURS after I left. Photo attached. I randomly came across Deluxe Nails and Spa on yelp and saw that they had a grand opening special with 30% off all services. Upon arrival, I was asked to fill out a paper with my name and the service(s) I wanted done. I came for an ombre full set with subtle sparkles and coffin shaped nails. The original price was $55 ($35 for color powder full set + $15 for ombre + $5 coffin shaped nails), but with the 30% off I ended up paying only 38.50!! During my visit, I was also offered a complementary drink. I had the strawberry daiquiri as my drink of choice. Note that if you want alcohol in your drink, make sure you request it! I had Barry as my nail technician and he couldn't have done any better. I am usually very picky when it comes to doing my nails, but Barry satisfied all of my requests. He made sure that I was happy with my nails and everything was perfect before leaving. He was also easy to talk to and made my visit enjoyable. All in all, I highly recommend Deluxe Nails and Spa. The service here is spectacular and the salon is beautiful. I love my nails and they are exactly what I wanted. I will be coming back for a pedicure soon. No complaints here! This place sucks. Don't believe the reviews! It's great if you like really basic nails. However I like fancy Instagram nails which you will never come close to here. They ask you at the front what you want done and they fail to relay the message to the technicians. My pedicure came out ok but my nail technician was rude and cold. I told I wasn't happy with my shape and she told me she was doing drilling right now. They are very short and not even at all. I was only offered water and coke while other women got wine. My daughter has a dance tonight and changed her mind mid mani and said she wanted tips. We apologized and said we'd pay for the mani and the tips of course. The guy up front gave us a hard time and had a terrible attitude. My husband walked in after getting his hair cut to get a pedi with us and the same guy gave him attitude. We spent $225 and tipped well, so I don't appreciate the attitude at all. You made money off of us, we are regulars and we apologized. We didn't deserve the attitude.
