She was WONDERFUL despite having to help me stumble my way through the process. She was patient, understanding, flexible, and communicated perfectly. Jump ahead to the actual service. Queen for a Day package is a 60 minutes facial, 60 minutes massage, body salt scrub, manicure, and pedicure. My friend said the massage she had was the best massage she'd ever had (and she gets loads, including regularly from a physical therapist). I went on their website to try and book and it was a little bit difficult for me, oddly. But when I reached out to the receptionist number it rang went to voicemail I left a voicemail and Got a text message from the appropriate massage therapist. Was able to book at a fair price. Everything went well from there, he was very receptive to my request since the Massage I booked was for someone else. Upon arriving the receptionist didn't ask if I had a booking immediately but I did tell her then she let us back to a little room that had refreshments and we were offered wine while we waited for our therapist. And once with the therapist he offered that I can come back as well to be with the birthday person. It was very calm in the room the lights were dimmed and he gave instruction on what article to remove and how much time in which he would be back and knock on the door to enter the room. I just came back from Myrtle Beach for 2 weeks in the sun and thought why not do the green clay treatment to help the dead skin come off and heal the new skin, that did not happen. The one thing that was in the green clay that was memorable was how cold I was from the large amount of menthol, or peppermint is what the esthetician stated, she was not sure. (tip: know your product). I did do my research prior and green clay is supposed to help with exfoliation, tightening of the skin, elasticity, brightening, and is supposed to be visible, I did not see any green clay or feel any tightening of my skin, but did feel extremely cold from the menthol. I would not do this again and felt it was a waste of $60. This is just my experience so hopefully if you try it it is a better experience. read more

This was my first massage experience. Ever. I felt this was the perfect treat for the end of a stressful work week. I arrived 15mins early to my 1030 appointment. There was some guy with an iPad standing outside and no way to get in. So I call them and let them know I had arrived to my appointment and there was also some guy outside waiting on them. Calvin comes out and opens the door, lets us both in. He leads me to the massage room and instructs me to undress to my level of comfort after he leaves and that he will knock when he comes back in. I do so. I'm lying on the table half naked for 10mins before he comes back in and tells me he has to wait for this guy to be done in case there is something he needs to sign for. I'm assuming it's some kind of repair being done? Anyway, I wait another 10mins. Nothing. At 1050, I finally decide this isn't happening. I had another appt at noon and this was SUPPOSED to be a 75min massage. Calvin was very apologetic and I do NOT blame him whatsoever. He was the only staff member on duty. This is poor management and scheduling. How can you only have ONE staff member on and NOT EVEN tell him they should be expecting a repair person??? I walked in and was greeted and shown to the waiting area. I waited quite sometime before the massage therapist greeted me and explained that she was finishing up and will come get me after sanitizing the room. About 15 minutes after my appt was scheduled to begin I was finally getting taken to a room for my salt scrub. That was very nice, a little odd that the shower was left running during the service but it's not my water bill. I sat waiting after my shower for some time and was taken to the massage room. The massage was ok but I had a gift certificate for a hot rock massage and hot rocks were not used, my fault for not saying anything but I didn't catch it. Then I was introduced and taken to the facial room. I sat on the table and it flipped backwards and I did a backflip off the table, I was so embarrassed I didn't say anything. The estetician kept saying because we have extra time I'm going to offer this service complimentary and then another service was also given. I'm not really sure why there was "extra time". The facial was very disappointing, I have definitely had MUCH better facials at other spas. I was "given" light treatment but really I was just put under a red light while the estetician cleaned up for approx 15. My spouse set me up with a pedicure and manicure. Initially, I saw some cheezy looking photos on-line and wasn't excited about the appointment, however, I was pleasantly surprised with the calm and serene setting when I stepped inside. The staff were cool and inviting. I was surprised to have a white woman do my nails. I wanted to be descriptive because I don't see that very often if at all. It was great because we could communicate and that we did. Krissy was the person that hooked up my nails and feet. I told her my feet are gonna break her back and she assured me "not a problem" with a smile. I like this woman already! My Yelp icon is of my old Ninja so Krissy and I vibed because she's a motorcycle rider I mean rida. ha! I like bikes too but she travels across the nation and into Canada rollin' on a very nice and cozy, 700+ pounds, low ridin' Harly. Krissy's space is clean with great energy. The room is very creative, private and with fresh everything.... Anyway, she professionally and expertly took care of all my fingernails. (why are finger and toenails called nails?) I wanted a basic manicure with no frills and Krissy took care of that. But it was my toenails, could a pedicure solve my lack of care for my feet? for gulp...decades (I'm being cheezy not that long...I don't want you to think I'm a sleazebag well not that people are sleazebags if they take forever to get a pedicure... I digress sorry I do that)... I was concerned with my feet as I knew they needed some work....no problem with Krissy! Krissy nipped, chipped, sawed and clipped my toenails into perfection...well as I see it...She even talked me into color and I swear my feet look and feel like new! Or maybe it was the hemp lotion? Unfortunately I have to say that my first time experience was not great. Had reached out on Facebook to get some recommendations for a good massage therapist who also deals with injury. Had a lot of recommendations but decided to chose a woman by the name of El who was very friendly and had a appointment that I could make it to. We go back and forth exchanging some information and I gave her my name, number and email to put in the system for my appointment to which I had confirmed by the end of the conversation. Come the day of my appointment, I arrive 10 min early to fill out paperwork and such. I was greeted by another therapist and asked if I had contacted El for my appointment. She then went to check and she was in fact not there. I had sent a text, which was now the time of the appointment, with no response. The lady who greeted me had then called her and then had El call me. At this point it was 15 after, and she had completely forgot about my appointment and wouldn't be able to come in until another 15-20. In her defense, she did try to remedy the situation, however I work on a pretty busy schedule and I have a surgery for early next week that I have to prepare for. I run a business and I find it very unprofessional and unreliable when someone doesn't show up to a scheduled appointment. Pretty bummed out. read more

El reached out to me due to some scheduling conflicts and was able to accommodate me and my husband for a couples massage for a different day/time. El massaged my husband and he loved it.
