A hidden jem of a place! You would think you are entering a spa, not a typical Dr. Office. Dr. DeWald and team are phenomenal. I was only walking by when I decided to inquire within. I was feeling beyond better after my 1st visit and decided to continue through one of their package programs (way more cost effective than single visit payments). They don't take insurance, but I don't care. I have this one body and elated to feel how I am feeling writing this review. Was a customer for years and they lost me to new policies and business practice. I had been coming to Dewald Chiro for years because the Dr. Is in my opinion, the best all around chiropractor in the area. The office management team is what left the bad taste. I being a small business owner myself, sometimes my schedule is hectic. I noticed I had a schedule conflict and had to cancel an appointment, so I set my notifications to call them as soon as they opened. When I called 8 hours before my appointment, I was told there will be a cancellation fee. This never being an issue before and not having any other option, I canceled. 2 weeks later I received a invoice for a 60 dollar cancellation fee. I email back telling them that if 60 dollar cancelation fee will be the new standard going forward for canceling an appointment 8 hours ahead of time, I won't be able to continue making appointments. I told them they can keep the 60 dollars as a parting gift. They attempted to make it right by refunding me the 60 dollars which was nice of them, until they charged me 300 dollars 2x a over the next 2 months ($600) for a service that they activated without me actually receiving any services. I didn't notice it until the second monthly charge and when I emailed them, they offered to refund one of the charges. So all in all they cost me 300 extra dollars for not getting services. I was in the past spending about the same monthly there. But cost me much more in aggravation. You might have a better time of it, but unfortunately did not end up being a good long term solution for me. read more

I'm loving this facility & staff. The Dr. is a no BS kind of guy, so if you don't like the truth, don't go. He went thru all of my concerns where I didn't feel rushed. He gave me a much needed adjustment, after first getting electrotherapy and a massage from one of his massage therapists. And we came up with a plan for my future visits, as I will be returning on a regular basis, for one or more of their services. He yelled at me. I'm 66 years old. I was terrified. After my amazing tmj massage his tech gave to me, She left the room and Mr Dewald came in shut the door. I was alone with him when I asked if I get a massage. I paid $30 extra. I didn't realize the TMJ massage was the half hour massage. I have insurance. He spoke loudly, do you think you didn't get your frickin money's worth!! Etc. His eyes were glaring behind his mask. He asked if I wanted an adjustment. He cracked my back and left. I won't be going back. He seemed unstable to me , fragile. From reading some of the negative reviews , I'm not the first person. He calls himself a doctor he's a chiropractor not a medical doctor. I was injured during a restraint working in a juvenile hall. I injured my L4-L5 disc and the doctors urged me to have an operation to repair it. The pain for a year was relentless but through physical therapy and supplement changes I was able to regain a portion of my health back but still lived with pain low to moderate pain every day and some days it would flare up again and I'd have to sit in my lazy boy chair for 3 days waiting for the pain to ease. Then Dr. Dewald offered me a free shockwave therapy session to see how it would work for me. Since the very first time I received the therapy my pain has been gone. I'm not going to ever have my health back the way it was before the injury but to not be in debilitating pain every day is an absolute blessing. Dr. Dewald and his staff are exceptional. When I first walked into his practice, I was in a lot of pain and using a cane due to a back pain flare-up. I could barely walk and had a lot of tightness on my entire back. The front office staff is very efficient and professional. Dr. Dewald and his team where very attentive when I explained what was going on and they truly gave me great care. I was afraid he wasn't going to be able to adjust me because of the tightness and pain but they had a more holistic approach. Before Dr. Dewald adjusted my back, they used a TENS unit, followed by a medical massage with cupping to help my muscles relax and relief some of the pain. Long story short, after the second session I could walk without a cane, still in pain but my mobility improved tremendously. I will be going back to his practice twice a month now. I have only visited this clinic once so far but as of now my experience has been positive. I had an afternoon appointment after lunch on a weekday. I arrived early to fill out my paperwork as requested. I was a little hesitant about getting treated as this is my third chiropractic clinic and they do things quite differently than the other two doctors I've visited (in other states). There is a lot of paperwork to fill out explaining their treatments, disclaimers, and possibilities of additional charges. It is quite thorough so be sure to read all of it. In the past I had seen chiropractors strictly for adjustments and occasionally for E-stim and a few other modalities. After my comprehensive exam with Dr. Dewald, I was given e-stim on my problem areas and then a massage by one of the assistants/practitioners. After that, I saw the doctor again for a quick adjustment. I feel a lot better after visiting even though it was a lot different than what I'm used to. Even with all the additional treatments, my copay was still the same. They charge a $1 card fee but they offered to add my balance on to my next visit so that I only had to pay it once. After shoulder surgery in September 2022 (tore 3 of the 4 rotator cuffs, and very painful) my surgeon said the recovery time was going to be 8 months to a year (of pain). had my first ever chiropractic visit today & it was awesome! already even booked my next! i recently found out my insurance covers a certain amount of visits per year, so i called last week for today's appointment. making the appointment & completing all the prior paperwork was very easy & straightforward. the location of the office was very easy to find. the environment inside was very peaceful & relaxing. & all the staff was very nice. Brooke was the therapist that helped me out prior to seeing Dr. Dewald. she was very sweet, caring, & the massage i received by her was amazing! i had some pretty rough knots in my traps & she did wonders getting them out! I went to Dr Dewald's a month ago with severe (debilitating) back pain. I have been seeing a neurosurgeon since 2012 for spinal injections to curb the pain in the L4/5 section of the spine in preparation for spinal fusion as there is a rather major misalignment in that area. I decided to try Dr Dewald to see if he could provide some manual adjustment to lessen the pain even though surgery is still a probability. Given my spine condition, he was hesitant to adjust my spine without an OK from the neuro. Quite understandable, so I had the E-stimulation and a deep massage. After I got the neuro's OK, I went back yesterday to let him know it was OK to crack away. I have to use a mobility scooter to get around but there was still constant severe pain. We started with the Estim and the massage and then the piece- de- resistance. Dr Dewald did two successful adjustments, but he then suggested that I first get some physical therapy to loosen up the muscles and strengthen my back before he would feel comfortable doing a further adjustment. I TRULY appreciate his concern for the best outcome for me and not just to have me keep coming back for what may not be a productive or safe manipulation. Surprise, surprise though, immediately after just the two adjustments, there was amarked reduction in pain and MUCH more flexibility. Dr Dewald is a fun guy, very communicative and actually concerned for his patients. The office has a very relaxed and somewhat "quirky" but fun atmosphere. They spend a lot of time on seasonal and humorous decorations and lighting to set your mind at ease. I highly recommend their services. I am anxious to return again for more incredible therapy. read more

Been going here on and off for years, has helped me with many issues, lower back pain , bicep issue from weight training. My son is having issues with an aggravated tendon below his knee, I called them up on Thursday and they got us in the next day, the process was so easy and smooth. Super friendly staff, the receptionist definitely knew how to do her job well, made me aware what was covered by my insurance, which is great because you don't have any surprises at the end. This is solely based on experience with scheduling a first time appointment. I called to schedule an appointment and I explained to the lady who answered the phone that I was a first time patient. She asked for my insurance information and gave me the option of scheduling an appointment or allowing her to run my insurance and then she'll call me back to schedule it. I went ahead and told her she could call me back after she ran my insurance so she could explain what my insurance allows. It is now one month later and I still did not receive a call back.
