The absolute best I've experienced in the Antelope Valley!! I was in desperate need of a good massage, my back hadn't felt right for a few weeks, I read many reviews and decided to give Relax Spa a try...so glad I did!! I actually had a massage at another spot just a few days ago, though it was pleasant, it did nothing to help the tension. I was a little apprehensive when I first walked in, but was immediately put at ease by their professionalism. They have you sign in and mark which service you would like and for how long, helps with confusion about pricing. I didn't get the name of the gentleman that was my masseuse, but he was AMAZING!!!! He was very knowledgeable about pressure points and did a great job of manipulating my tense muscles, the massage was slow and precise, not just rubbing all around, but focusing on an exact muscle and knot. The price was $48 for an hour full body massage, beyond reasonable, I normally tip a minimum of $15 when the price of the massage is so low, today I definitely tipped more. The only issue I had was that it was pretty cold in the spa, but the massage was so good that I will gladly deal with a little chill. NOTE: The negative reviews in regard to sexual assault almost prevented me from giving them a shot, I obviously can't speak to that Yelper's experience, but my experience with a male masseuse was completely professional. If you are a woman receiving a full body massage and you think you may feel uncomfortable with a man touching your lower back and bum, then I would definitely suggest requesting a female masseuse, you absolutely have that choice, you want to be as comfortable as possible. read more

This is my new GO-TO spot for massages. I recently moved in the area and found this place online. I have had 3 different people give me a massage, and they were all amazing! It's not as private as I am used to, but the customer service and massage techniques make up for it. Everyone is kind and seem to enjoy their job and take pride in what they do. Sometimes there is a child in the back that is loud and plays games and uses voice to text. It is disruptive, which is why I'm giving 4 stars. But hopefully it's not a normal thing and I just happen to be there at the same time coincidentally. read more

I've never had an issue here before... However, today was a different experience. I had a specific issue in my back that I was asking for the guy to concentrate on and there is a language barrier so I tried to help using my hand to show him. Totally did not help me. It actually feels much worse now. then when he was doing my legs and my feet, he literally did the same movement basically the entire time. I would jump because something hurt and put my hand up to stop and he just kept going. I seriously Wish there was a way that I could communicate with him Better to let him know that this was not a good job just so he knows for future customers. read more

This team of owners has been my go-to spot for years, know the owners since they first started in the AV Mall all exceptional masseuses. My most recent experience today has me thinking if the overall quality has diminished. I requested a 1 hr body massage but it only focuses on the back with a few minutes on the head. My arms or feet were not worked on and was never turned over. I asked for a sheet and instead had a towel where the masseuse massaged most of the first half with the towel on. Her technique was too simple compared to the others here. She is also a little more heavy set and walked on my back, however when she had her pressure on one leg on my upper leg, it was too uncomfortable and heavy. I asked for my massage to be focused more so on my neck and shoulders - she *still* massaged my lower back twice after asked not to. She also brought hot stones and one landed on my back where it was TOO hot. The music choice was also not helping to relax, playing 'My Sunshine' on repeat like a broken record. I recommend instrumental calming music. Didn't like the "body" massage nor this masseuse at all. read more

My husband and I came here for the first time today. Pretty good price rates for this part of town and we both got the combination packages- $40 for 30 minutes on the body/ $30 minutes for the feet. They have a lot of options, so you can either lie down for a full body massage, sit in a nice chair for a foot massage, or even sit in one of their regular massage chairs and just have your neck and back worked on. There are many areas of the body they can focus on. They also ask you your preference on a scale from 1 to 6, in regards to how hard or soft you like to be massaged, which is a huge plus. The set up of the space was nice, but they definitely need to tweak a few things in order for it to be a more relaxing environment. After my massage, I recommended to one of the employees there that they needed to lower the music. I think the music was from a CD that kept skipping or from her phone, and she was too far away from the speaker. Anyway, she justified the music being loud because there is a karate place located next-door. In order to drown out the noises of the sensei and students, they have to play the music loud. However, there haven't been classes in some time due to Covid, so the music could've definitely been lowered to make it tranquil and serene. This place also has bright fluorescent lights and it's hard to try to relax when you feel like you're in a CVS. read more

This is not meant to be a 1 star review and I will change it once someone reaches out. Just want to make sure I catch someone's attention. My son and I just went in to get massages. When we walked in the smell of cat pee was strong. We went ahead and got the massages but I almost immediately started to feel sick. I did have a horrible headache so I assumed it was from that. I asked for water and then had to lay on a bed. I had my masseuse rub my feet instead. A little while longer my son had to stop his massage because he was feeling sick. As soon as we were outside in the fresh air we started to feel better and we both had felt the same symptoms. I was unsure what was going on. We got home and I googled what smells can mimic cat pee and it said a Freon leak can. I also looked up the symptoms for breathing in Freon and it matched what we felt. I just want to make sure everyone is safe over there. Your massagers are great and this is my go to place. Once someone reached out I will change this to a 5 star. OMG!!! My back never felt so good. I asked for a level 7 intensity, and it was consistent the entire time. There were times I fell asleep. I didn't have to tell the masseur where my pain was. She did a quick rub with her hands and NAILED IT! SHE FELT all the Knotts and soar muscles. I literally can't stop bragging about this place. I wish I got her name. But, I think she's the owner. I loved my experience here! I called the number and it went to voicemail so I didn't leave a message but got an immediate text asking if it was okay to text because of language barrier. Sold! I hate talking on the phone so texting for an apt is a huge plus. I got one hour body massage and 40 minute foot massage. You keep your clothes on I wore loose clothing with arms and upper back exposed and a sports bra. The stones were perfectly placed around my tank top when arranged to accommodate. I was not asked about pressure and saw other reviews saying they were able to pick 1-6/7 I would have picked 1or 2. It was deep tissue for sure I'm sore already and it was too deep but I felt like I couldn't communicate that(personally because I'm a nervous nelly) regardless I still give a 5 because it was perfect for my back pain and to really work pressure points. The foot massage was the BEST. Never paying for extra time at a pedicure again I'll just come here because it was great. They cover you with a blanket and your eyes during foot massage. I was laying down totally relaxed. This part was HEAVENLY. I will ask for light pressure next time but I loved this place they accommodated me same day and took walk ins but I recommend texting them. I got my massage from the person who is pictured in another review and he was professional. I have had more massages than I can count from the Hilton to hole in the wall and he was fine except not asking about pressure. I honestly like the glute pressure as I feel that it helps with my lower back pain and it was not inappropriate at all I felt safe and relaxed especially with the curtain to my section open and my clothes on. there is no privacy in this place at all, its just massage tables with division to put them apart , no curtains or whatsoever, so if somebody walks in they can see everything thays not covered by a towel, you're all exposed, i was facedown, bare back all the way to half of my booty and i hear all this walking and talking to my therapist at the time and there is chairs right infront of me, where they do the foot massages, they can easily watch me like a movie.. on top of that i woke up more hurting and uncomfortable than before i walked in to get relaxed, it wasnt sore (i had massages before) this was pain and felt swollen like i was beat up not massaged on my upper back to the back of my neck read more

Was reluctant at first but the after effects were great. I have had quite a few deep tissues massages where they basically get on top of you to get the knots out and normally the next day my kidneys even hurt. But not from here. It was wonderful relieved All the stress in my back and shoulders and for a changed no negative after effects. Alex does get pretty much on top of you to push and relive knots but there is nothing odd about it. He does what it takes to apply the pressure where needed. The numbing in my hands is almost gone.
