I was really in need of a massage, so after reading a couple different reviews for this establishment I decided to give them a try. The absolute Worst mistake ever!!!! First off, I called to see if walk-ins are welcomed, or if I needed to make an appointment. A lady answered the phone and told me I needed to make an appointment, which was no problem whatsoever. She scheduled me for an hour and a half later (4pm). She told me a couple times not to be late, which is completely understandable. So I was five mins early. I show up, and the place is empty. She had me sit/lay on this red chair and walked away. About five mins later a older guy (looked to be in his mid 50s) comes over and places a bucket of water under my feet, and then places my feet in the water. He then places a towel over my eyes which is normal, and begins to rub my arms in a fast motion... I didn't say anything as I thought maybe he was warming up before the actual massage. However, he continued on for about 10 mins. It was basically as if he was petting a cat... extremely soft and not steady at all (which a massage should feel consistent to say the least). Then after he finishes with my arms, he goes down to my feet, takes them out the water, and places them on a towel. He dries them, and then puts a bunch of watery lotion on them. After that he starts rubbing my feet soooooo softly that I started to get frustrated (in which I held in because I don't like conflict). He then uses this small brown wooden stick with a round ball like end to push into my foot!! Like seriously!?!?! Why would you use a wooden stick on my feet with lots of lotion knowing it's going to slip and slide!? Potentially causing pain? Which was the case for me! I was clenching the whole time! He went from doing that, to touching each toe for about 7-8 mins. As soft as he possibly could! It was clear he didn't want to massage me, or he didn't want to be there. After he finished my first foot, he moved on to the next... He started doing the same exact thing, and all I could think about was the fact that I was going to pay $40 plus a tip, for something that my seven-year-old sister could've done. So I decided to speak up. I asked him not to use that wooden stick anymore because it was causing me pain, and he told me that it's harder than his knuckles. But I didn't pay to have some stick pushed extremely hard into my foot!!! I'm paying to actually be massaged! Are you kidding me? What the hell!? He then dropped the stick on the floor and started pressing extremely hard on my leg and foot for about 5 mins, Before he tells me to turn over onto my stomach. Then he starts pressing extremely hard all on my backside (back, legs, neck). He kept breathing with annoyance which started to upset me because I wasn't rude to him at all, even though it was more than clear he had no actual training in the field he chose to work! He more than half-assed my entire experience. He slapped me pretty hard to tell me the service was over! As I was turning back over he takes my shoes out of the basket and drops them on the floor. I almost lost it, but still kept my composure! When I get to the register he asked me "how much?" I was putting on my card... I then asked him "how much was the service?" He told me the price... so I then told him to put that amount on my card. He snatched the card out of my hand, printed out the Receipt, and after I signed it he said something in his Language with a very nasty undertone! I just walked out. I will NEVER come back to this place! Ever. Even if they have other workers who are decent. He made my experience so uncomfortable, and had the Audacity to treat me rudely before I left... So I went to have a relaxing massage but ended getting stressed and disappointed. The asian lady who did the massage was harsh in asking for a tip. I told her $10 tip but she charged me with $12. I didn't argue about it anymore coz it was only few dollars more but you don't take advantage of your customers if you want good recommendations. Also, the staffs talk so loud like they are arguing while doing the massage . I definitely not going to recommend this to my friends, coworkers and family. Not a chance. I love this place! It's the best $20 massage you can get in the AV! It is an open room so there is some noise and sometimes the workers talk a little so if you're looking for a fancy or quiet place, this isn't it. Everyone is so sweet and they all do a great job! During our one hour massage the woman's young daughter came in and out of the area multiple times. The owners carried a conversation on speaker phone and they also spoke throughout the entire massage. She massaged my face and to my surprise the lotion smelled like fish (later realizing it was her breath). When I asked for my heal to be massage they had no clue what I was talking about. The woman did not massage but more so patted and pet my shins. Worse massage ever!!! Despite them raising the price by $15.00 (under new management) they still press you for a tip. The place was creepy and they will try to scam you!! They tried to say the price for an hour combo massage was $70 and I showed them on the paper it clearly said $50. Right off the bat they were trying to get one over on me. The lady who massaged my friend kept leaving her to go to the front, so my friend didn't even get the full hour. My second trip to this Spa. This time i came with multiple injuries from a fall. I showed with no appointment and was face down on the table in 10 minutes. My clothes never left the room and i had cash in my pocket that was all there when i left. Great massage with extra time spent on my injured areas.With injuries it was very difficult to dress. I was massaged by a man that had never massaged me before. He pulled my underwear down! He proceeded to massage my buttocks for 30 minutes. I was scared. I was being violated and it's like I lost my voice, I couldn't say anything. It was finally over and he left the room and I pulled my underwear back up. He asked me to turn over and I rolled onto my back. He massaged my quads, he went so hard, 2 days later, I'm still sore. He asked if he could rub my inner thigh (slightly above my knee), I said yes. He then moved up to my genitalia. I screamed to stop!! I was naked, yelling for the women to come in the room to help me. They both acted like they didn't know what I was saying! I asked for someone who spoke English. The man left the room, I'm naked, trying to put on my clothes, the woman is there with her phone calling another woman. She also acts like she doesn't know what I'm saying. They made me pay, asked for a tip! I call the police as soon as I step out of happy foot. I'm crying, asking for help. The man flees happy foot before the police show up! The two women in happy foot say they "just hired him that day and that they don't even know his name".. there is an ongoing police investigation. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I was sexually assaulted! I am posting this with the only hope that I will save other women from being completely decimated emotionally from something like this!! Upon further investigation with the police and with a layer that works with sexual assault victims at massage establishments- there is NO REGULATION ON MASSAGE THERAPISTS! California does not require anyone who touches your naked body to be licensed, certified, insured, vetted, non sec offenders- there's is no protection for anyone walking into get a massage. This place is great! The building has a relatively open concept, separated by curtains. The lighting is appropriate and there's calming music. The people will answer phone calls or talk to people coming inside the building during your appointment. But it's $20 to get an HOUR LONG wonderful foot massage with a little bit of upper body at the end. You get what you pay for. Just be sure to make an appointment, or else you risk walking in on other people and then have to wait. The foot massage includes an upper body massage as well, which was great, especially because I wasn't looking forward to getting my upper body massaged was well. Great prices & service! Quite surprised to see this one on Yelp. I visit this massage place for already many times. This is the only foot massage place I like in Lancaster. Two reasons: 1. price is awesome! 2. the service is great! A man called mike gave me the massage and he is very powerful. After the massage, my foot feels so light and I go there every weekend. Interestingly, they have this card which I get stamped after every massage. If get 10, can get one for free! I just redeemed one and will work hard to get another one free soon! read more

I called and made an appointment for a 90 minute appointment. When I got in there they said they could only do 60 in the chair/60 on the bed. I wanted the chair massage, instead I had to have the massage on the bed and while getting the massage she said they could do 90 minutes. So the woman was too rough.. I told her it was too rough several times and she kept doing it hard or harder. The whole time I was on my stomach. She never turned me over for the whole 90 minutes!! It was terrible! Ive been sore for days after. I always went to Happy Foot in Santa Clarita and was very happy but this place is terrible not to mention that you have to talk about your appointment in front of everyone no one is near the front desk. After finishing with the fantastic foot massage, they lower the chair back and you are asked to flip over on your stomach for them to work your back. Nice surprise! What makes this place so much better than others is the skills and intuition of the massage therapists (owners?) My husband is DEFINITELY a massage snob. He's gone through countless therapists just in our hometown alone. The male owner worked on me while the lady worked on my husband. I generally enjoy a lot of pressure but have sensitivity and low pain tolerance in certain areas. Most therapists, once discovering this issue, usually go easy on the overall pressure for fear of hurting me. This is usually better than the alternative, which is asking for more pressure and risking them hurting me AGAIN in sensitive areas, so I'm usually fine with it. Of course, it also makes the whole experience less enjoyable. My therapist at Happy Foot was very perceptive to discomfort and slight flinching. He could sense exactly my comfort level in different parts of my body even without me saying anything. After a while, he gained my trust and I was able to relax knowing I was in good hands. The whole massage was just right. Deep pressure in areas I enjoy and less so on the sensitive parts. My husband loved his therapist as well and thought she was very skilled, which is a miracle in itself!!! To top it all off, the massages are EXTREMELY reasonably priced. This review is for the foot massage only (which I guess is their default massage unless you specify any other) My favorite little place to have a quick "getaway" with my mom (other than getting our nails did)! She and I love it here because the staff are so friendly and kind... And they accept cards (unlike some other place we know *cough*)!! You don't have to worry about taking off your clothes or anything. You just gotta sit down in a comfy chair with your shoes and socks off. So I guess that kinda contradicts the part about the clothes, but whatever. Don't expect a super lavish place with marble or granite all around and a crazy serene setting. There are just recliners and curtains and a little TV that plays relaxing sounds. It sounds weird, but don't be judgmental. It's super clean and for the price, everything else is worth it. I guess what I'm saying is, if you're gonna be snooty, then don't go here and complain about it OR just suck up your high-maintenanceness. $20 for the foot massage gives you a short head/upper body massage for about 15 minutes. I'm not really positive about the time cuz I'm half asleep by then. After that, they concentrate on your feet and legs which feels like forever -- but in reality it's probably another 35-40 minutes. They top it off with a nice back rub. If you wanna knock out while getting rubbed down, this is definitely the place. Probably not the best place to go if you're uber ticklish, but that's just my assumption. read more

The gentleman said no problem . I get there and they told me they couldn't take care of me because I was 5 minutes late. Which is why I told them and approximate time. Yeah, the $40/hr for a massage is cheap but NOT WORTH IT! At one point he was literally just holding my foot and rocking back and forth. Basically they rub you, rub you some more, and then rub you while applying pressure. I went with my boyfriend, his experience was the same as mine. I went because I was having back spasms and needed relief. The man was sick, I was waiting for snot to dribble on me. All he did was kneel on the table and apply direct downward pressure into my body. There was no massage included. Literally just applied pressure and rubbed. The worst foot massage place I have been to. Lets start. Its freezing in there. Your feet and hands are cold the whole time. The lady's hands are so cold. They only massage the sides of your feet the whole time. They dont even add more lotion or oil. So basically its just friction. Then she kept digging her nails in my foot. They spend max 2minutes on your arms and head. I looked at the time. I have never experienced a foot massage like this place does them. First and last time i go there.
