Their coffee is good, though they don't offer many specialty flavor options if that's what you're looking for. We're still mourning two of our all-time favorites that have been discontinued: the homemade donuts every Sunday and the mushroom toast. Birchwood, please bring them back!

Their baked goods and other foods are incredible as well -- I really recommend the quiche! It's a super cute atmosphere, and there's tons of seating. It's a good place to meet friends and hang out, have an afternoon date, or study/work from. Not many places can say all 3, but this place definitely can!! And of course, I had to get an espresso drink, so I opted for their seasonal special, pumpkin spice latte. The cheese plate came out first and it was such a treat. It contained a variety of rich and creamy cheeses made by the rebel cheese brand and they all had their own unique flavor notes. I also loved that it came with olives and grapes, which added a nice Mediterranean vibe. My pumpkin spice latte also was creamy and decadent and the oat milk was frothed to perfection. The espresso was fresh and the pumpkin flavor was well balanced. The sunshine Sammie truly was like eating sunshine. The roasted tofu and mushroom bacon were savory and hearty and well seasoned while the cheese melted into it nicely. The chili crema sauce really took it to a whole other level with a smooth and creamy texture and just the right amount of spiciness to meld everything together. We took some dessert home to go, some cupcakes and whoopie pies and they were so moist and had flavorful and just the right amount of sweetness. I never would have guessed they were vegan! I cannot wait return to this lovely place on my next trip to the Boston area!

They also sell ground coffee & pods from Saxonville Mills Coffee Co. I've stopped by the Marlborough location a few times for coffee and food. I've enjoyed their Turkey & Cheese Croissant, Sweet Corn & Cheese Arepas, Cinnamon Bun (not frosted), Blueberry Scones, and Hot Black Coffee.
