Came here to get my nails done on a Saturday morning before my moms wedding. The price was good -- $40 for ombré nails (acrylic) and an extra $5 for coffin. The nail tech took her time and was so sweet.. she did a great job from what I could tell. Later that day, I started experiencing some intense pain on my nails and it was so bad I couldn't handle it and needed ibuprofen to fall asleep. I don't know if this was due to her filing my nails down too much but they were so sore. The next day I started noticing black little bubbles on my nails. Never had that before, and when I contacted them -- they were so sweet. They had me come in that day and were so apologetic and fixed them in about 5 mins. Not sure I'll go back, but I did enjoy the experience in the shop. They are definitely great at customer service. read more

Horrible service, I have gone here many times, but this last time was horrible charged me double what I usually pay. The quality is horrible. They did my 8 year olds nails and toes in shellac and it came off the next day all of them, after paying 59 dollars. Yes they charged 59 dollars just to paint Mr 8 year old toes and nails. Make sure you ask how much it will be before getting anything done at this place. I walked out paying 169.00 and I normally pay 100.00. Horrible place I won't be going back! i went here last night to get my eyebrows waxed before new year's eve . i used to always get my brows waxed like every month and this was my first time at this place. it didn't hurt too much when she peeled the wax off but when she was done and added some liquid it started to burn a lot. she just told me i had sensitive skin but my pain tolerance isnt even like that. i got home and my skin was burning to the max i applied aloe vera and ice and today i woke up with a horrible scar . my whole skin was basically took off. read more

Ugh, why did I start with the nails again? Hunting for a place that I love. Have been here before, but maybe they have raised their prices? $30 for a refill? She practically took all of what I originally had off, and used the machine to file three separate times before the powder! The end result? Thicker than I like and took twice as long for the procedure as my friend. I always have to re-shape when I get home because I can't seem to explain that I want a slightly rounded top, not flat across like the square shape. Place looks pretty clean, and definitely no wait at 5:30pm on a Monday. Would consider coming back for a pedi, since it is near the house, but need to find a new refill place. As a side note, my friend liked her shape, but I did not like it at all. Uneven and too pointy round. read more

I got a great refill and pedicure, BUT the owner is insane. Although they had a sign on the door that said they accept checks, they would not accept. I had left my purse at the house as I was just dropping my daughter off at chuch for bible study. The owner locked me in the store and wouldn't let me leave unless I got someone to bring cash or credit card. I called the HCSO and a sheriff had to come to get me out. Absolute insanity.... After waiting for an hour with my feet in water to get a pedicure, the worker started working on my feet with the rubber gloves on and then moved over to the next person to work on her feet without changing the gloves and then tried to come back and work on my feet. Found this place today and was very pleased I did. I've gone to almost all the nail salon in the area and this was the best. I only had a pedicure today but she did an excellent job and made sure I was happy with everything even the shape. They are a huge wall of the colored powders for other services as well. Really disappointed with the manicure and pedicure I just had done. It was very hurried, not a lot of scrubbing, my polish is all over the place...just not a good job at all, but passable. My manicure is really, really bad- I can't salvage this one! About to go and get them done somewhere else and spend another 20$. It is Sunday, and from reading the other reviews it looks like Sunday is not the day to go to Serene, but the owner was there, in the chair next to me, and saw me ask my technician to touch up the job. She seemed very nice, as was my technician, and i was seated right away and offered something to drink, but the work done was far from decent. So, I'll give them 2 stars for customer service, but none for my nails. Bummer:( read more
