Touristy but absolutely so fun! We went here late night for frozen hot chocolate and chicken strips. The strips were FIRE. Atmosphere was lively just have to go once!

This is such a fun spot but very pricey. Would recommend for a special occasion or when visiting the area. We had burgers and a chicken sandwich and they all were good. The hot chocolates and sundaes are large enough to share. Our server was great. There was a little wait when we first arrived but there's a fun seating area for waiting.

Kinda run down, WAY OVERPRICED and lackluster quality. $20 for a frozen hot chocolate with no taste and a mountain of whipped cream. Kids tenders were tiny, tasted like old fish grease. Onion rings were the saving grace. Server was really nice.

Best place to grab a bite to eat and dessert! The ice cream flavors are unbelievable, and the sundaes are absolutely amazing. So many choices and everything tastes incredible. This is definitely a destination spot you have to try!

Serendipity 3 is so much fun! The service, fun decor, creatively named dishes, and delicious treats brought a smile to our faces. I treated a couple of my students to an afternoon treat after a morning of shopping recently. We shared truffle parmesan fries, they shared the Blueberry Deluxe Waffle Sundae, and I had the Mint Frozen Hot Chocolate. Yum! Kae took care of us, and we had a great time.

Not as cute as the original, but it's in Times Square, so as expected. Still. Super delicious. Insanely huge portions and a taste and dessert that you can't get elsewhere. We didn't bother with the food. Just frozen hot chocolate is why you come. Our server was great. Hosts were fast. All around a fun experience

We came to Serendipity for the frozen hot chocolates, of course! We got them to-go. We ordered with Dani, who didn't seem to be familiar with the menu at all. When we asked if the coconut one came with coconut shavings, they just said "I don't know". I had to really press and ask if we could get another employee before Dani finally looked it up on the tablet and confirmed the ingredients. Then, Xio brought out the two drinks. One was dairy and one was non dairy and Xio seemed confused about which was which. When we tried to clarify which was which, Xio was rude and said "I'm aware. I'm aware". It was a super strange experience and I'll never be back. I would have given 1 star based on the terribly rude employees but I gave 2 because the drinks were pretty yummy.

I stopped in to try the ferris wheel of appetizers and the Dubai Frrrozen hot chocolate and it was so good! The apps were fresh and delicious. Buffalo nuggets, truffle fries, mozz sticks and dumplings. Ranch dressing is the best I've had in the city. Now let's talk about the Dubai Frrrozen hot chocolate! I loved that it wasn't overly sweet, a delightful balance between rich and light. It came topped two thick pieces of a Dubai chocolate bar, gold flakes and fluffy layer of whipped cream and pistachio.

An iconic NYC restaurant since 1954 with 2 locations (looking for a third?!) and this perfect spot in the bustle of Times Square. It's making food fantasy dreams come true with imaginings like Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, 5 kinds of Mac n Cheese, and the Infamous Truffle Burger. I opted for balance with the Monet Salad (heaping arugula, fresh strawberries, candied walnuts, and tangy blue cheese with a perfectly acidic balsamic vinaigrette). Liliana was thoughtful and friendly, adding to the fun atmosphere. Cannot miss their extensive list of Hot Chocolate - a classic Serendipity for me! Thick, rich, extravagant - satisfies for days! Whether you grab a Shirley Temple for the kiddos or a celebrity sighting in an enclave, it's all delightful in magical threes at Serendipity! #warholwashere

This is on my NYC list of must visit whenever I go there. We are enjoying the frozen hot chocolate on this visit and as you can see... The menu is absolutely hilarious, check it out for a giggle or two. The atmosphere is exactly what an ice cream parlor should look like. Definitely add it to your list when you next visit NYC!

I loved Serendipity as a kid and I really just felt like this wasn't the same. Still good! Don't get me wrong but not as good. We got a cookies and cream frozen hot chocolate and the banana and Nutella waffles. The waffles were delicious! It's always the most fun and cute inside serendipity so I was glad to see that consistent here in this location. The service was great! We showed up at 10:20 and they treated us just the same as any other time. Love it!

Came to Serendipity 3 purely for the nostalgia -- my friend and I had to check off the bucket-list spot from the movie Serendipity (the one with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale). Mission accomplished on that front: the place is every bit as quirky, colorful, and over-the-top cute as you'd hope. Tiffany lamps, random knick-knacks everywhere, pure rom-com energy. We split the famous Frozen Hot Chocolate because... when in Rome, right? Honestly, it was a letdown. Tasted like someone dumped an entire shaker of cinnamon into chocolate syrup and called it a day. Overwhelming spice, oddly gritty texture, and way too sweet even for dessert lovers. At $20+ for basically a fancy milkshake we didn't finish, it felt like we paid for the photo op more than the drink. If you're here for the vibe, the people-watching, and the "I did it for the movie" selfie, it's worth a visit once. Just maybe order something else (or skip the Frrrozen Hot Chocolate altogether). Cute spot, iconic for a reason, but the signature item was a hard pass for us.

On a trip to NYC for my daughter's 13th birthday we went to Serendipity3 for the World Famous Frozen Hot Chocolate. We had a reservation at the Times Square location. We were going just for dessert and decided to order the Truffle Parmesan Fries too. The restaurant is very bright and has lots of bold colors. There is a disco ball ceiling in the main dining room, which is fun. To get to the main dining room you walk down a hall way that has small intimate booths on the left and the right. I wish we had one of those booths, our experience might have been a lot different. We were sat in the main dining room at the very end of a long booth. It felt like they added a small table where it didn't belong. My daughter sat in the booth and I was in the chair across from her. My chair was clearly in the way of the servers getting to the other tables. I was constantly getting bumped. It was raining outside so I had a rain jacket on my chair that must have fallen off at least 5 times. The main dining room is also very loud. I think it was a combination of the acoustics in the room and it being very busy but it was hard to have a conversation. It was also very hot. A lady came around taking pictures and tired to get you to buy them as a souvenir. I get it, it's New York, Time Square location, it's a tourist place...but don't act annoyed when we say no. We came for a birthday dessert and don't want to be shamed because we didn't buy a photograph. That bugged me that the lady acted frustrated with us. Thankful the Frozen Hot Chocolate was fun. We went with the original, but they do have 13 different flavors of the Frozen Hot Chocolate and tons of other desserts. The Truffle Parm Fries came out slightly burnt, but they still tasted okay. My daughter was dipping them into the frozen hot chocolate which made her happy and that's all the mattered. Like I mentioned above had we dinned in one of the private small 2 top booths in the hallway I bet our experience would have been better. It was all about the location for me and I felt stuffed into a space that didn't fit. It was hard to enjoy.

Bartenders were cool and drinks were good. Because it was a Sunday and it was pretty busy, we decided to get a table before the restaurant filled up. The waiter was super cool and did not rush us while we waited at our table. I got the braised short rib mafaldine and I gotta say it was one of the better pasta dishes I have eaten in a while. Very thick and flavorful sauce along with the nice texture of the mafaldine pasta and nice and tender meat made this such a great dish. Very generous portion size, too. Even when we were finished and we stayed and talked a bit, we weren't rushed by the waiter and he let us continue to stay and talk. That was pretty cool of him. Also came by several times to drop off water and check if we needed anything else. Some negatives are that the place is pretty dark and kind of cramped. It is also pretty loud, so you will need to speak pretty loudly to be heard at your table. Overall, I loved the braised shot rib mafaldine. My friends also liked their dishes, which included the steak, late night spaghetti, and Mediterranean salad. If I'm back in the area, I will be sure to come back here.

The DJ was underwhelming and the bathroom was vile. The most pleasant part was the below average $20 drinks. For an expensive, well-known spot, this was a very poor experience.
