Traveling through Mobile and stop here for a quick pick me up. It's a cute little shop and the service was great. The down side was they were out of things that we wanted to order. I ended up going for an ice raspberry coffee... not great didn't taste anything but regular coffee. My husband got the mango monsoon smoothie. That was good had to substitute the pineapple in the original smoothie for bananas because they were out. Still tasted really good. My husband also got a cinnamon roll. Unfortunately the cinnamon roll was not great. It was hard as a rock. They didn't even warm it up the frosting that went with the cinnamon roll was fairly good but couldn't get over eating a rock. read more

This place gets busy quickly, so highly recommend you call ahead to place your order or beat the morning Rush which usually kicks off around 8:00 a.m. even more so on the weekends! Great breakfast options with lots of different beverages from teas, cocoa's and coffees. I might as well add that they do run out of food items if you come later on in the morning. Excellent coffee and breakfast sandwiches! Recently, they renovated which significantly upgraded and modernized it, looks great and all the chairs and booths are comfortable again. Service is always on hand but never quite expedient with their work. In particular if you want an iced or frozen drink prepare to wait at least 15 minutes while all the hot coffee drinks move in and out within 3 minutes. On a roadtrip we took the time to find a local coffee shop. We went out of our way to backtrack to eat local. The place was very nice and lots of customers. The service was very friendly as well. The bagel breakfast sandwich consisted of a processed tiny sausage patty, processed egg and cheese. It was very disappointing. I expect a fresh made breakfast sandwich. It's not difficult and they have a cook. I ordered a 3 shot espresso macchiato and it came in the tiniest one shot espresso cup. I told the employee I ordered 3 shots and he said it was three shots. It was a two sip drink. It was very good. We then ordered a drip coffee to go and it was awful. It was tasteless, no aroma and gas station coffee is better. Very cute place. read more

I was tired of Hampton Inn breakfast after three days, so I admit a low bar, but decided to walk across the street. When I saw what looked like coffee only I asked if they had somewhere that served eggs and bacon, and she said they had a bagel and burrittto. This place took on the Mardi Gras crowds with determination and a smile. On the last Saturday of Mardi Gras, this place was already busy at 9 am when my friend and I walked in. Located right in the heart of downtown, it is a great place to stop if you need a coffee, tea, or quick lunch. Though the line took long to go through, I have no complaints. The young lady taking my order was patient and answered all of mt questions. She also was polite when she told me espresso drinks would take longer, as their machine was running slow that morning. When I finally got my drink (which took half the time than what she told me), it was great. I ordered a large, iced king cake latte (latte with hazelnut and cinnamon bun syrups). It had coffee ice cubes, which was a cool and nice surprise. It was the perfect drink I needed to give me a boost through all the parades that day. My daughter had the white chocolate raspberry latte and really enjoyed it. I had a white chocolate latte and it was fine. The bagel was okay, nothing special. They gave one tiny container of cream cheese with it. Needed two. My daughter enjoyed her bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich. Appears to be a dog friendly place. Service was incredibly slow. I typically have a wait time of at least 5-20 min for coffee or lunch -- I have avoided going due to wait times over the past few months. Today my wait time for my coffee and a toasted bagel was maybe 2/3 min. (I wish I had timed them) Bailey and Eleanor were friendly, quick, and efficient. Awesome Job!! read more

I didn't try the coffee so I'm just rating on gelato and the service. The service was so slow and inept. We waited ten minutes for the cashier to ring up the couple (two people) in front of us. We ordered peanut butter cup gelato and the server didn't get a single peanut butter cup in the scoops. No attention to detail. But okay, we still went to eat the plain gelato and it had clearly been thawed and refrozen with a texture like sand. It was actually inedible. I've been here many, many times, and I am a huge fan of both a) iced caramel macchiato with coffee cubes and b) an iced coffee with caramel syrup, coffee cubes, almond milk and a shot of espresso. Nearly all of the staff I've encountered here have been super friendly! I stopped into this downtown coffee shop which was fairly busy for a weekday afternoon. Parking was a breeze since I found 1 of 2 spots near the front of the business which didn't have parking meters or "No Parking" signs, wow! I just got an order to go and didn't spend a lot of time studying the menu but as recommended by many yelp users, I added the coffee ice cubes to my iced latte which was pretty cool. I really like Serda's! I work in the RSA tower and walk over sometimes during my lunch. The staff is very friendly. The shop is super welcoming and I love the blueberry muffins. Atmosphere: Serda's is a cute coffee shop in Downtown Mobile that is a great place to casually meet up with friends or get some work done. Service: Our barista was friendly, and our drinks came out quickly. Food: We ordered a Cold Brew and Iced White Chocolate Mocha. The Cold Brew was nothing special, probably being one of the weaker cold brews we've gotten from a coffee shop. It was a bit too mild for our taste but still somewhat refreshing. The Iced White Chocolate Mocha was extremely watered down, making it difficult if not impossible to taste any chocolate flavor or sweetness. It essentially tasted like a cheap latte with no additional flavoring. Overall: We wanted to love Serda's because it has been highly recommended to us as one of Mobile's best coffee shops, but their coffee unfortunately did not impress us. We would maybe come back to try some of their other items in hopes of having a better experience, but with slightly lower expectations for next time. read more

I came here mardi gras weekend with some friends for breakfast. waited in Line for close to 30 minutes only for them to tell us the entire kitchen is closed. if they were trying to reduce traffic in there restaurant by closing the kitchen you think they would put up some kind of sign instead of allowing a line to form out the door just to tell people when we get to the counter. also with an 88 health rating i have to wonder if the kitchen was closed for other reasons. awful management in my opinion. read more
