I grabbed a drink from here for fuel to start my drive back up to Huntsville. This is a beautiful coffee shop with a nice patio. The decorations and overall vibes are super nice. Bright, airy, modern. The clientele is bougie enough that I felt a little out of place, lol, but I still enjoyed being there. I had a little bit of a hard time figuring out their menu. Signage is kind of limited and small, clustered on a counter which isn't easy to see if there's a line. I later found on their website that they have "local fave lattes," many of which sounded better than what I wound up ordering. I wish they'd been listed on a menu that I saw. At any rate, I decided on a shaken brown sugar latte. The employee who took my order was adequately if not effusively friendly. There were several young women working hard behind the counter to accommodate the large volume of orders. It took a bit for me to get my drink, but within a reasonable amount of time considering how busy they were. I thought the price was maybe a smidge high for the size of the drink, but what else is new these days? I got my drink and headed to my car. Overall, it was just okay. My first sip was a huge overly sweet mouthful of brown sugar; I don't think it was mixed super well. I moved my straw up and got a second mouthful of mostly milk. Then I used the straw to mix the drink myself and gave it a few gentle swishes with my hand. That helped some. This was a decent brown sugar espresso, but even after I mixed more thoroughly, it was still on the overly milky side for my preferences. Again, I wish I'd seen a different latte option to order. I think I might've liked a different flavor combination more. When I eventually return to the Gulf, I may give them another try and get something more up my alley. I enjoyed the modern, sunshiney, beachy vibes and would like to sit on the patio and enjoy a coffee when time permits. read more

Coffee was fine, but service was horrible. As soon as I walked in door, I placed order for chai latte and avacodo toast. Toast was ready in 4-5 min. After 15 min went up and asked if they missed my order and the lady quickly said 'coffee orders are 30 min'. Same lady I ordered with. The point of the story - if you're taking 30 min to complete coffee orders, you have to tell the customer when placing the order not after they are waiting. We had to leave to get to appt. read more

We went to Foam today. We thought the vide was SUPER cute. A huge line which looked really promising. We got to order and asked for a carmel vanilla latte with cold foam. We asked the man taking orders if it was going to be sweet and he said yes. It was $17.30 for 2 coffees. I understand that small businesses have to charge more. And don't get me wrong, I love supporting small businesses. But when the coffee came out it tasted very very burnt. The cold foam even did as well. Coffee itself was 4/10. Im so happy we stopped here before heading out of the Gulf Shores area. The vibe of this place is everything! The branding is cohesive and fun, lively, and bright yet simple and sleek. The offerings of coffee and matcha, plus both speciality and regular coffee give a lil something for everyone! The staff was super nice and patient even when it was very busy. We came on Sunday at 11 am and it was definitely packed-- took about 10-15 minutes to get our order. The PB toast was very good and so was the burrito. There's also a good mix of indoor & outdoor seating. Clean bathrooms too. For a burrito, toast, & speciality iced coffees, the total was $37. I would definitely come back here. Best vacation coffee yet. Super rad place. Cool vibes. We tend to find new local coffee joints each day during our vacation but we broke that rule and got coffee three times from Foam. We tried hot and iced coffee in different flavors and everything was amazing. Very kid friendly with books and toys. Decent sitting areas with vintage furniture. Plus live plants which is always appreciated! Staff were friendly and even chatted a bit despite being busy. Given all the hype this place gets on social media, I expected a much better experience. Between the incorrect order, the high price, and the quality of the coffee, it simply did not live up to expectations. I won't be returning. For sale, a traditional coffee house menu of drip coffees, espresso, chai, loose leaf tea, and most importantly ceremonial grade MATCHAA. The main menu stays consistent, in addition a signature menu with specialty/seasonal drinks. A few food options are available as well including a breakfast burrito, toasts with toppings, yogurt bowl, etc. I saw online, they were offering a Strawberry Poptart Matcha. Boy it did not disappoint! Also practicing traditional technique by whisking the matcha powder with a bamboo whisk. This experience overall, surpassed my expectations. My girlfriend and I are staying next to this coffee shop, and while it's definitely cute and inviting with its decor and dog-friendly patio, I was a bit disappointed by the overall experience -- especially the staff. There was no warm welcome when we walked in. The menus are tucked into a small cup on the counter, and as a first-time customer, I found myself confused trying to locate them. Meanwhile, the staff just stared at us silently, talking only among themselves. The whole vibe was pretentious, and after reading some of the owner's responses to other reviews -- often dismissive or defensive rather than receptive -- it only reinforced my feeling that this isn't a business that values feedback or growth. As for the drinks, we ordered a brown sugar matcha and a strawberry matcha. Both were good, but the staff didn't ask what size we wanted, and overall weren't helpful when we had questions. I came here with my boyfriend on a beach trip and we loved Foam!! It was so cute inside and outside. The workers were very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our coffee. The drinks were also SO good! I got the salted honey latte with cold foam and it was amazing, definitely a 10/10! My boyfriend got the salted coconut mocha latte and he loved it too! I normally don't leave reviews and will always give people the benefit of the doubt, but I came in 3x this week (because the matcha is so good and the place is so cute) and each time I left I was bummed about how unkind the staff were. My most recent visit, they accidentally messed up my order. (It happens! No worries) I ordered a matcha and they called out my name and it was a normal latte. I nicely said "oops I think this is supposed to be a matcha!" And the barista didn't even look at me when she responded, she just rudely repeated the order & my name. She didn't even look up at me and her tone was as if I was the last person in the world she wanted to be talking to. I worked at a coffee shop for 2 years in Nashville where I dealt with tourists for years - I get it! But when someone spends money in your establishment, doesn't get what they ordered, and they kindly go up to ask for the right thing... don't be so RUDE!! Really sucks because the place is adorable, the decor vibes are great, but the service & staff set the tone more than anything else - and if you have consistently rude staff, your cute decor will not cover that up... bummer fr. I came here on vacation expecting to find a really cute beach coffee shop, and that's exactly what I did! The inside was super clean and aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the Honey and Sea Salt latte, and I think this might be the best tasting latte I've ever had. It was so delicious and addictive. The prices are pretty steep so I would be wary of that, but they do make all their syrups in house which is pretty cool. My husband and I first tried Foam years ago when it was located in a shopping center. Our recent experience was even better than the first time! Foam is now located in a cute space directly behind the shopping center and the inside is inviting and filled with live plants. It has a very relaxing vibe.
