If I could leave 0 stars I would. Went to this location on a Monday, store was hardly busy whatsoever. I was looking to purchase multiple makeup products & I needed some help with a few of my items so I looked around the store which felt like forever & finally found a short blonde girl hiding behind a shelf I asked if she could help me she tells me she can't leave her spot she can cal for someone so I'm waiting & she huffs & puffs & says god I guess I can help you but I only have a few minutes. She we go over I get the few items I needed help with I thank her & she just walks away I go search for a few more items before checking out, get to checkout & I think this girl is even worse! She didn't want to be there or whatever it was, no smile no small talk she gave dirty looks the entire time throwing my items in the bag very rude. Will not visit this location EVER AGAIN! Some of the staff are super friendly but there is always this one guy who always glares at me ! I never go in when he is at the front "greeting". Anyways I love how this Sephora is so huge! The only problem is sometimes when I am in the back near the Philosophy section there are no associates to help me. You have to see Kelly in skincare!! I was trying on a blue Kat Von D liquid lipstick when she asked if I needed any help. Oh yea, I'm really here for under eye cream (focus, Monique!). She actively listened to my needs, provided several options, and was extremely personable. Kelly gave me a few tips and prepared some samples for me to try at home. My husband hates going in Sephora because we never leave. However, Kelly's upbeat energy and witty conversation kept him entertained... my type of Sephora gal! I've gone here three times! It's very large and customer service is wonderful. I'm a huge fan of waterproof makeup and I had a lot of fun trying stuff out. I wish they had a larger line of Phyto. I was only able to buy the shampoo and conditioner in small amounts. If you're a fan of the Disney makeup line, the mirrors sell out FAST. If you call ahead of time, they will answer! read more

This Sephora Inside Tyson's is literally only a mile or two from my job, so I tend to come during my lunch break. Almost every single time I go (like this past week), they have been rude, inattentive, and plain negligent. I see literally 10 people on the floor and they are either talking amongst themselves, or busy doing something else. I went up to an associate and asked if she could help me match the Fenty foundations to my skin undertone, and even though this lady wasn't doing anything, she told me to wait. I only have an hour for lunch and it takes me 10 min to get there, so I had a limited amount of time. I kid you not, my friend and I waited for nearly 10-15 min until we just decided to leave. Then, on Friday (yesterday), my supervisor and a coworker of mine and I decided to stop by, and the lady who helped us match the foundations to us was lovely and funny, but at check out, the two young girls did not acknowledge me, they just talked between themselves. The one who assisted me was so rude especially when she found out I was using a gift card. she didn't say one word to me, and while my card was inserted waiting for her to do whatever on her side, she didn't even freaking notice bc she was too busy chatting away with the girl next to her. SO beyond over this place. I know more than those girls anyways. They treat you as if you're a peasant 99.99% of the time. read more

This store does not always have their stock filled up fast. For some reasons, products that I want to buy is often temporary ran out everytime I need them. All of the sample displays are messy sometime, broken or even missed. However, the staffs here scored up for all of the imperfection. They are friendly, helpful, nice , very patient and professional. I go in here every week or two and the quality of the staff has really been declining. They used to be generally interested in helping you find what you want and in making recommendations. Now they just ignore you. It's a very busy location but that doesn't excuse the indifference and sometimes rudeness of the staff. Today I saw that the Urban Decay chill makeup spray was not on the shelf. I stopped a woman who worked there (didn't get her name, but she had pink hair) and she said she guessed it was gone but if I really wanted she could look in the drawer for some. Um, since that was why I came in to begin with, yes, I want you to bend down and look in the drawer at your feet. It was like I was putting her out by asking about an empty shelf. I'll just go buy it somewhere else (like Macy's which is a few steps away and has exactly the same products). read more

If you're planning on getting a makeover here, DONT. Get your makeover at MAC or MAYBE try the Sephora at Fair Oaks. I literally had to go home, take all the makeup off my face, and redo my entire contour because my foundation shade was too light and I kept telling my beautician that I wanted an intense contour and she just couldn't manage it. My friend had also come with me and had an appointment right after and she made her beautician stop halfway through because the beautician didn't blend out her eyeshadow at all and somehow managed to fill in her eyebrows smaller than they actually are. Not to mention I had called to confirm my reservation and asked if I needed to bring anything with me for my free makeover (I'm a VIB rewards member and get 1 free one) and the woman had told me no. Fast forward to my appointment when I didn't realize I needed to bring the special makeover card with me and they forced me to buy $50 worth of product after I had explained this to the manager. She was incredibly rude, calling me a liar, until I finally told the beautician that had done my makeup I'd buy a foundation. Incredible waste of my time considering my friend and I had to go home and redo our faces anyway. I will never go back. read more

I've come here week after week asking for a specific product and each time im told that the product is out of stock and will be coming in "next week" or "tomorrow" However, it never comes "tomorrow." Being a guy, I know nothing about perfume and what is considered good vs not good. I mean, they all smell good to me, of what limited sense of smell that I have. So when I went into this store to get my sister some perfume for her birthday, I was totally lost. Luckily, Roxy at the fragrances counter completely saved me. She explained what makes a good fragrance and how to determine quality by scent. She then went through about 15 different fragrances, made recommendations based on the described personality and makeup of my sister, and gave me confidence in my purchase of a bottle of Tom Ford. I love Sephora but not this specific location. Of course the products are the same everywhere but the employees there are INSANE. I came in to buy a clarisonic Mia for a friends birthday when I was falsely accused for stealing mascara. They were all pretty rude to me and sort of taunted me in a way. Not a fan of this location. Poor customer service. I went in during the week in hopes of avoiding the weekend crowd. After about 10 minutes I was able to flag a free beauty consultant to ask for help finding a nars blush that complimented my skin tone. When I asked her for help she was noticeably irritated. As she was preparing to show me a few blushes her friend came in. The woman stopped helping me and proceeded to ignore me for at least 5 minutes. I recently had a makeover and I couldn't have been happier. Barbara and Shenoa did an amazing job on my makeup and Bea who prepped me in skincare was great as well. I can't say enough about how professional, knowledgeable and friendly they were with me. I know it can get packed in here especially on weekends but if you go in there with realistic expectations you won't be disappointed. Not the best Sephora I've encountered. I went and got a match for my foundation. It was the wrong one. The representative seemed to be on a hurry and ended up giving me two shades darker. I asked her for help on a concealer but she said I had to do it.....um I'm asking for help cause you're the professional there but I guess not everyone is. Don't plan on going there unless i have to. Plus you usually have to reach out to them for help. It's not usually them asking if they can help you or if you're doing okay with everything. read more

I went in today for new foundation and the ColorIQ was WAY off, but I don't care about that because a lovely associate was able to find the correct foundation color for me and it's perfect. What I do care about is that the manager told me and apparently other associates that they don't "do" lipstick samples. I just returned to the US after living abroad for 4 years for college, so I was shocked but I thought maybe the entire company had changed its policy. I googled and nothing came up, so I called the customer service line and the representative confirmed, after speaking to her own manager, that no, it's company policy that lipstick samples still be given out. This store manager has apparently decided on her own that they won't do that anymore, so I'm writing an e-mail to corporate and we'll see where it goes. When you sell $53 lipsticks (such as the one I want to try and buy), I think customers have the right to know whether or not they like the formula - whether it lasts, etc. Sephora does, too, and that's why they are supposed to offer samples! I realize I could buy and return it if I don't like it, but then they just throw it out, and that is so unbelievably and frustratingly wasteful (and much more of a waste of money for them than it would be to give people a tiny sample). Just an overall bad vibe from the store, especially after that, but 2 stars because it's big and has a good selection and because it took less than 2 minutes for an associate to match me to a color after the machine couldn't. read more

I recently went into this store to give it another try and had horrible customer service. I walked up to the counter and one of the cashiers had her backed turned to me and was speaking to another cashier who was on the phone. The manager, who I later found out, walked away when I walked up to the counter. One of the cashiers put her hand over the phone and asked the other one with her back turned to me if she was going to help the customer and the cashier responded no. I spoke up and asked if they were going to help me and the cashier in front of me almost ignored me and said that she couldn't ring me up and the cashier she was talking to on the phone could ring me up. This seemed a bit ridiculous. Why was she standing in front of what appeared to be the register and why was she not answering the phone and the cashier that could work with me was on the phone. The most absurd thing about the experience is that they were standing there talking and on the phone at the same time and acted as if I was not there. I asked to speak to the manager, but it was pointless. This store appears to be run by prima donnas that act as though they are not working there and don't acknowledge the fact they are the workers and we are the customers. I don't know if they judge you on if you are dressed up or not because I was not as it was a last minute trip to the mall, but I was not in sweats and still presentable. Since when do they have the option to speak to customers? That is their job. I seriously suggest Sephora send a few secret shoppers and make sure they are not expected. They should treat their customers better regardless if they are wearing Louis Vuitton or not. On that day, I felt like it was a take of the Pretty Woman movie and the snot nosed sales employees would not give Julia Roberts the time of day. Truly one of the worst experiences in customer service. I am treated better at 7-11. I will try to avoid this Sephora if at all possible. It's too bad because in the past, I had a bunch of good experiences. I believe it has a lot to do with current management and probably won't change until that changes. read more

I went in there to buy lipstick.. Place was super busy, and no one asked me if I needed help. After a few minutes, while I was browsing, one of the employees came up to me and asked if I have been helped. I needed a recommendation on a lipstick color that matches my complexion, but it seems the employees there do not have that kind of expertise. Anyhow, I decided on a color, then got to the cash register, the lady at the cash register asked me if I will be using my card, not sure what it's about, but I said "No" knowing it must be a card related to the shop. Then I asked her if they have a promotion, because I had overheard one of the employees mentioning that to another customer, but no one mentioned that to me. The lady at the cash register was rude and said they only provide these promotions to the card holders and "do not to the people who do not have this card"! she also said that's why they tell you about the points (which no one mentioned to me). I let her know that nobody told me that, then she said that she did tell me at the beginning which she most certainly did NOT!! Then she gestured for the next person in line, while I was still standing there! Very rude behavior. I was about to return my lipstick that I just finished buying because I felt very offended!! I made a Yelp account just to write about how bad my experiences here were. I came here a week ago looking for undereye serum for baggy eyes. There were no sales associates working in the skin care section except for a Perricone representative. She took off my makeup underneath one of my eyes to demonstrate the product (which was fine), but then she applied some of the product on my eyeshadow/eyeliner which definitely isn't under my eyes (not to mention it ruined my makeup). She then proceeded to tell me that the product was WAY over my price range ($100+), and although I know Sephora is expensive she should have made a point about the cost of this product since it's significantly more expensive than their other products. I came back tonight hoping to get some help from an actual sales associate, and when I finally found someone to help me I told her that Perricone was too expensive for me and asked for another suggestion. She proceeded to give me an extremely disgusted look, suggested two brands and walked away. She didn't even show me which specific products I should buy. At this point I left because I was so irritated. Every time I come here someone is usually able so suggest a good product for a reasonable price ($40-$50). This store needs way more people working here who are actually willing to assist their PAYING CUSTOMERS. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

I have been to this sephora many times and I have a passion for makeup! I am one of those shoppers who likes to take their time and I'm not the best at descion making so shopping here is even harder because you'll want every item there is basically. The staff is okay, it really wasn't that busy but I didn't receive a warm welcome when walking in instead I immediately felt judged by the so called "makeup artists" that work here, I use quotation marks because every time I had a question the employees would seem very lost and made me feel dumb for asking about certain products. Now going back to how I like to take my time, this is where they really messed up. As I wrapping up my shopping I noticed that it was closing time so I was making last minute swatches and looking around to make sure I was settled but the staff made it seem like shoplifting, while looking at a foundation two employees (male and female) starred me down and said "I don't like that red flag"...I then gave them a very confused look and walked away.Then they followed me and a different girl asked if I was finding everything ok I said yes just because I didn't want to be bothered, they proceeded to stare me down with dirty looks so I set the shopping bag I had down and stormed out angrily because I was truly upset that they would accuse me of such a crime and I could hear them talking about me. At the moment I had no words to say so I'm writing this review hoping a representative will see it and put that store and their rude employees in check. I will avoid coming back to this Sephora because they don't deserve my hard earned money with that attitude. read more

I love Sephora itself, but my goodness who ever hired the associate that helped me may need to get rid of her ASAP! I usually go into Sephora about 3 times a week, I love my makeup and skincare. The reason its a 1 star is because of GRACE shes the little Asian chick there. Trust me when you walk in you wont miss her face LOL. While i was in there shopping this one other customer asked her a question and she literally looked like someone beat her. Am i mistaking or arent you suppose to be good at makeup working there. I dont even want to start with hers. Horrendous! Now im no pro but WOW! I seriously cringed! Anywho i walked passed her and she was literally complaining about a customer right out in the open in front of everyone, she absolutely did not care. Now ive worked in retail for a very long time 10+ years and that is no way an associate should behave. So I only wanted to know if they were completely out of the concealer i wanted and the answer was so quick i didnt even finish my sentence LOL. She goes no if you dont see it there then obviously we are out. Hmm OBVIOUSLY huh. Well sweetheart maybe if you werent complaining and looking like you didnt care youd know whats in your store, the company you are representing. I found where they were actually displayed, got my shade. But what i thought was so funny was "obviously we are out" technically means to me "obviously" you have no clue what youre doing, what are you even doing in makeup. LOL read more
