We had my daughter's 8th birthday here and the girls had a blast! Lezi and Jeff were our party hosts and were super engaging and fun with the kids. I go into this lush regularly to restock on my bath bars and bombs. I am a huge fan of this store and getting my routine items. Today when I was shopping with my girlfriends i met this wonderful sales person named Sara! She was just extremely friendly, knowledgeable on all products and just easy to talk to in general. Usually I tend to say no thank you when people in the store ask if i need any assistance. Today I made an exception and am so glad that I did!! I walked out of lush with a new body lotion and body wash today and am so happy. I love this store!! I've been going to lush in Tyson's since like 2014, even when it was in a different location. I was recently in the store and a kind lady named Ajya helped me, she gave me the best recommendation for face masks and recommended me two perfumes based on the scents I like and I ended up loving them so much I went home and bought both online!! Haven't been here in a long time so I was thrilled to see the new, larger location. Beautiful spot with plenty of room to display every lushy thing they have to offer. When you walk in, you are taken by all the wonderful fun and whimsical colors and you can't help but want to peruse is the entire store to look, touch, and smell every little thing they have to offer. I was immediately greeted when I walked in the door asking if I needed any assistance & at first I declined but then I thought who better to help me decide but the staff, and since I was in a hurry this would expedite things. My only regret is not getting the sales associates name that kindly assisted me; if it helps at all she was a taller brunette with glasses. She was fantastic & she listened to my very specific search, showed me around, give me suggestions, and then left it up to me. She also walked me over to the really cool table where they have a tub to show you exactly what the bath products look like in the water when they are used. Very cool. To the wonderful sales associate that assisted me - you will remember me because I'm the one that came in for my teenage son who wanted a bath bomb as birthday gift for his "friend girl" and he was very specific that it didn't have too much glitter, lol. I ended up purchasing the Chocomint & as you were so graciously ringing me up, he called me right as I paid & thought that my selection sounded a little weird, not knowing how yummy it smelled, HA! I immediately reverted back to one of your original suggestions, Twilight, & you quickly refunded the difference back to my credit card, repackaged it and you sent me on my way feeling like mission was waaaaay more than accomplished, whoop whoop! I was in the mall over the weekend and I was kinda bummed when I went to the cubbyhole they used to be located at only to shed a tear to see that the store was no longer there :( As I wandered about the mall, my eyes spotted this huge circle of bubbles to only realized my sadness was in vein. The new location is freakin fantastic!!!! Lush here, Lush there, there was Lush everywhere!!!! I had this mixed feelings of happiness and overload. I found myself playing with the shower jellies. That's when I met Gabby with the glittery skin! Gabby was amazing! She came right over, introduced herself and gave me the rundown on the jellies. Our conversation was very informative as I mentally jotted down all the products I wanted to try. She was even nice enough to tell my her glittery hue was courtesy of a bath bomb. After about probably a good 30 minutes of wandering around the store I stumbled upon the toothpaste tablets and scrubs. I know this isn't exactly soap quality-relates, but I walked in with my 5yo & 3yo daughters and they had the best time thanks to Jenny. She showed them the "play doh" soap (she made snakes for them by request) and gave them lotions and even helped them wash their hands. This Lush is the biggest Lush in the US! The staff is really friendly and always available to help right away. They have a variety of bath bombs and bars, and there's been someone demonstrating how to use it every time I go. If you want bubbles when you're taking a bath, I would recommend using a bath bar instead of a bath bomb. I also love their face masks! They're made with natural ingredients and a variety of masks for occasions. The staff will help you pick out the perfect mask for your problems and you can also ask for samples if you want to try it out before buying the full size. I wish the masks lasted longer but because they're made with fresh ingredients, they only last for a certain time. This Lush is inside the Tysons mall. read more

Haha. you can just ask their staff who would gladly introduce you to their product. If there's any specific scent you're looking for just tell them and they would show you the products that closely match your preference. Take a trip to Lush and you may leave with more than you bargained for. Love the body soaps and how some of them look like cheese. The scents are incredibly delicious and I have bought some of them. Went to the Pentagon City location. It was Thursday evening. I've been passed this location several times. Can't help but not notice it due to the smell. My daughter absolutely loves this place and she was about to walk in only to be stopped abruptly. She had a boba tea and was asked not to walk in with it, she's 11. She didn't know. She comes out only seconds later to hand it to me and walk back in. Now, maybe I would have purchased something had she not been stopped again only to be told she has to know what she wants in order to come in because they're closing....it was 730pm. Couldn't help but notice the woman that was greeted and allowed to walk right past my daughter. Rather than waste my time and money. We walked away. It left her wondering what or why she couldn't do what she witnessed someone else clearly being welcomed in. Lush, as a business you need better representation of your business. I'm not going to lie, I've been avoiding this store because I know that it's humongous and I knew that I was going to leave with lots of product and less $$$ in my bank account. Last Thursday I finally gave in to my urges and crossed the threshold. Wow. SO MANY COLORS! So many smells! Oh, what's that? How do I even use this product? I felt like I was in Willy Wonka's Soap Factory. Thankfully, Natalia took care of me when she asked me if I needed any help while I was staring longingly and bewildered at the hair care products. I'm so grateful for Natalia because she made sure to show me some great products after asking very detailed and pointed questions. By the time I left the store, I felt like my skin and hair were in for a huge treat and a few days later, I can confirm that each product I came home with turned out to be a delight. This place is a lot to take in. Not only with the smells but all the many things to see and to try out (some with assistance with the staff). Your senses can easily be overwhelmed here but in a good way. Their prices are not cheap but they use the best ingredients in their products and you are definitely getting a bang for your buck! My most favorite things to get from this store are the amazing bath bombs, that are full of amazing fragrance and high quality oils for maximum moisture, bubble bars, which are essentially the same as bath bombs but create bubbles in your bath when run under water, and the sugar lip scrub, which is as delicious as it smells. This store is amazing and perfect if you're looking for handmade soaps/bath bombs/skincare/etc. They have a lot of options to choose from so be prepared to spend some time in here. I really like that everything is made by hand and cruelty free. It's my understanding that this a new location for them in Tysons mall, it's located on the 2nd floor near the Macy's. I've been to Lush at Tysons Corner Center twice; once a few months ago when it was a tiny corner store, and once this past weekend, after it moved to a larger location. The smaller store location was pretty interesting, since they had to organize everything in such a limited space, but you couldn't browse without getting intercepted by a sales associate, with whom I'm not always interested in interacting. The new location is a lot better for browsing; there's testers for every product and at least 1 sink towards the back of the store by the hair products. Even though I'm not always looking to buy something when I stop by (I don't use bath bombs and some of their products are more expensive than I'd like; I think I saw some $10 lip balms), it's nice to be able to test and smell products so you can decide if you want to shell out for them. The staff I've encountered have always been friendly, and I liked the shampoo bar I bought the last time I was there. read more

Fell in LOVE with their bath bombs at first but now I switched over to their facial cleansers and moisturizers from Origins. Sorry Origins...cry me a river. Facial Cleanser - If you have combination and sensitive skin, use their Fresh Farmacy Cleanser. Only 30% soap, the rest is lavender, tea tree oil, rose, chamomile, and more. The difference is clearly evident even after one wash. Facial Moisturizer- This is AWESOMEEEEEEEE moisturizer for people who endure the terrible T-Zone problem. This moisturizer is derived from citrus fruits such as pineapple, lemon, and papaya, and it helps to control the oily T-zones. Smells slightly nutty yet citrusy. Pricey ($40), but good skincare is a must. read more

For how pricy their stuff is they can't afford just a bit more space? Hahah - a cute girl came and helped and answered all my questions and let me sample a bunch of things. No pressure to buy anything, she was just very friendly and seemed knowledgable about the products. I bought a couple bath bombs, a massage bar, and a shampoo bar based on the girls recommendations. I also sampled some body butter and she sent me home with a sample of their conditioner. I will have to go back to get more body butter. Despite being called "butter" it was very light to rub in and didn't leave my hands feeling like they had a thick coating on them. It's been about 4 hrs since I put the stuff on and I have washed my hands a couple times (from cleaning and using the bathroom) and my hands are still crazy soft - and my hands have been dry lately. So that stuff is a miracle worker. I will have to get more. Can't wait to try what I bought and return for more! read more
