But Id already made an appt., or so i'd thought. Was offered appointment on Wed. morning - pay $125 for consult, of which only $50 can go for a skin product or procedure; told maybe a procedure could even be done same day. Okay! ready for that with some questions. Showed up early to fill out paperwork and pay, credit card in hand, & had emailed them ahead (now they are claiming they notified me ahead of time that doc. was not in on Weds., but then then their internet was down yeah) only to be told doc. is never in on Wednesdays. Well, then why was i offered that appt. on Wed. morning? Total BS. Receptionist is having is conversation in back room in Spanish. Receptionist looks a lot like the on-line photo of the doc. Just say'n. Total BS. Something fishy going on. Waste of $100 :/ for a 5 min consultation. At most "medspas" the consultation is included for free in the first treatment. Thought I was scheduled for treatment but it was just a consultation . Was looking for a new medspa that I can stick with for a long time. I've been to a few in the area and thought I would try a dermatology medspa to see if there was any more expertise than a regular medspa. I didn't find it to be very different , in fact I think RNs are just as qualified on basic cosmetic procedures like fillers/Botox/microderm/peels/micro needling. Service wasn't great, again my experience at other medspas has been much better. They don't offer a pricing menu since it's a "medical spa" but for $450 Peel and $425 micro needling I think prices are competitive. Seems they have spent a lot of money on the clinic /website but I think service could be better. read more

I've spent a lot of money on eyebrow products so when the craze over microblading happened I did a lot of research and I was very iffy for awhile. After speaking with Ratana about my hesitations, I felt more comfortable about scheduling an appointment to finally get it done. Let me tell you, I don't regret it one bit. I was born with bushy brows but at the same time very faint. So to have this procedure done has been a blessing! I save a lot of time getting up and going rather than filling in my brows. She walked me through the Do's and Dont's and was always readily available for any impromptu questions I had along the healing journey. I've been coming to this clinic for about two months now, and I only have positive things to say! I had a horrible break out a few months ago, and the products my old dermatologist not only didn't help me, but left me with dry, even more acne prone skin!! I was mortified! But lo and behold, I found this clinic that must have been sent from the heavens, because after being tossed around from doctor to doctor, they're the only ones who have been able to clear my skin! One of the things to keep in mind is that because this clinic is mostly for cosmetic procedures, they do not accept insurance. I must admit, I was a little bit skeptical when they said they don't accept insurance, but I'm so glad I gave them a try or else I would've missed this gem. Every penny I paid had been worth it. I was assessed by Dr. Hayre (the dermatologist), and she prescribed me some topicals as well as an oral medication. She also recommended I do isolaz once a week, which I have been doing regularly. Ratana does my isolaz treatments each week, and she is fantastic! I always look forward to the appointments with her, she's so fun to talk to and is super gentle with the treatment and the extractions (which usually hurt so bad!!). I also have to thank them for being so accommodating toward me. My job is very hectic and sometimes I end up having to stay longer than expected, which makes it hard for me to make it to appointments on time sometimes. After getting treatments from a different dermatologist for years for acne, I have to say Dr. Hayre is one of the best dermatologist in the area. She is very educated, compassionate and professional. Not only did she prescribe a well thought out treatment process and prescriptions, but also she spent time to educate me. Ratana completed my isolaz treatments. As a person in the healthcare industry, bed side manner and a meticulous nature are both very important to me. Ratana is efficient, thorough,and professional - always one step ahead of everything, plus remembers the little things that add to theexperience like never forgettito moisturize, placing sunglasses over my eyes, and extracting any pores. The office is very tidy and clean. Dr. Hayre has her only line of products, and the moisturizer and complexion brightening pads are great. Today was my second time visiting Cosmetic Dermatology Center and I thought it was time for a review since I've had a chance to sample a few of their services and have seen results. Originally, I had made an appointment with Dr. Hayre, but after a bit of a wait, her PA, Hillary came in and helped me. I'm so glad I ended up getting paired with Hillary. I'm sure Dr. Hayre is equally kind and obviously knows what she's doing, but Hillary and I hit it off right away and I immediately felt comfortable with her. The first day I had Botox on my forehead and between my brows and Hillary suggested microneedling when I had asked for further recommendations for my particular skin issues. What I appreciated most is that Hillary gave me plenty of options, gave me price points if I had a certain budget in mind and wasn't pushy whatsoever. We ended up choosing microneedling in 2 weeks so I would have some time to heal over the weekend. Today was my microneedling appointment and it was very relaxing and I feel like Hillary explained the procedure very well and was easy going when I asked to add some Botox to my crows feet as well. I will be returning next month for another microneedling appointment and can't wait to see my results! My face already looks pretty wrinkle-free and natural after Botox on my forehead. I have been going to see Hillary for laser hair removal. Hillary put me at ease right away and is one of the friendliest, most approachable health care professionals I have ever met. I have varying levels of pain tolerance (or intolerance), depending on the day, and Hillary works with me to find the right balance of pain tolerance and results. She is meticulous, conscientious and takes notes on what we have done, so I don't have to worry about keeping track of anything. Hillary never makes me feel ashamed that I'm not tougher (can I help it that my epidermis is sensitive?). In all seriousness, she is careful and knowledgeable and knows different skin types and keeps that in mind at all times. The office is beautiful, modern and clean. All of the staff members are professional and nice. They do a complimentary consultation in the beginning, so it's a no-pressure way to get your questions answered. I also love that the staff will tell you about their personal experience with whatever procedure you're considering. I also had one face tightening Pelleve session with Hillary. I did see results, but I didn't think I needed more (at this time). Hillary understood where I was coming from (because she is THAT approachable that I could just point blank tell her) and did not pressure me into doing more. When I want more cosmetic touching up (perhaps some Botox for wrinkles?) in the future, I will definitely have Hillary help me. She is a good-hearted AND outstanding clinician. I don't usually write reviews but I felt the need to add my two cents, as my husband and I have been going here ever since we moved to McLean and have never been disappointed. I have had a couple unsightly moles removed by the doctor and am very pleased with the cosmetic results and had no problem getting lab reports. My husband has a lot of sun damage and sees the doctor regularly for treatment and couldn't be happier with the office. I've have not gone for cyst extraction, but do get my annual skin cancer check ups here, as Dr. Hayre trained under Dr. Peck who was the founder of the Melanoma Center of Washington Hospital Center. He's the one who suggested I go to the doctor, as he indicated Dr. Hayre had been one of his top students. Besides the skin cancer checks, I have had fillers, injections and peels in order to age a bit more gracefully. I always get compliments from other people about how good I look.
