As usual the staff was warm, friendly, professional and made me feel comfortable the entire visit and throughout my procedure. I had my 3rd Morpheus treatment yesterday morning which was wonderful and started my laser hair removal sessions yesterday with a new young lady and she was just as wonderful as the first. 5/5 stars for the laser hair removal here, I started having less hair regrowth just after the first visit. The laser is comfortable and the nurse who does all my treatments is very thorough. However, I also purchased a package for BBL (broadband light) since they had a really good deal for it around the holidays and I've done two treatments so far. Unfortunately I'm just not getting the results that I had hoped for. My hyperpigmentation didn't get lighter nor did they ever get darker, crust up, and fall off like I was told they would do. I read on the BBL official website (Sciton) that patients usually see results after 1-2 treatments, however, I haven't seen any. I did notice that my complexion becomes brighter after BBL but it only lasts for about 2 weeks before it goes back to normal. Very disappointed since I purchased it thinking that it would help with my hyperpigmentation from sun damage. read more

I've been wanting to get laser hair removal for such a long time and I'm so glad I have found Dermaglow! The place is very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. I'm on my 4th session and I can already se the difference! I will come back for another review once I'm done with all my sessions but so far so good. The tech first convinced me to buy more units for my forehead than I needed. Then she convinced me to use Daxxy instead of Botox. She said this is so much better, you got to try, so I agreed. The result is awful and i can't wait for it to wear off! First of all, the smell of Daxxy that i had in my head for weeks was so bad that i couldnt sleep. A few days later my whole forehead and eyelids dropped, making me look creepy and scary even to myself, and my crow feet did not go away because there was ao much pressure from the top part of my head. When I went back (oh communication to this place is another story - so poorly managed, you want to avoid it by all means!), she said not to worry and added more to the glabella lines and crow feet areas, but nothing changed. I still look like a monster with droopy eye lids, unable to make any mimics or even smile. The extra units were clearly not needed and they did more damage than good. She did say i can come back for another correction, but i decided i will never come back to this place. She also recommended their eyelids surgeon which now seems like part of a scheme. Updating my review for dermaglow. They moved to a new location and have gotten an entirely new staff. I called twice to try and reschedule my appointment but there was no answer. I finally got in touch with someone and I explained my scheduling issue and asked if I could maybe come early for my appointment. The woman called me back and said no and proceeded to offer me an appointment for a time that I already said didn't work. She then said it's not a practice to double book appointments (I shared that my appointment has been double booked 75% of the time when I come). She didn't care that I have continued to be flexible with the Dermaglow staff and she had a very dismissive attitude. Considering that you can't get your money back from this place I'm very disappointed in my experience these last few months. read more

I was a long term customer here, but since they got a new location, service has gone downhill. I bought two packages for a medium area, and i saw no results after 12 weeks. Also, the technicians have no customer service skills and dont even spend the proper time providing the treatment, it feels so rushed and not well done. I used Derma Glow in 2023 for 6 laser hair removal sessions: 6 full face sessions, 6 upper lip, 6 bikini area, and individual upper leg sessions. I was told I had used all of my bikini sessions which is incorrect. Unfortunately, I had already purchased a few more sessions and in March 2024 I went back to start another 6 full facial sessions and upper legs sessions. The same thing happened now that had happened in 2023 during my first couple of sessions, they gave me a person who wasn't very good at what she did and I complained. I complained to the person that she needed to adjust the laser settings because it was hurting my teeth. I also complained that she needed to map out my face instead of going here and there without a plan. In the end, most of the hair on my face was still there and I complained again. She told me to give it 3 days and they would fall out. However, it never did. I called a couple of times trying to talk to someone about the issue I experienced but when the manager finally called me back I had already called my credit card company to complain. I am still out of the money I paid for the additional sessions. The problem could have been prevented if the manager had called me back sooner and reassured me that she would schedule someone else to take care of me. Instead, she said that I was the first complaint and she would not do anything different until she received a complaint from another client. read more

This is my very first lasering experience, so I came into it really nervous and with a lot of questions. I had done a lot of research prior to this and decided on DermaGlow because of the stellar reviews and price. I am so happy that I chose to come here!! Daleen provided me with so much information about laser hair removal and answered all of my questions. She was very friendly and extremely accommodating of my busy work schedule. She told me that after one session, I may or may not see results just yet and I expected it to take at least two or three sessions before I saw a difference, but it is now 2 weeks after my first session and I haven't had any hair growth at all!!! I'm so amazed and can't wait for the remainder of my sessions. I know that laser hair removal isn't permanent removal of hair-- rather, it's more like hair reduction. However, for me, my armpits have never been this smooth!!! I'm so in love. As for the actual lasering process, it was the most painful 30 seconds of my life LOL. I thought I was pretty prepared for it since I've plucked and waxed my armpits plenty of times before, and regularly get Brazilians. So I was like how bad can this be? Oh my... this definitely hurts, but it's very worth it. It wasn't so much the pain that bothered me but the heat of the laser. It does go away quickly, but I was squirming the whole time so just be prepared and maybe take an advil beforehand if you're a weenie with pain like I am. This review is long over due but DermaGlow is the best place to get laser hair removal. I started laser hair removal here on my bikini area about a year ago after finding a deal on Groupon. Daleen is a one woman show and does everything from laser hair removal to skincare. She's super personal, very professional and just easy to talk to (very important traits to look for when you're getting your vag lazered once a month lol). The treatment isn't fun, but it's totally worth it. About a year in and my body doesn't even produce hair as much as it did. I go every 6 weeks (started by going every 4 weeks) due to some stubborn spots but as long as I've got Daleen I'll come as long as I have to. Daleen is amazing. She is honestly one of the nicest people. She makes you feel so comfortable and at ease. She makes the whole process painless and simple. You'll be so busy chatting, you won't realize half an hour has flown by. Also, you need not have worries about cleanliness or sanitation. Her office is tidy and clean and I've always felt that I'm in a clean, sanitary environment. I wanted to wait until after my treatment was fully done so I can write my review based on the results as well. I am happy to report that I barely ever have to shave my legs anymore. As a warning, as is the case with all laser treatments, and this is something Daleen mentions up front... this is not a one and done situation. I will probably have to go back in the future for some touch-up maintenance. But still.. to go from every other day to almost never is a big improvement! When it was a smaller practice and just getting off the ground, appointments were easy to come by and I found Daleen, the owner, incredibly professional and knowledgeable. However, as the business has grown, this place has become awful. Terrible service, repetitive last-minute cancellations, unprofessional techs and administrative staff. When they have "rescheduled" cancelled appointments, they constantly book you at the same time as another appointment, so then you're stuck waiting even if you have the first appointment of the day. It's just unbelievably inefficient and frustrating to see a place that I used to really enjoy take such a downward turn. read more

I highly recommend Dermaglow, as the machine that was purchased recently is one of the newer ones (Alexandrite) which is one of the most effective for laser hair removal. I went to another hair removal center before and they used IPL, so I'm happy I found this place that uses actual diode/lasers. It barely hurts, just stings a bit. Aside from the machine, Daleen (the only technician/esthetician) is really nice and easygoing and is pretty accessible by phone. The new location at Tysons is fairly convenient as well. Prices are reasonable too. I just wish she had more weekend hours but overall I'm happy I found her, as she's super professional, quick, has a clean office, and doesn't try to upsell. read more
