I will be honest with you, the facility isn't the most fancy schmancy, it's not a day spa, but don't be fooled by those places, cause they don't always work. That was what was told to me by a friend who tried somewhere else first, it didn't work, then came here. I have brown hair and fair skin. My understanding of laser hair removal is you need a tech who is experienced working with your skin color and hair type, it matters in hair removal. Mclean Laser Center was recommended to me by a friend with blond hair and fair skin, and a friend with dark skin and dark hair and it worked for both of them. Tips: Park in the lot across the street that doesn't appear to be connected to anything. Don't park by the building, there are so many restrictions, and don't park in a lot for another business on the same side of the road, you aren't allowed and i have had a note left on my car that the next time it will be a ticket. If you don't already have a package, you will be required to pay a deposit. They do match groupon prices. Make sure you aren't taking any antibiotics when you come, and certain medicines that affect the skin (like accutane or retinol (i think?) anything that makes you more sensitive to the sun) cause you can't get laser while on those medicines. Once you make the appointment you will need to confirm it a few days before. Be sure to tip! PS - YES IT DOES HURT!

I drove from DC to VA for an appointment, prepared, had filled out all the necessary paperwork online, and was fifteen minutes early. More than happy to wait until my 1:30 appointment time. As I'm sitting in the waiting area, the "nurse" runs out screaming (like an idiot, completely unprofessional manner). "I'm accepted! I'm accepted" and flings herself onto the back of the receptionist. Not apologizing for her ridiculous outburst or bothering to acknowledge me, as I raised my hand and waved hello with a smile. So, I sat... and sat, until the reception comes to tell me, "yeah, it will be like another 30 minute wait, as we thought we'd have to numb you, and we don't have to numb you" --- I said OK,,, and waited. That was until I realized, I'm still the ONLY customer in the "spa" and the "nurse" and receptionist were chit-chatting and acting FOOLISH. I'm gonna wait 30 minutes, for what? You to catch-up on gossip? Nah. It's a pass. The place is lowbrow... cheap chairs and just not up to speed, makes me wonder if they bought their lasers, etc. second-hand. Don't waste your time, there are much better reputable, professional options. I would not trust these two with my skin. Stay away.

When I had…read moresurgery in July of this year I was Extreme happy with my results because I could only see my front and my waistline. But that is no longer the case 5 months later. My previous review, that staff push you to write immediately post surgery with the promise of free lymphatic massage and/or free faja... so of course you write it. But what happens after the initial 3 days post op? A lot of debauchery. You don't hear about the stories of opening 3 times post op. And not receiving medical help while your surgeon goes out of the country. You don't hear about being open and having staff continue to wrap you in a soiled binder which is causing you to open further. You aren't made aware of being stitched repeatedly but not seeing any result. Or receiving conflicting medical care from the surgeon, his staff and then the lymphatic massage therapist that leaves you in a puddle of tears of confusion after paying $13,050 of your hard earned money. No you don't. So, I'm going to show you and tell you. I'm being harassed for an additional $600 from the surgery center stating Dr. Santiago went over during my surgery. I was sent a text message 2 days post op from the Anesthesiologist for an additional $200 for the same reason. My boyfriend was told he needed to pay $300 before I was even wheeled out of Recovery. Oh, and when he returned to retrieve me they told him to prop a side door open and go grab something to eat because they still weren't finished. And when he returned upstairs to the surgery floor he walked down the hall to find an open surgical door where I laid on the table being operated on. I had to seek outside care to have my wounds finally close costing me an additional $800. I've seen no positive change in my back from before the surgery until now, 5 months post op. And according to Dr. Santiago I look good in the front. And he never promised me a flat back. According to him, I have skin and not fat. So, unless he rwmoved skin, there's nothing he can do. But I know that during my consult with Teresa, his point of contact, simply having lipo wouldnt take care of my back. Lipo 360 with tummy tuck and abdominoplasty would. You take a look at the attached pics and tell me what you see? That's right. The same extra back i went in there with. And oh yeah.... i requested my complete medical record. And it looks doctored, is missing pages, and he didnt document all of my medical visita for my openings. Don't do it. RUN! Because it's not fair to lead people on. I went telling them that I wanted to have only 1 back. Meaning have my back rolls removed. And they are still there. I guess I'm just supposed to never wear a backless dress ever according to Santago. Because as he's stated... you look good from the front.​​​​

My skin is normally very reactive and I was a little worried that I would experience some redness/dryness or irritation after the facial; however, that was not the case at all!
