I've been coming to TLC for about 3 yrs for various services. Facials, IPL, laser hair removal, ALL the products! Always a great experience. Jen and Katherine are fantastic and so knowledgeable. I felt compelled to leave this review as I just had a deep cleansing facial with high frequency on Friday (2 days ago). I woke up this morning and as I was brushing my teeth, looked in the mirror and was annoyed at myself because it looked like I had neglected to remove my makeup last night. But then I remembered I had definitely washed my face last night and used my IS clinical active serum and Image Vital C. Not sure if it was the facial, high frequency or the fantastic products but my bare skin looked like I had makeup on! I'm so glad I found TLC. They've done wonders for my skin and self confidence. I was so delighted with the results that I kept returning for other nuisance hair I needed removed, including most recently full legs. Before your first appointment, they will talk you through what to expect, answer all of your questions, and advise you on caring for your skin after the treatment. Rooms and equipment are clean. I've had several technicians over the years (mainly Kelly and Jennifer), but no matter who I see, they are knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and on top of every detail. I have been a client of TLC medi-spa for around 5 years and I have never experienced anything but wonderful service. The spa offers laser hair removal and skin care services that can be purchased online, over the phone or in the shop. They also run specials where the services are discounted making them attainable for the average working woman. The spa is run by a woman named Jennifer who is so knowledgeable, relatable and genuinely kind. She explained the entire laser hair removal process to me, answered all of my questions, made sure I was at ease and knew exactly what to expect. Being comfortable is so important to me, especially when I have to get undressed for certain services. Jennifer organized my appointments and maintained contact with me to ensure that my visits were scheduled according to my hair growth cycle. She adjusted my appointments as needed by either grouping them closer or farther apart to ensure that I received the most effective treatment for my hair type. I am very pleased with my results and I honestly believe that laser hair removal was one of the best things I've done for myself. I began receiving skin care services from Kelly, the wonderful esthetician at the spa, in April of this year and I am in love with my skin. I get an amazing facial every month and Kelly works so hard to make sure that I leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and blackhead free. She takes copious notes after each facial so that she knows exactly what to do next time. When she sees me she always takes time to discuss any skin care concerns that I may have prior to beginning my facial and adjusts my facial as needed to address those concerns. She recommended several products and put me on a regime that is effective and maintainable. This is a must for me because if it takes longer than two minutes to clean my face in the morning and at night realistically I'm not going to do it. Now I get so many compliments on my skin and people constantly tell me my skin looks 5-7 years younger than what it actually is. Kelly also tints my lashes and maintains my eyebrows. When she began working on my brows they had several thin spots from over arching. I was concerned that they may not grown in but I can honestly say that after a few months those thin spots were gone. Kelly keeps my brows groomed with a arch that follows the natural growth pattern of my brows. I won't let anyone touch them but her. I am so amazed at the services that are offered at TLC-medi spa and I recommend this spa all the time. Jennifer and Kelly are a wonderful pair of women and they are passionate about what they do. Jennifer and Catherine are amazing! Sweet, kind, thorough and takes their time explaining treatments best for your skin type. Their place was very clean as was their procedure practices. I'm a nurse and I always pay special attention to that. I've had the yag laser and saw amazing results. I'm 63 and my skin has never looked better.
