The items are Not in terrible condition, but not in giftable condition. Would have also been happy to exchange except the inaccuracies and discrimination from Manager Mary and associate Tracey is utterly unacceptable. I called online and they said any items could be returned to the store within 60 days. It's been less than 14 days and we returned the items, unused, to the store but the manager refused to process the return, stating first that it was "too much" and then later that the "website was wrong." So I contacted Pike and Rose and Wildwood store managers who confirmed that online purchases may absolutely be returned to the store. So after taking careful inventory for 50 minutes for each item, confirming the correct item and date of purchase, the manager Mary still refuses to process the return. Their own online customer service department is open until 9pm EST but won't return a store's phone call? Technically per their policies, I could have used the product for 59 days and still returned the product. However, I am returning unused product almost immediately after receipt, and they still refuse to process a refund. I definitely recommend going to Nordstrom for the same exact product and actual, professional beauty consultants and associates who are able to honor their own company policies. This store is discriminatory and ignorant and I will be filing a formal complaint with the State Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs and Office of Civil Rights.

So then I went to the internet machine to do regular searches on just that... and they confirmed the YouTube peoples opinions. So how does one dye like a professional stylist. You gotta get professional products Specifically - developer - permanent hair dye -... and booster ? Also a bowl and a brush and gloves if you don't have them. So I went to the Sally's in Tyson's area and they were out of the specific color I wanted in the dye brand I wanted. Professional hair dye is rated on a 1-10 scale. 1 being the darkest and 10 being the lightest. I was going for darker My hairstylist dyed my hair a 5... but all hair dye apparently lightens after a month or so. So I liked it a lot when it was just dyed... but then it faded to a lighter color which I didn't like as much. In any event. I went with a mix of a 4nn, 5nn, and a developer. I opted for the more natural hair dye called Inspired by nature. It was without ammonia. Apparently the nn means it penetrates the hair follicle a bit more. And the developer I used was a 20 level. So... I dyed it myself last night... Shockingly after about 20 minutes of the hair dye in... my hair was turning pretty darn dark. And also this tar like substance start appearing on my scalp.... I think I put in too much dye. Like I said... "amateur colorist". So then I freaked out and washed it out immediately. Hoping I just didn't dye my entire scalp dark dark brown. Lucky me! It worked! And it worked well. Big reveal at the Yelpies tomorrow ;) In any event, I gave this Sally's 5 stars cause the woman there was the most helpful ever. She asked if I needed any help and I instinctively was like... no I'm good... and then I was like... actually one question. Then I asked that question followed up by another... by another... by another. I was like... I must seem crazy cause I just said I didn't need any help... yet I needed ALL the help. The woman had short pinkish hair and was so pleasant and ready to assist. I even asked her about the sample pieces of hair they had and her opinion on dying my hair - mix of 4 and 5 or just 4. I was thinking just 4 and she like my hairstylist agreed it should be a mix ... or like a 4.5. Would go back here. Would seek her help again. Definitely a great customer experience all around.
