Made an appointment to get my makeup done for an event. Started late, but I was on a timeline so that just meant my appointment was cut short. Choose a foundation that was to dark. My makeup didn't match my inspo pic at all. As a matter of fact looked exactly like the person's make up that she did before me. I took my own lipstick and it was really uneven. She did a wing eyeliner, and it was so uneven and wonky. She did a great job on my eyebrows. But then didn't apply any foundation to my neck so it didn't match my face. She was really nice but I didn't see her clean the brushes in between people which is a little scary I definitely didn't feel like it was $60 worth of make up application She didn't let me know what product she was using so that I could possibly purchase them or learn and purchase in the future She started to put on latex gloves at the beginning of the appointment, but I have a severe latex allergy , so I thought that that was a huge safety issue. Visited a couple of months ago. The first employee who assisted was very helpful (forgot her name). Then she passed me off to an employee named Onyx. I was trying to decide which facial cleanser to purchase. Onyx offered to give me samples of the products I considered. I said I would love to have samples. First time at this location. The staff super nice and professional. I was greeted and helped within a few minutes of entering the store. I found all I needed quickly and got out as soon as humanly possible. The main problem with this store is that they don't monitor the people in the store. There was a group of girls between the ages of 12-15 that were running through the store, touching all kinds make up, no parent or supervision to be found. They were loud and obnoxious. Running in and out of the store with a boys the same age running after them. It was weird and disruptive to actual paying customers. Hopefully Sephora will give their staff the ability to keep kids like this, that are not supervised out of their store. I have been to so many sephora's across the USA and this one was THE WORST. When I walked in I was offered NO help they treated me so poorly I almost cried because I saw them treat everyone else kindly but not me. I will be sending a letter to higher ups cause customer service should be key; however these ladies did not abide. Maybe it was because of my skin color because the fair skin ladies had two people working with them. They may have assumed I couldn't afford anything. I'm not sure. I'm use to dropping 400 plus when I go to Sephora due my experience I only spent 30 because I felt sooooo uncomfortable being ignored even when I asked for help. Although they cater to women's products more then men they do have a wide selection of men's cologne they usually have really good discounts on there men's fragrances.
