There's a few things in life I believe you should always splurge on: toilet paper, birth control, and skin care. I've always struggled with acne (my hormones seem to believe I'm 16) and have developed a bit of scarring and discoloration over the years. This is something I'm a bit self conscious about, so I did a bit of research and stumbled upon Skin Solutions. I've been seeing Erin once a month for three months now, receiving both a chemical peel and the microdermabrasion facial. During each treatment she's gone above and beyond to help lighten the scarring, and has also provided a ton of education in order to prevent the breakouts. The first treatment I received was the glycolic peel. This peel is more abrasive than your traditional skincare. Following the treatment you shed your top layer of skin for several days. This process turns you into a bit of a reptile, so I definitely suggest scheduling a peel on a weekend when you're able to grab a bottle of wine, order UberEats, and hibernate. Since your new layer of skin is fresh and unprotected, it's also best to stay out of the sun to prevent sun damage. This process was pain free and I was ecstatic with the smoothness and the color correction of my new layer of skin! I never want a facial to be fully relaxing, instead I prefer an esthetician that pokes and prods until all the gunk is removed from my pores. Erin does a great job of balancing pain and pleasure during your session, and leaves both my skin and mind feeling cleansed. While It hasn't been a drastic overnight change, I'm aware that the skin journey takes time, money, and effort - and I'm so glad to have Erin's expertise! I have gone to Erin for eyelash extensions multiple times over the last few years. The first time was for a wedding, but I loved my lashes so much I kept them on. I have been to two other places to get my lashes done, one salon in chino (don't remember the name) and also Alexander's salon in corona. Both places I wasn't satisfied. My lashes either fell off way too quickly or they were too thin. It defeated the purpose of getting my eyelash extensions for that full, healthy look. I returned to Erin to have her do my lashes again recently for a Las Vegas trip, and I have had so many compliments on my lashes since. Erin is really knowledgeable about what she's doing, she's gentle, and she's always a perfectionist. She is also very prompt which I appreciate. I have heard horror stories of women losing their lashes after extensions like these. When I decided to take my lashes off she gently removed them with a solution and my lashes were back to what they were before. I had been growing my eyebrows out for months in order to get them re- shaped. Erin came highly recommended by several people. I waited weeks to get an appointment with her. The day came and I was so excited to finally have eyebrows again! I was astonished by the lack of time and care she took with me and by her lack of courtesy. My Esthetician moved to Arizona a few years back and after trying several other local people I was disappointed and just began going to L.A for skincare treatments and facials. For some reason Skin Solutions wouldn't pop up on yelp when I would search.. anyway I finally came across the page and made my appt with Erin. Let's just say I found my go to girl for skincare. She is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. She takes her time getting to know you, lifestyle, diet, current skin care, goals you have for your skin etc. The type of skincare and services she offers are top of the line. I came in with the long term goal of recovering my skin, youth and firmness. We discussed enzyme, peptide and microcurrent treatments. However, the weeks leading up to my appt I experienced congestion around my chin/jaw area (part was hormonal based and the other cause was another skin care line I was using) so we decided to decongest and do an enzyme mask facial before we begin the other anti aging treatments. I do think fillers and Botox have a place in skin care for prevention and for certain things. I'm not against it at all, I've used them before where I had some hollowness under my eyes. But with that being said, I can tell you nothing compares to a good diet, good skin care and monthly facials. Your skin looks healthy and glows and you look young, but very natural and maintaining your natural features. Besides the proof is in the pudding, you can see Erin's face and she has the most creamy, porcelain flawless skin! But still looks natural and healthy. I definitely recommend skin solutions to everyone, you can't go wrong.
