My son graduated from their program today and we couldn't be happier. We started attending the Corona office in October with Shelli after my son was struggling with several sounds. When we began it appeared we had a long road ahead of us, but less than a year later we're done. Here are some of the positives: - appointment for the eval was made quickly - all messages and emails returned promptly - Shelli was a joy to work with; she was positive, her energy was perfect for a preschooler, she gave me weekly updates on his progress and struggles and she always seemed so focused and committed (my son said he was happy to be done with the weekly appointments but he was "so sad" to not be seeing her anymore) - I was always given things to work on at home- I felt like I was a key player in his goals - the Corona office is clean, cute, and inviting (the office staff is nice too) - I needed some extra paperwork for my billing claims and Tammy bent over backwards to help get me what I needed (and replied so quickly to emails) - the other therapists were always so happy and kind to everyone Negatives- - my biggest issue is that they're super limited in what insurance carriers they work with. This is of course their prerogative, but I wish they would work with Anthem - our first visit in Riverside wasn't quite as positive; I felt that the woman doing his evaluation was a little short-tempered and impatient with him. In her defense, it was Friday at 4pm, but he's just a kid If we ever need speech again I'd definitely go back. read more

My boys have been coming here since 2012. The staff is great, very professional and super friendly! They really try to accommodate with your schedule. The even have occupational therapy here as well. Katelyn (SP) and Dawn (OT) are AMAZING!!! They even have a play area in the waiting room, which is great when you have your other children with you. There is plenty of parking in the back of the building. I couldn't ask for a better place to take my child to get his services. Keep up the great job ladies and thanks a million!!! read more

My son has been receiving speech therapy from Ms Katelyn for about 6 months. We are so happy with his progress. She is so patient and kind to my son. We took our 2 1/2 yo son here for the first time. The woman evaluating my son was so great with him, being that he has anxiety with strangers. We learned so much about speech at that appointment! It was really fun to watch her work. I need to put in a HUGE thank you to the front office ladies who went above and beyond by correcting a pretty big billing error due to misinformation given by my insurance. read more

They do great work here. I started bringing my 13-year-old son here a few months ago and he's already made good progress. It can be hard to find an appointment time, but that's just a testament to how busy they are. But they're always friendly and run on time. read more

Avoid this place if you can. It seemed dirty, unorganized, and the owner changed my sons progress notes six months after he quit seeing her. She sent the notes to my insurance via email, telling them my son cannot use his sign language to "be utilized in the community", and that "he has not been able to consistently demonstrate the ability to add new signs", even though he was increasing in vocals and sign language according to other therapists, but before that nothing like that was said in the notes. I found out in a court hearing that this happened, it turns out they denied him because he was over a certain age even though they mistakenly accepted him in the first place, when they were aware of his age they denied him. BEWARE, behind the scenes, agencies and people who work closely with your insurance can alter records, change notes, even months after you no longer have seen a therapist. It makes me very worried about confidentiality now and when I read records I read very carefully now. There was no warning about changed information until we had a hearing date which left me feeling very betrayed and sad for my son because he was doing so well according to all the other progress notes. read more

Due to a scheduling issue/misunderstanding on the part of SenseAbilities Speech Therapy, a facility that my son was referred to for speech therapy, I had to speak with the owner, Boyd Bradshaw. My husband and I conferenced him into a call where we attempted to give some back story and explain what was agreed upon by his staff and try to gain understanding of why we had so many people giving us different information including his office manager. He them went on to tell me that his 'female staff' lacked the intelligence understand when my husband came in the month prior to switch his appointment dates due to his 6 week football session. I asked Mr Bradshaw if that was really appropriate to imply that women were less intelligent or lacked the ability to understand. He started to berate me 'choosing to focus on that' and saying things like in this 'day and age' and 'you people'. When I told him again, that this error or issue is that of his staff and the correction should be made with them not us as we continue to bring our son there and that he needs to take care in what he says being that I'm a woman and found it offensive, he berated me some more before hanging up in my face. Needless to say we've terminated their services and have already been assigned to a new place. It sad because Kyline (his therapist) seemed very nice and my son liked her but I'm not tolerating this from any business. read more

Senseabilities in Corona is not equipped to work with developmentally disabled children or with children with special needs. The owners and the staff refuse to understand the extreme challenges of us parents whose children aren't able to potty-train the way typical children do. A small, wobbly changing table (with holes and fecal stains on the unsanitary worn out mattress) that only accommodates the size of typical children up to 3 years old (if even that) is not exactly well fitting or safe for developmentally disabled children in diapers who are often older, taller, and heavier - leaving us with only two options: 1. Change your child's diaper on the filthy bathroom floor with the risk of head injury on the hard tile, while also taking away your child's dignity, 2. Find a different provider that is better equipped to accommodate your child's special needs. There aren't many providers like that out there, but they do exist. After many phone calls I was able to replace Senseabilities with a caring, family-oriented clinic in Orange County within a week of switching. The new clinic provides accommodations for toileting needs, and their therapists, unlike the therapists at Senseabilities, are also skilled with various effective techniques for sensory needs related to special toileting. What a relief to never have to go back to Senseabilities. read more

The place is nice Nayeli is very nice and understanding, the general staff always greats you with a smile. The only issues are the parents who are obnoxious. They are loud and talk on the phone in the waiting area while people are trying to read. Some parents do not have the common sense to step outside for a personal call. read more

The staff at sensabilities is amazing! I took my daughter every Friday for a year and she has come such a long ways. Her speech has improved tremendously. Thanks to Ms. Casey she no longer needs speech therapy but she will surely miss going! She loved going. My twin sons and I have been attending this facility for over 2 yrs now and I just wanted to share with you my personal experience and my Appreciation. My sons have been diagnosed with many disorders, but I tell you what, the personal experiences my sons have received from SenseAbilities and staff has been extraordinary. They have not only made great improvements is my sons disorders, but also given them a sense of accomplishment, increased their self worth and also helped in areas concerning their social behaviors and skills. When my sons first started attending this facility, they were both receiving Speech and Occupational Therapy. Currently they have graduated their Occupational Therapy and I owe that all to the countless hours, hard work and creativity this facility and their therapist provide. Along with their hard work and dedication when working with my sons they have also given myself personal training during sessions in order to continue this treatment in our home. My experience with Occupational Therapy alone has been extraordinary. Pertaining to Speech Therapy my sons and myself have had the same extraordinary experiences. My sons both have several disorders pertaining to speech, as they were both born deaf, due to the inability to hear at young age the severity of their disability are not limited to articulation, but also receptive and cognitive skills. When first facing these challenges, as a parent I was devastated and wanted to get them the proper and most effective care possible. Once we began our sessions with SenseAbilities, I was hopeful and grateful to get any additional help I could for my sons. Within months I started to see changes and notice corrections in their speech that wasn't their before and their next IEP at school we received great news that they had met our their speech goals. The most wonderful part of these services is that the parent is aloud to sit in on their sessions and it is actually beneficial for a parent to attend, if possible, in order to be able to use the same techniques and follow the same direction given into your home. If you are unable to attend session the facility also provides the parent with homework in order to set up a routine of using the skills they have learned in your home. These structured practices by the facility and their staff allows the child to have maximum affect in continued care in therapy and in your home. In other areas, not pertaining to speech therapy I have rave reviews about is the professionalism, as a whole. Also, their dedication to work with a parent for the best interest of the child. The facility, staff and owner, Tamar have made great sacrifices to give the best care to my children and beyond any struggles we faced, SenseAbilities, face those struggles with us. For example, I shared custody for years and unfortunately the other parent didn't find that the boys needed or deserved to get additional help, so in turn he would not allow them to attend during his weeks. Unfortunately, this did put their services in jeopardy, but regardless SenseAbilities keeps my boys on the schedule. They worked every avenue possible to be able to keep them going regardless if they were required to or not. I spent endless weeks attending services without the children showing up and they made it possible for me to make up sessions during my weeks until I was finally awarded custody. When I see complaints through yelp regarding SenseAbilities, I am a little offended. I see my experience with SenseAbilities, as the most positive and unique experience that I will never regret. Not only for my children, but all the other parents and children that walk through these doors. In this place is success. In closing, I want to again thank SenseAbilities for their outstanding work in my kids's lives. You have been my greatest accomplishment. My greatest pride and I have the outmost respect for all you do and stand for. Never give up the fight to give children the best chance possible. You mean the world to us!!!! read more
