They make kids feel comfortable with their teachers. Teachers are very friendly and they work well with parents in communicating in every session how well they did./and how to meet every goal they have for them . My daughter has Miss Marissa as her teacher - she makes class fun with different activities for her to want to participate and come and practice her speech every Tuesdays :) read more

Truly grateful to have found this establishment. My son has been here for a few months for Speech Therapy. Luz is amazing with communication and running the front desk. I've been bringing my 2.5-year-old here for about 5 months now. We love it! For the first few weeks, my daughter was hesitant to go in the therapy/play room, but Miss Kalissa made it such a fun place for her that she was able to go in on her own (one-on-one with the speech therapist, which is the goal) after just the second or third week! She really enjoys it and now doesn't even look back or say bye to me when she walks into the room! Kalissa has a large variety of toys and seems to know exactly which ones to pull out for which purposes. Their therapy room just happens to be the one right next to the parent waiting room, so I get to hear a little bit through the wall of what they're playing/working on, and it's always encouraging and I know she's in good hands. My daughter's speech has improved A LOT in the past few months, from just one and two word phrases to now saying much longer sentences and speaking frequently, rather than rarely. Kalissa also has great communication with me and explains what my daughter did well and how I can continue to help her at home. The waiting area is small but welcoming, and there's coffee and WiFi available for parents while they wait, as well as some toys on the wall for little siblings. read more

This was my first time experiencing this type of care, speech therapy. I'd like to start by mentioning the wonderful woman at the front desk, Luz. She was always very kind and helpful. From the start, I felt welcomed and a sense of warmth. My son, normally hesitant with strangers, immediately felt comfortable and gravitated to Ms. Kalissa. After experiencing a different therapy provider for my sons speech and language delay, we were sent to Key Communications. I wish we would have started with them and Miss Kalissa sooner. When we started he only had maybe 5 words that he would day. After about 4 months, my son has made loads of progress and is now using many word approximations and is progressing weekly Miss Kalissa is so patient with my 2 year old and is really loving and kind to him. She is clear in her delivery to me as a parent on things to work on outside of therapy, and meets my son where he is on a daily basis. I wish I could give this place and our specialist more than 5 stars, they deserve more! My son began his speech therapy journey Dec 2024 with less than 10 words. Our amazing therapist Kalissa has been working one on one with my son and he has shown so much growth and progress in his vocabulary. Shes done such a wonderful job teaching him, being patient and trying to work with my son at his level and get him to expand his words to more than 20 words now! The overall staff has been wonderful and the facility is such a welcoming place. My kid gets so excited when we approach the building and is so excited to see everyone but especially his therapist Kalissa. I have nothing but great things to say about Key Communication. I have 3 year old twin boys with speech delay and getting them in here was such an easy process, especially with working with my schedule. I was a little nervous for the reason that I'm a sahm and my boys are with me 24/7. I wasn't sure how they would do with having a one on one sessions. Both of my sons are at different levels with their speech and I can't thank their therapists enough on the progress they have made. I give Ms. Kalissa so much credit with her patience with my son. It took him some time to get adjusted however, he started feeling comfortable and started responding to cues that he didn't know before. Even though he is still non verbal he can complete activities and can communicate to me things he wants with the cues he's learned. My other son had Ms. Jihna and he went from saying 5 words to 15-25 words on a daily basis and is saying two word phrase's. I learned a lot of ways to help both of my sons through their time at Key Communication. The receptionist Luz was also so friendly and caring. Also greeting me every week I went and helping any way she can with not just me but other parents. Unfortunately, my children had aged out of their program with regional but will continue therapy provided by their district. Hoping they will soon take my insurance so I can bring my sons back here. It's been a great experience for our family here- Mr. Dean always responds quickly, and we worked with Ms. Courtney and Ms. Kalissa, who were both so sweet. Staff is very friendly and understanding. We noticed a difference in my son's speech after just a few weeks, and luckily he continued getting better from then on. We came came into this office not knowing what to expect. We had been dealing with speech therapy through zoom and we're not seeing a whole lot of improvement in our child. Our child was assigned to Kalissa and our child formed an immediate bond with her. After his sessions she Kalissa would then debrief with us and tell us how she was trying to formulate sounds with him and what we should continue to nurture through out the week. She was genuine, patient and caring to our child and expressed patience and love with him. It is truly a pity that we got to work with her such a short time. Also, in general the facility is quaint and the receptionist is friendly. On multiple occasions, Luz offered my daughter some distraction when she would get fussy waiting for my sone to finish. From the moment you open the door the environment of the atmosphere is warm, fun, and welcoming! I have been bringing my daughter here for over six months now and she has been working with Kalissa. It took a few sessions before my daughter finally warmed up but now she loves her session with Ms Kalissa! No hesitations when Kalissa opens the door for session and my daughter sees her my daughter will say "bye mommy" and it puts my heart at ease knowing she is in good hands. Kalissa is so fun, energetic, nice and welcoming. Always has a positive attitude. I have notice a huge difference in my daughter's speech since we have been coming here.
