They were extremely difficult to get in contact with just to schedule an appointment. I called, submitted my insurance information, and then waited over two weeks without any response. No one ever called me back. I had to follow up myself just to confirm whether they even accepted my insurance. They told me they would call back to schedule an evaluation, but that never happened either. The whole process felt like pulling teeth just to be seen. Our primary care doctor recommended our son to evaluate for speech therapy since he wasn't saying or able to identify enough words for body parts at 2 years old. After he got evaluated, the score was little below where he is still recommended to attend speech therapy for 6 months. We were able to get this location with great reviews. I was nervous since never been here and not sure what to expect. They were able to answer any questions we had such as how long is the session, can we sit in every session, how would I able to access the invoices to get refunded through HSA, and etc. Our son was assigned with Ms. Katlyn. Thankfully, he was comfortable around her and was easy to engage with her since I was worried how he would be due to not enough play dates. Ms. Katelyn is very helpful and able to answer any questions we may have. Also, she continue to guide us on what to model with him for each week. I'm glad they let me take pictures or videos of him during the session cause it allows me to see what improvements or what they do to help me remember what I need to do at home as well as share it with my husband since he has to work. It makes me feel comfortable knowing they allow that because if you don't it makes me think what are you trying to hide and who knows what you are doing IF I can't be in that session. My child's safety is a priority. Thankfully, I am or a relative able and will be in every session. There was a day that we were late by like 5 mins and I called the office to let them know, but they were understanding and even told me I had 15 mins to get here even if it's after the start time. I didn't want to miss the session because there could be a penalty fee or if you have too many miss session then they would have to cancel the whole therapy session and refer me back to my doctor. After being here for 4 months so far, we are seeing a drastic improvement with him. He is saying more words and doing well with his one step direction. I'm glad this was able to help him. The staff here are friendly and helpful on our every visit. There are plenty of parking spaces. I highly recommend this place. read more

Please read this before considering sending your child here. While our daughter had a wonderful teacher, our overall experience with the program was disappointing. Communication was limited from the beginning, and we were never given a clear understanding of how the program worked. The supervisor's involvement felt inconsistent, yet autism testing was suggested early on without clear documentation or thorough communication with us. When we asked for clarification, there was little explanation provided. Making a recommendation of that magnitude without documented observations or clear reasoning felt unprofessional and concerning. We also struggled to receive regular updates, and requests for communication were dismissed due to their workload. As parents, that level of communication should be a priority. In the end, we chose to leave. Although it was difficult because our daughter loved her teacher, we did not feel the overall care, communication, or value aligned with what was promised. read more

I am extremely grateful for this agency. My daughter was diagnosed with level 2 Autism at age 1 and 11 months, she had trouble with her speech. She is now 3, about to be 4. Ms. Vivian has been her speech therapist for over a year and I've seen so much improvement. She is verbalizing many words, over 150 words now. She is making eye contact and verbalizing what she wants without engaging in a tantrum. She is able to understand what I'm asking her to do (such as clean her toys) and she will follow through. Her understanding of words and phrases has improved. I drive 30 min to get to her therapy once a week. I text them when I'm running late and in several occasions, they have changed the time to adjust our needs or provided us with a detailed home program. Ms. Diana, the receptionist, is so welcoming and acknowledges every child and parents that steps on that facility. She's very nice and pleasant with everyone. My daughter also receives occupational therapy for feeding, Ms. Emily is great with my daughter. We just started feeding about a month ago and we are slowly exposing my daughter to non preferred foods, Ms. Emily has assisted with helping my daughter with her chewing and overall, exposing her to foods by having her explore the foods ( playing with them and rubbing the food item against her cheek) slowly helping daughter taste the food. It takes a community to help a special needs child to succeed. I'm very happy I chose Grace Therapies to be part of my village. I don't feel alone, I feel supported. read more

We had such high hopes when starting speech at this location. We had an issue with the first SLPA due to her limited ideas/activities, her preferred method of teaching was a computer. I don't know how many 3yos can sit in front of a computer & learn speech, but it didn't work for us. After speaking with the Director, we were switched to an SLP. In our 8 months with this SLP, I created an open line of communication regarding my child's progress and challenges. I brought up specific new "issues" that were minimized by the SLP, she referred to them in a way of him still learning. Out of the 37 sessions we were scheduled, the SLP canceled 4 & we canceled 0. Well I received my child's yearly evaluation (2 months early) & the SLP has decided to drop us stating my child is "just not ready" for speech & she doesn't see any point in continuing until he learns to participate 100% on every session because he refused to say FOUR words in a 20min evaluation. I specifically did not use any names in this review because this is not an attack on anyone's character, but rather a warning to not spend $90/hr on a place that will say one thing to your face & another behind your back. Im so happy I came here for my then 20 month old son to be seen for speech therapy. When my son was about a year and half he wasnt where I thought he should be regarding his ability to communicate or even make proper eye contact. Even though people around me discouraged the thought of him needing help and told me its normal most kids learn at their own pace. We've been coming here for a couple of months now and we absolutely love it. This place has been unlike no other. I've tried two other offices and nothing compares to Grace therapies. Both my son and daughter come here and look forward to their therapy sessions. Ms. Vivian and Ms. Ashleen have been wonderful. They are very patient, kind, thorough, informative and they make speech fun. It's nice having the option to do telatherapy in case one of the kiddos are sick. They also communicate very well and have always been accommodating to my schedule as well. The office is very nice, clean and they have plenty of fun activities and toys for the kids. I've seen lots of improvements in my kiddos.
