I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Rapha Physical Therapy. This is absolutely not a place I would recommend for children, especially children with special needs or disabilities. I had an emergency and arrived only 5 minutes late to pick up my children and instead of showing even a small amount of understanding or compassion, I was told that I could no longer bring my child back. That response was incredibly harsh, unnecessary, and completely lacking in empathy. When you are working with children and families, especially those dealing with disabilities, there should be more patience, grace, and professionalism. Emergencies happen. Life happens. The way this situation was handled was cold, insensitive, and honestly disturbing. The owner/manager was extremely unsympathetic, and based on my experience, I would not trust this place with vulnerable children who need care, support, and understanding. I am truly disgusted and deeply disappointed. Families deserve better. read more

Hi, This is a review specifically for the speech pathologist Robin. I have a 4 year son with autism & we went for his speech assessment. Robin was the one assessing him. She was kind & patient. She was very knowledgeable & was giving me all kinds of tips & advice to help my son. She was also very encouraging & positive. We are new to RAPHA because we have been on a waitlist. I been bring my 2 kids to Rapha Therapy for now 10 months. All the staff has been genuinely supportive and so understanding towards my kids needs and wants. The quality of care that both Jocelyn and Jennilee have given my kids is simply amazing. They make it work when my kids get difficult to participate. Because of their unpredictable behaviors and meltdown it's very difficult to get them to do anything. But because Jennilee has such a great relationship with both my kids. Jocelyn has help me with letters that I've need for my kids case workers and schools. I highly recommend them to any kids that need physical therapy. read more

I never really do review but u have to. I have been trying to get my son to be evaluated, I called and spoke to an ashley she gave me her attitude saying well we don't have the refferal all rude in a tone she said well "call back in 2 days all rude" So 2 days go by I called early in the morning she happened to answer again and same attitude. I asked if any updates on the referral and again same thing not yet call back I had already called the insurance and the insurance told me they had fixed it already and was good to go. I think she didn't want to check or was to lazy to do it. At this point I give up with that company and her. I will be going somewhere else and filing a grievance with my insurance. read more

I really loved this place my son has had a total of two student pathologist which I think did an amazing job with my son. The both ladies had lots of patience and gave me so many tips to work with my little at home. Now I will say they have such a strict policy on how many times a patient can miss. A total of three times then you are dropped from the schedule. I called and spoke to Ashely which was kind and professional. And she informed me of the rules unfortunately I decided to drop from their services because we are going on a two week summer vacation, And declined to do the sessions over zoom. I let her know this wasn't possible for us. We had one prior absence due to illness. I was very disappointed because about two weeks before this I showed up to a session and wasn't informed the speech therapist wasn't in until about 15-20 minutes after I had been waiting in the lobby. I would think they would have some leniency or a little more understanding towards patients. It's summer, folks go out on vacations :( Sadly we won't be coming back here. read more

Ok. So the star are NOT for the therapist but for the clinic. The play area where the kids play, Im right now sitting in that area with my son, all their toys that require batteries are out of them. There is a 2 step stool that is SO dirty. When I look to my right and left, I see the full length windows so dirty and the windowsill which is inside the room is covered with a thick layer of dust. The carpet where the toys and the kids play is stained and super dirty. It smells dirty and stale. Those pictures are from today! I have been there several times and every single time it is very dirty. That area where kids play, needs a good scrubbing. Please get your place cleaned up for the safety of the children you treat. read more

Love Rapha Therapy! Just had our first consultation for our son, who received poor treatment at a different facility. Such a welcoming environment, and our therapist Joscelyn was so kind and attentive. We only later found out she's actually the owner! As a preschool teacher, I'm very aware of children and their most basic needs. To be treated with respect and gentleness, etc. Not only did Joscelyn meet this expectation (and exceed it), it was hard to not overhear her staff as well, being just as nurturing and kind. While the occupational therapist and the front desk was very kind, the speech therapist was incredibly disrespectful and rude. I took my 2 year old, blind child to this facility to seek speech therapy and was met with such an unwelcoming attitude. She brushed my daughter away and stated that she "had never seen a blind kid" before. The way she said this and the way she treated my daughter throughout our very very short visit was dismissive and had an almost mocking tone. The facility also told me that they would contact me about setting up another appointment with my daughter, it's been months and I still haven't heard from them. So basically, if you want your child to be seen with kindness, care and compassion, this is NOT the place to go read more

I have been taking my son 3years old for a few months and miss Denise has changed our lives he is thriving in speech and trusts her whole heartedly We've also had sessions with Ms Taylor and Mr Eric and they were equally as amazing I live 45 min away and drive every week because this center is the best and I love the vibes Even the front office girls are always o welcoming and sweet thank you Rapha physical therapy staff for such wonderful service read more

Every single therapist has been beautiful. Miss Marisa, miss heather and miss Mia cheers to you. Good luck if you can get past the rudest front desk. My wife and I both worked in customer service each over ten years. my wife and I separately (and on multiple occasion) can hear the receptionist talk bad about us and other parents. Just yesterday I was taking my son to therapy and the front receptionist hung up on someone then proceeded to talk bad about them to her fellow colleague. I cannot even share my horror story way too long and most important thing is my son. My son is autistic and it's hard enough. Rapha is great for therapy but dont expect much out of the front desk. No personality, management let's them continually talk down to us b of their high volume and waitlist we really don't matte. well that's the way my wife and I both feel. I brought an issue up with management and nothing got done, the front folks actually are meaner to us since we made a complain. I hope the o knows what is going on. read more

Front desk is so rude. I was asking for help and not your attitude. My shoulder hurts so bad and instead of being empathetic, she was rude, didn't listen and kept me on hold FOREVER! No joke. I'm pretty chill but this made me angry. Never returning. What a joke! read more

First off I want to start off by saying I've read some of the reviews and some of them sound ridiculous. Especially the one where some one is threatening child abuse. When you go the teacher literally asks you if you're comfortable with your child going alone or if you'd like to come & not only that but there's cameras in the rooms and the doors don't have any locks. Don't let some of these reviews fool you! Go in yourself and check it out. Even the staff has been very nice and always answers my questions. Anyways aside from that, I'm glad I found Rapha physical therapy because I had a bad experience with his old speech therapist in which my son hated too and wasn't showing any progress. We'd like to thank Olivia for being very kind, attentive and passionate about her job. She has helped our son progress a lot in the little time that he's been there. We've noticed many changes especially in his speech. Our son looks forward to going to his class every week to learn with Olivia. We're excited to see his progress unfold and the new things that he learns with Olivia. read more

I have been bringing my son here for about 8 months now and I'm so happy with the improvements I've seen in my son with his speech, Lawrence has been his speech therapist he is so nice and patient with my son :) Noah looks forward to every Wednesday to come visit Mr.Lawrence. Since my first visit/therapy session at this facility, I've felt comfortable and have significantly felt improvement. 1st: They're more personable then your typical "medical practitioner to patient" attitude/approach. They're more of a caring friend, with medical knowledge in their tending field, to help you! Something that just melts me during my visits is seeing how patient and caring they are towards their young patients. It's actually quite heartwarming. Next: I just finished my third session and feel the best I've been within the last 1-1 1/2 years. Those with back pain know how horrible that is. They know what they're doing. If you're impatient as I am, just trust them and you'll feel a difference within time. Lastly: I see how committed and serious they are about their facility. Much so that they are starting to renovate the office, waiting area and patient therapy section. Looking forward to seeing what the renovations will bring. Highly recommend! All of the teachers here are so patient and amazing from my experience. The owner does an amazing job of creating such a wonderful team and environment. We have other schools closer by to our home but I am willing to do the drive because it's so hard to find good teachers. And Luis and Lilly have also always been so kind and helpful, going above and beyond to help me all of the time. I'm very thankful to have found this place. read more

I was extremely pleased with the service provided by Rapha staff. I was referred by Kaiser and was provided speech therapy for my 2 1/2 yr old daughter. Her speech therapist (Lorenz) was professional, my daughter looked forward to meeting with him weekly. My daughter improved her speech within two months of weekly sessions. The front staff was always polite, helpful, and professional. The speech therapist created goals for my daughter and would model how to implement what he used during session at home. I was pleased and would recommend Rapha for speech therapy. read more

Actually no it was never my "insurance the problem actually my insurance was telling me your company had not sent the report in 6 months..your BS you guys are lazy and don't follow up. How come my insurance was able to send me somewhere else ASAP??? With in 2 days of telling them to switch me?? You got it all wrong ofcourse you want to blame the insurance. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY My 2 year old son attended speech at Raphas. I was surprised at the amount of times they cancelled session without the opportunity of making them up. Also when it was time to evaluate they promised an increase which we never got. These are just a few of the reasons I would not recommend this place. Not to mention the very rude owner. read more

I enjoy going to my OT every monday with Mr. JD. He always challenges me to do my best. I recommend Mr.JD as for OT.

This was my closest option I had that my insurance covered. Our therapist is amazing!!!!!! But the ladies at the front office are not professional at all. The office is so so dirty, I never want my kids to ever sit on that disgusting rug. I have to wait in the waiting room with my younger child for an hr in filth. The windows are full of dirt and bugs from spider webs. NOT EXECPTABLE!!!! I wish they would take the time to really clean this place. Very young children are in and out of here. This place is fantastic! Everyone, including the hands-on owner, is welcoming and caring. The office is run smoothly and the atmosphere is peaceful. This is extremely helpful for our son, who has high functioning autism. It typically takes time for him to get used to new people and places, but he was comfortable at Rapha from day one. The therapists are patient, calm, and effective. Our occupational therapist is great at getting the most out of our son even when he doesn't really want to do the work. Though our son is her patient, our OT really takes amazing care of our whole family. She always asks how things are going with him in general and has given us many tools and techniques we can use to make our lives go more smoothly. Her knowledge extends far beyond what I expected from an occupational therapist. We are grateful for that and for her willingness to share it. I can't imagine a better organization. First of all, the owner of the company is an excellent therapist. She is talented, knowledgable, persistent, patient and professional. My daughter loves her. Second, I have never met a more caring healthcare professional. She has a positive outlook and will advocate for your child to receive the best treatment possible. It is clear that she is passionate about her field and treating her patients. The office staff is very friendly and on top of everything. It is a great family environment, so your other children can be involved with your child's treatment. My youngest daughter enjoys going to her sister's therapy sessions as well! About 2 years ago I had a very unpleasant experience with Rapha Physical Theraphy. My son was receiving speech therapy and on one of those days, he did not want to participate (he was 4 years old and is in the spectrum). All of the sudden, I hear the therapist scream at him, took him to a different room and locked him because he was throwing a tantrum. During that time, he was going through a big transition and was having a hard time adjusting. Plus that was the first time working with that therapist. I of coursed got really upset, asked them to unlock the door and comforted him. This has been bugging me all these years. Please, please, please, if you take your child to this place, make sure you don't wait outside like many parents do. Ask to seat inside where you can hear if your child starts to cry. I was told by the manager that they do that all the time when a kid is crying or throwing a tantrum. My son was not the only one being treated like that. I warned some parents about it. Please be AWARE!!! read more
