One of my kids has autism and apraxia and the owner Amanda has provided endless support to help him continue to make progress. She was able to identify that one of my kids has low muscle tone, I didn't even realize that he couldn't even move his tongue or his mouth. Oral motor exercises has helped help gain control and movement of his mouth. That's just 1 area of the many ways they have helped my son. Advantes Speech Clinic has been a blessing to our family. (And Spanish too, by the way) Later on I started to receive my EOB and it was showing that I overpay each session. I spoke to them about it and instead of refund they told me my sons score too high to be covered by insurance. They stopped submitting claims and try to cancel previous ones. If you look for a speech therapy please avoid that place!

We paid for this service out of pocket, with no insurance assistance. The intake was thorough and the office staff was clear about pricing/appointments etc. Victoria was kind, patient, and thorough in her treatment. The office space was always clean and orderly and we appreciated the weekly exercises. We were able to gauge progress based on the consistent exercises. Victoria was organized and timely during each visit. After treatment I could see a difference in my daughter's smile, swallow, and tongue strength. Would recommended this office for treatment.

After he got evaluated, the score was little below where he is still recommended to attend speech therapy for 6 months. We were able to get this location with great reviews. I was nervous since never been here and not sure what to expect. They were able to answer any questions we had such as how long is the session, can we sit in every session, how would I able to access the invoices to get refunded through HSA, and etc. Our son was assigned with Ms. Katlyn. Thankfully, he was comfortable around her and was easy to engage with her since I was worried how he would be due to not enough play dates. Ms. Katelyn is very helpful and able to answer any questions we may have. Also, she continue to guide us on what to model with him for each week. I'm glad they let me take pictures or videos of him during the session cause it allows me to see what improvements or what they do to help me remember what I need to do at home as well as share it with my husband since he has to work. It makes me feel comfortable knowing they allow that because if you don't it makes me think what are you trying to hide and who knows what you are doing IF I can't be in that session. My child's safety is a priority. Thankfully, I am or a relative able and will be in every session. There was a day that we were late by like 5 mins and I called the office to let them know, but they were understanding and even told me I had 15 mins to get here even if it's after the start time. I didn't want to miss the session because there could be a penalty fee or if you have too many miss session then they would have to cancel the whole therapy session and refer me back to my doctor. After being here for 4 months so far, we are seeing a drastic improvement with him. He is saying more words and doing well with his one step direction. I'm glad this was able to help him. The staff here are friendly and helpful on our every visit. There are plenty of parking spaces. I highly recommend this place.

My daughter Dawn attended Jump & Schout for a little over 4 years. She had Speech, Occupational,…read moreand Physical Therapy services authorized through EasterSeals via Kaiser. All of which were services at J&S at one point. Nicole was Dawn's first physical therapist here, and did great with Dawn/ helped her achieve important benchmarks she needed at the time. She was patient and thorough with her structure with her and this helped her reach her goals quickly. Speech, well, initially my experience with Alicia (2019) and Speech Supervisor, Katie, was really great. Alicia had creative and productive ways of keeping Dawn's attention and interest and knew how to work with behaviors that arose (my daughter is on the autism spectrum, ADHD, and SPD) Katie worked closely with me on goals I wanted for my daughter and listened to the reasons why, she allowed me to be a part of what was being addressed. However, shortly after Alicia, and Katie left... my daughter's speech therapies at J&S started becoming frustrating, disappointing, and felt there was no direct communication with me in regards to reports sent to ES / Kaiser for authorization, let alone that behaviors were a concern they would bring up to ES and therefore Kaiser, so my daughter's services became compromised. I was not happy about this, especially because I am very involved in her development. I also did not like the speech methods they used, that weren't adaptable to Dawn's interest. Eventually I had to advocate to sustain my daughter's speech services through easterseals, and decided I would search for a facility that would allow me to be involved in her sessions, goals, assessments and would listen to my input. It turns out, she had Hyperlexia and was a Gestalt Language Learner-- she blossomed in her speech at another facility. But we had to leave J&S. Occupational therapy was the best of our experience here though. Angela has always been a fantastic occupational therapist. Very much 'for the child' type of therapist, she's dedicated to learning about the child and how to work with them, patient, great attitude, light hearted and just all around focused on the child's best interest. My daughter showed significant progress in fine motor skills, self help/ adaptive skills, and regulation. Angela was great about stricture with her too! Jarae was another therapist that did fantastic with Dawn, and cared to hear about my input on where Dawn was in her self help- adaptive skills, she created goals that were not only appropriate for Dawn but considerate of my information to her. Stacey and the last receptionist / admin at J&S were also great. Very personable , friendly, and make you feel like family. Overall-- I'd recommend giving J&S a try if you can get in. The environment is very family friendly

I can't say enough amazing things about their therapist and how much they've helped my kids. It's a very well ran establishment with great therapist who truly want to make a difference in the lives of kids they work with. I recommend them to anybody I know who needs therapy for their children.
