My child was referred to OT by her pediatrician as we have a multitude of issues we are looking to address. I received my referral and called Milestones to make an appointment. I was immediately met with a rude attitude from the person who answered the phone. I said my daughter had a referral and I needed to make an appointment. She asked for what. I said an OT evaluation, she said yes, for what? I gave a brief explanation of my child's issues and was immediately told my child could not be seen at Milestones, they did not need OT, they needed ABA instead. I'm sorry, but since when is a front office worker qualified enough to diagnose my child over the phone after an extremely brief explanation of her issues? Maybe the person on the phone was an OT, but this was not communicated nor was their response kind. I was dumbfounded. Having a child who is experiencing issues and needs specialized care is overwhelming in itself. I hung up and cried. I then called my pediatrician's office to relay this conversation and they were appalled. They told me to call the Chino location instead, but I was so taken a back by my start with Milestones that I asked for a referral to a different clinic all together. It seems from reviews that front office staff being rude isn't uncommon. I'm glad we took my daughter elsewhere.

We paid for this service out of pocket, with no insurance assistance. The intake was thorough and the office staff was clear about pricing/appointments etc. Victoria was kind, patient, and thorough in her treatment. The office space was always clean and orderly and we appreciated the weekly exercises. We were able to gauge progress based on the consistent exercises. Victoria was organized and timely during each visit. After treatment I could see a difference in my daughter's smile, swallow, and tongue strength. Would recommended this office for treatment.

Ruaa is incredibly sweet, patient, and intuitive. Our son takes a long time to warm up to people, but she never rushed him or pushed past his comfort level. Because of that, he has built a beautiful connection with her. He now grabs her hand to help him open cabinets, and feels safe enough to make strong eye contact with her while she's working with him on identifying toys and engaging in play. Those moments may seem small to some, but for us they are huge milestones and they speak volumes about Ruaa's ability to truly connect with children where they are. She meets our son with so much compassion and respect, and it shows in the progress he's making. If you're looking for a speech therapist who is not only skilled but genuinely cares, Ruaa is someone I cannot recommend enough.

Angie, the scheduler, has scheduled my child's appointment not once, not twice, but three separate times, and each time the appointment has been pushed further out. As a parent seeking services for my child, it is incredibly discouraging to continually be delayed without any reasonable explanation. When I called to ask why my child was not receiving fair treatment and why the appointment kept being rescheduled, Angie became unprofessional and ultimately hung up on me. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was left feeling dismissed and unheard. Based on my experience, I would never recommend this clinic to other families seeking services for their children. There appears to be a pattern of poor communication, repeated scheduling issues, and a lack of accountability when concerns are raised. I would strongly encourage referring providers to consider other options for their patients until these issues are addressed. Families seeking timely care for their children deserve better communication, professionalism, and respect than what I experienced here. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and implements changes to improve how families are treated moving forward.
