a few days ago while waiting for food at this establishment, the older man working the counter wearing glasses had his mask on his chin...and literally 6-8 times i saw him lick his fingers to help him open the paper and plastic bags they use to put food in. and he touched the pen on the counter people were using to sign credit card receipts. now, i'm sure he didn't even realize he was doing this but if he had his MASK OVER HIS MOUTH instead of on his chin, he wouldn't be able to constantly lick his fingers and touch everything. it was very disconcerting. please tell your staff to properly wear their masks!! seriously. i don't think i'll be back anytime soon. read more

Food is average at best. Not the greatest, not the worst. What I HATE about this place is the service charge for credit card payments. No where is this posted that there is a service charge. At the cashier, they will tell you one total and charge you a higher total. I've been here twice to pick up food now and both times charged this stupid service charge without any notice. read more

The good: the free chips and salsa are some of the best I've had. The salsa has the perfect amount of spice and flavor and is tomatoey without having a watery consistency and the chips are super yummy. The quesadillas are amazing and my hubs and I both decided that is what we would get next time. Easy to get in and get out The not so good: The burritos have next to no flavor and are watery, loosely packed therefore totally fell apart on me. They are stingy with the chips and salsa. Why? This spot was just Ok. I've ordered from here a couple times before and those experiences were acceptable but not enough to warrant another full star. I ordered through grub hub a low carb burrito and requested to be made like naked burrito (in a bowl) the burrito came as requested, flavors were ok. Not terrible but not great. I also ordered jalapeño poppers and clearly they must not make em often because I was missing my sour cream and when I went back they tell me it doesn't come with it. The menu clearly says it does. Got my sour cream but turns out the poppers really just has a bunch of cream cheese stuffed in it. Portion is also very smalll for it being almost the price of my burrito. Senors is the place to go for quick and delicious Mexican food in the area. I try many of the items off the menu. They have a typical Mexican restaurant menu, with tacos, burritos, enchiladas, etc. I like to get the enchilada dinner which comes with three enchiladas (beef, chicken, cheese) Mexican rice, lettuce, and sour cream. The enchiladas are very good, I have had better though. If you eat there you also get complimentary chips and salsa which are delicious! Called ahead for 3 chicken tacos, cilantro and onion. Guy says 5-10 minutes. I get there 10 minutes later and they hadn't made it yet, despite only about 5 people inside. No biggie. I'll watch some NBA talk while I wait. Paid the surprising $7.50ish and went to chow. Sure enough, 3 chicken tacos with lettuce, tomato, and cheese, and two very bland salsas. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Here's a thought: if you operate a Mexican restaurant, make the tacos Mexican-style, and only drop a salad on top if the customer asks for it. Bam! If you're just hungry, do as I will certainly do and stick with the taco special at Los Laureles. Huge, hot grilled tacos and a cola for a full buck less than this suburban shack. When the cashier which I'm sure is the owner gives you an attitude as he's taking your order, WALK AWAY. First time here this place is so disgusting. The steak and al pastor tacos had a funny flavor and so fatty ! It was so gross. I still have the taste in my mouth! My daughters and I took a couple bites and couldn't finish it! If I could give this place less I would. The beans were cold and the rice was under cooked, mind you they were microwaved. I could tell because of the cheese on the plate that was over microwaved. The meat in the tacos was horrible, the asada and lengua tacos only had the taste of meat that could probably be deemed inedible. Even something as simple as the tortillas which seemed like they were pulled out of a package and put on the stove top for maybe 2 whole seconds where horrible. I have driven by this place several times. Each time I say to myself, SELF!! You really should try that place. Well the time came and I could just about kick my SELF for yelling at me. I was looking forward to the Fish tacos. We ordered some of the fresh guacamole and chips also. Feeling good about what we ordered we grabbed our order and headed to the house. The disappointment came in shortly there after. The size of the tacos were laughable. (Do they make taco sliders?) After seeing the other items, I was scared to see the fish tacos that I was so looking forward too. To my dismay, the enviable was present. Immediately the 1984 catchphrase from Clara Peller came to mind. " WHERE's THE BEEF?!?!" Then it hit me , there is no beef in a fish taco. I have not been to this place in about 6 years, even though I lived right down the street. I got a coupon in the mail and thought what the heck, lets try it again. Well let me tell you, this place is awesome. Cheap food, great meat and produce. You can taste the freshness in the meat on the steak burrito as it dissolves in your mouth. The marinades they use give everything a great flavor, that will have my fiance and I definitely coming back for more. I don't go here as much as I did in HS but I would always get a chicken burrito and it never fails, you get complementary chips and salsa if you dine in, the chips are deep fried so they're nice and crispy they are pretty addicting! I was not happy with my experience here. A friend recommended this place, but I was not impressed. It was empty when I went there and the staff seemed annoyed to have a customer in the store. I would be willing to forgive poor service if the food was outstanding, but when I got home, I bit into a chunk of chicken bone in my taco, which I think was dark meat. We love Señor Tacos! Definitely the place to go for some quick, great Mexican food. I love their tacos Mexican style with the onions, cilantro and lime. I've had the steak, chicken, and ground beef and have a hard time deciding which one is better. My boyfriend loves the torta sandwich, with breaded steak. When you eat inside, they give you chips and salsa at your table. The tortilla chips are unreal, very crunchy and not overly seasoned like some places. The salsa is pretty good as well. Very dishonest. Committed fraud as far as I'm concerned. I didn't put a tip when I signed the receipt for the food order. I put a cash tip in their jar instead. The cashier or whomever cashed out at night wrote a tip in themselves and thought I wouldn't notice it on my bank statement. Well I did and my bank took care of it, but I'll never eat there again. As a Cali native the thing I miss most is the great Mexican food, Senior Taco is the closest I have had out here. Like another reviewer said I wish they would make Super Nachos like I could get in California but other things are better at Senior Taco. Do yourself a favor and order the steak sopes, they are out of this world. Also, ask for the extra hot salsa, it is hot but also smokey and delicious! This is authentic food so you have to get used to dark meat chicken and other odd ingredients because you are eating the real deal. Far superior to those anglicised places around town. read more

Tried the steak burrito for lunch today. Only cheese, onions, and cilantro were added. Unfortunately the meat used in the burrito was very bland and lacked even basic seasoning. Both green and red salsa were brought to my table. The green salsa was probably the least hot of any I've ever had. The red was ok. Overall a very disappointing meal. Senor tacos has the best tacos on the planet. Or at least in this area. closest thing I've found to authentic Mexican tacos in a long, long time. My work and I order over the phone, and it turns out to be tons of food, and specific confusing orders for us. the staff has never ONCE gotten it wrong. The food is quality and hot, and very fast.
