Great food. Great service. Definitely recommend this place. We will be returning the next time we're in Rolling Meadows

Hubby & I tried Los 2 Pollos while visiting the Chicago area. We dined in and the service was friendly. The chicken taco was delicious. We also ordered a couple quesadillas with carne asada and chorizo. The tortillas are made in house. The quesadillas were more like tacos but tasty. Everything was so good we didn't even notice we didn't order a side of sour cream. I highly recommend the horchata as well. If I lived here, I'd be a regular. read more

They don't have any public washroom to wash your hands before you eat here. Atleast thats what they told me. So I left. Very disappointing. After that, I would not eat here if it were my last meal before death. read more

I ordered a burrito, I asked for chicken & beans. My burrito that took 45 minutes to make had unseasoned chicken, no beans, runny tomatoes, ice berg lettuce and no flavor. I also ordered 3 tacos, the were about $5.00 each and very tiny with little filling. Everything was leaking juice and really gross & messy. Prices were insane, beyond greedy, & unreasonable. Service was ok. I hope to never eat here again. Terrible experience, terrible value, terrible quality. So three tiny tacos & 1 burrito was about $30.00. read more

Excellent! I ordered huevos con chorizo. The portion is generous and fairly priced. Their salsas are fantastic. Rice and beans are very flavorful. I will definitely be back. read more

We ate here a few years ago when it was Los 2 Amigos, it is now Los Das Pollos. We were planning on ordering and taking out, but we decided to eat in. We were greeted immediately and offered a table, which is what changed our mind. A basket of complimentary chips and salsa were offered, and they were good, but not outstanding. My husband had the carne -skirt steak tacos. Each had a good amount of steak and were topped with onions, cilantro and cheese. I decided to try something different and noticed the other customers were all eating the chicken ,so I tried the pollo asada. It was half of a grilled chicken , served with rice, beans, corn tortillas and lots of french fries. I was not expecting the fries, but they were very good. The chicken was very flavorful, juicy and enough for a second meal. Their selection of non-alcoholic drinks was limited and on a cold, winter day the the restaurant was a bit cold. Even the food was good, nothing in particular stood out from other Mexican restaurants we have been to. read more

La comida es algo cara. Te cobran por pagar con tarjeta de crédito el 4% de tu cuenta.

I've been here a couple times now and it's a great place for affordable authentic Mexican cuisine. It's clean, modern, nicely decorated, and quality of food make it 4 stars. If you dine in you receive a basket of complimentary chips and salsa. They also have daily specials listed on the white board next to the kitchen window. We had the three tacos special with can of soda (choice of chicken, pork, chorizo, or steak) great price and delicious for $6.50, al pastor burrito (had lettuce, beans, tomato and cheese), it was ok, and chicken flautas with rice and beans (loved it) . Ask for additional items on your dish if you wish I'm sure they can accommodate. Good service and they also have take out. read more

Beware that they don't overcharge you!! I ordered 4 burritos clearly marked as 8.99 on the menu. She charged me 9.99 each. I politely pointed this out. Rather than fix her mistake and refund my $4.00 the cashier said "he changed the prices but not on the menu." Rather than argue I simply tipped $4.00 less. Skip this place. There are plenty of Mexican restaurants nearby that conduct themselves ethically. read more

I got tacos, and they were pretty good. No pico, and they need to add more food on the menu.

We were staying around the area for a few days while on vacation. So you know if you ever been to another state you want to try non chain restaurants but are always with that "what if it's not going to be good" and that was our first thought. After yelping a few places we came across this and when we stopped by only 2 people were inside so we thought this place wasn't going to be good. However, we were proven wrong. The food had lots of flavor! Just the right size and the customer service was great! If you are looking for a quick bite with a clean environment and friendly people I would recommend this place! Too bad I'm over 1k miles away. read more

I haven't had Mexican food as good as there's in a long time. I drove out to celebrate my fiancé's birthday as well as our anniversary. We got the tacos, burrito and sopes. Flavor is AMAZING! I had a slight cold that took my taste buds away but I tasted everything! The service was great too. The waiter brought us samples of there homemade drinks and was always checking on us but not overly. She even ended the night with a cake to celebrate with us. I would definitely return back to this little place. read more

So Tueday we order steak tacos. I couldn't have been more disappointed. The tacos had no flavor. I mean just horrible. The green sauce was also so bland. I wanted to give them one more chance so today we ordered 1 beef soup and 1 hominy pork stew. Again what a disappointment. The pork stew no flavor, so much fat on the pork! The beef soup also horrible, was gritty in taste, no potatoes, no carrots (normally are in mexican beef soup). Are they even Mexican? The only thing I can say is that they have nice menus and the guy on the phone is pleasant. Other than that stay away! read more

Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had! The beef is very well done and it just tastes so good. Overall high quality food and high quality service. Will be coming back for sure! Thank you! read more

I just left this spot that I thought was Los Dos Amigos (new name is Los Dos Pollos) and to my disappointment they've changed owners, the menu, name, cooks, and flavor. This was honestly my favorite Mexican spot in the area when it was called Los Dos Amigos. I would ALWAYS get the shrimp taco dinner that was bursting with flavor. Honestly I loved everything about this place when the previous owners had it now it's just a disappointment. We had the chips and salsa which were ok but nothing like they were. Before the chips were homemade and the salsa was like no other. Now the chips taste store bought and the salsa is nothing to brag about. Along with the chips and salsa, I had the chicken taco dinner, again not impressed! Listen, if you've been there when it was Los Dos Amigos you're going to be highly disappointed with this change. I'm comparison to Amigos this is subpar but if you stop here not having the Amigos experience then it's decent. In my case, we will not be back. RIP Los Dos Amigos you're extremely missed. read more

GREAT Mexican- very authentic. I had hoped to order from Sabroso, but they were closed so I took a chance on this place, and I'm glad I did. Everything was fresh and flavorful, portions are reasonable for the price and the sauces they provide on the side were awesome (and spicy AF)! My only critique is that I ordered flour tortillas instead of corn and I ended up with (you guessed it) corn tortillas. Big deal? Nah. I just hate corn tortillas, lol. Delivery was quick, ordering online was easy and the food is great- wtf else do you need to know? read more

Spectacular food. After ten weeks abroad, my daughter requested Mexican food for her first meal back in the States. We clearly picked the correct place. Our family ordered Bistec a la Mexicana, Carne Asada, fajitas, and a burrito. Each meal was fabulous. The meals didn't arrive super quickly from the kitchen, but the wait was adequate and the service was very friendly. My water glass stayed filled (never an easy task). We could see into the kitchen, and it was super clean, as were the bathrooms. We will absolutely return in the future. This was our favorite kind of place: simply excellent food with good service and friendly staff who give good attention to the details. Others can keep their trendy frou-frou places. This type of restaurant is where it is at. read more

Took my son here for lunch. Although our waitress seemed a bit panicked or new this place was great! It was very clean including the bathroom, yes that's important to me! The gentleman at the front was very kind and promptly seated us. It's a little on the small side but you know what they say, good things come in small packages. My son and I both ordered my favorite, a Chicken Flautas Dinner. The food came really quick. It was fresh and hot. My flautas were crunchy with moist tender chicken filling that was perfectly seasoned. My dinner came with a side of mexican rice and beans also perfectly seasoned not too salty and not bland. The sauce our server brought was a light green sauce and a creamy one, they were super delicious with perfect balance of heat and flavor!! My son had the Horchatta, which was disappointing because I don't think it was homemade but a powder mix. Also ordered a steak burito dinner for the hubs to go. I'm not a fan of steak, but this steak was so good. It tasted like it was fire grilled and the burito was pretty big and nicely stuffed. Unfortunately I didn't take a pic. Next time. All in all I highly recommend this place, the food was delicious and they are quick, I couldn't sop eating and I was about to bust...oink oink! read more

Great service, very friendly. Explained how the food was prepared. Also, very decent pricing and portions! Ordered the three taco dinner with chicken and the handmade steak quesadilla (there are two types, than handmade and the appetizer). Everything was very good! Order was take out and everything was nice and warm/fresh. The green and red sauces that came on the side were spicy and yummy! Porn over your tacos and enjoy. I'll be sure to come again read more

This place is amazing. The carnitias taco melted in my mouth. I also had the sopa with pastor. Amazing. The green and red sauce are both really creamy. Usually they're watery, but not here. I wanted to put my straw in the bottle and drink it. The place is really clean and the staff is really nice. They have specials almost every night of the week. This is my go to taco place! read more

I had a quesadilla with carne asada. The meat was way too fatty and grisly....basically un-edible. Very disappointing.

Was in the area and starving so I stopped here for some tacos to go. Girl behind counter was pleasant, the restaurant looked very clean and there are many tables to choose from. They have huge tvs that were showing the olympics. I ordered a streak, chicken, and a chorizo taco. I ordered all with cebolla and cilantro. My tacos were good. My horchata was better. Not a bad place to go if you happen to be around. read more

Strip mall heaven. Real Mexican in an unfamiliar place. Very mom and pop, but that's why it's great. Wow!

This was a quick pop in and out the food was mediocre nothing I would return for.. was expecting more flavor and authenticity but hey.....

This place was great! I had the 3 tacos and a pop lunch meal. You get free chips and salsa when you eat in. Their salsa verde is great. The chicken, pastor, and carnitas tacos were so flavorful. Highly recommend and super quick for lunch. I was in and out within a half hour. read more

My first time stumbling upon this place was while it was still being built. I met the owner onsite and had a conversation about what to expect for the finished product. I was excited about what we discussed and came back when they officially opened for business. My office is nearby and Los dos Amigos is now my go-to lunch spot. Located in a shopping center off Algonquin, it's pretty easy to find. Parking isn't an issue at all. Once entering, you're immediately greeted and told to take a seat wherever you please. The inside of the restaurant is small and has an up-to-date atmosphere. Once seated they bring over free chips and salsa. The ingredients they use are always fresh and you can taste it in the salsa. I've tried multiple menu items for lunch but find myself ordering tacos the most. Overall a great value with friendly staff, talented cooks, and a clean atmosphere. Give Los dos Amigos a shot if you're in the area. read more

I initially was happy with this place because it's the closest to the good Mexican food I'm used to from the city. But after having two orders go wrong I can't order there again. Can any Mexican restaurant in the Schaumburg/Palatine/Rolling Meadows area get orders right?! I've had multiple orders wrong in this area. And they are simple orders!! UPDATE: Here's the thing...I tried a handful of other Mexican restaurants in the surrounding area and unfortunately they haven't come close to that authentic Mexican food I missed. Everything has been average. Sooo I had to go back. But just order inside and they'll get it right. I know in today's world of online ordering that's a little annoying but if it's good enough for an impatient person like me to come back, that's saying something. Still can't give the 5 stars until they get online orders right and until they deliver. read more
