From what I remember about our last visit and this one, this was not up to the standard of last time. The tacos were on the small side and the meat was spare. I was surprised to be charged for chips and salsa, which is standard in most Mexican restaurants. Perhaps this was just a bad day?

I placed an online order and happened to catch their Wednesday special: a burrito dinner for $10. Honestly, not a bad deal at all, considering how big the burrito was especially since it also comes with rice and beans. I went with the Asada (steak), and I was impressed with how much meat was packed inside. They were big, well seasoned chunks of steak throughout, so they definitely aren't skimping on the filling. I also ordered a side of guacamole and chips, and wow this is probably the biggest side of guacamole I've ever received! Not complaining at all. The guacamole was chunky, fresh, and flavorful, and I would definitely order it again. Service was pretty quick with my online order, which is always a plus. There are also a few tables in the back if you want us to sit down and eat. Overall, a great little fine that's conveniently close to work, reasonably priced, and generous with a portions. Can't wait to come back and try the tacos.

The restaurant is very spacious, vibrant and has a nice atmosphere. I order two steak tacos and one chicken taco. They're pretty small for the prize, but I didn't realize they came topped with a spoonful of guacamole, which was honestly really good. It also looked like they were making their tortillas in house, which I thought was pretty cool. Overall, I'd say it's a great option for lunch but keep in mind. It can get pretty busy so you may have a bit for a wait.

We ordered breakfast last week- a steak & egg burrito and tamale plate. Burrito was delicious and their salsas are fantastic! Had to go back for tacos tonight w/ cilantro and onion. Steak is by far my favorite- excellent portion, well-seasoned & not dry. My new favorite in the area, I think. Al pastor, carnitas, and chile relleno were also great. So glad I found a new taco spot on the way home from work. I will be back! (No pictures because I devoured the food.)

Enchiladas: good portion, my son tried mole that was spread on top for the first time, he didn't like it, but it doesn't mean it wasn't good, just something new he didn't enjoy. Cactus taco: they made it right. Nice texture with the crispy beets on top. Fish taco: this was ok, it fell apart bc there were so many tomatoes on top the juice softened the corn tortilla. Salad: good but they didn't have many dressing options and the one that came with it didn't have much flavor to add. Overall, cute spot, price is a bit higher here. Despite the restaurant not being busy, it took ~10 minutes just to get a high chair and quite a while to get our order taken. We ordered guacamole immediately, but it didn't arrive until our entrees came out--at which point our kids had lost interest. A margarita was also made incorrectly and the replacement didn't arrive until dinner. The food itself seemed noticeably greasier than usual. The biggest issue was the automatic 20% gratuity for a party of 8, even though only 4 adults were actually ordering. Given the slow service and multiple issues with the order, that left a particularly bad taste. We didn't complain to a manager that night because we had four kids with us and just wanted to get home. Hopefully this was simply an off night, because we've generally had much better experiences here and would like to keep coming back but have noticed a decline in service and food quality over last few years. Plenty of similar Mexican cuisines nearby make this passable.
