The rolled tacos were crunchy, topped with guacamole and cheese, and honestly just solid across the board. Nothing overcomplicated, just done right. Rice and beans were consistent with what you'd expect from similar spots. They didn't stand out, but they didn't need to. They stayed in their lane and delivered. As for the salsas, the Rojo and habanero were easily my favorites. The Diablo had more of a smoky flavor. Not bad, just not my preference compared to the others. Overall, everything was flavorful and dependable. Service: Service stood out right away. Even while helping another customer, the staff made a point to greet me as soon as I walked in. That kind of awareness goes a long way. The person taking orders was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming, not just with me but with everyone. You can tell they care about the experience they're creating. Ambience: This is one of the cleaner restaurants I've been in. It still feels new, and more importantly, it looks like they've made an effort to keep it that way over time. The space is well-lit, with TVs and a bar setup that probably gives it a different vibe at night. During the day, it feels casual and easy, good for a quick sit-down meal. Food took a little time to come out, but nothing unreasonable. Overall: The only reason this isn't a full five stars is price. It's a bit higher than comparable spots. That said, the combo I got still felt close enough to reasonable. This isn't the best Mexican food I've ever had, but that's not really the point. It's consistent, clean, and reliable. This is our first time at this location. Casual counter service with dining in. The staff was friendly and courteous and didn't mind answering all our questions. I ordered the hard taco plate, 1-shredded beef and one shredded chicken. They are generous with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese, these are not skimpy tacos. This plate came with beans and rice. The beans are quite flavorful and rice a bit bland but choose a salsa from their salsa bar and the rice is transformed. Another person in our party ordered the cheese Enchilada with a hard taco and what a tasty enchilada that had yummy gooey cheese. Also ordered was a soft taco plate, I didn't try but they looked so good I will definitely get next time. You are given a choice of flour or corn tortillas and they are loaded. Meanwhile this guy is by the food window bagging food for customers. Then he is hand delivering to them in the restaurant. Next a line forms and he takes orders. 10-15 mins go by and he asked what I ordered. He goes to the bag that had been sitting there since the moment I came in and handed it to me. Sorry for the wait, he said. I asked if I could get a fountain drink for the inconvenience. He told me no! I really wanted to say something good about Senor Taco E. Greenway. It's new and looks nice on the inside, but I didn't try any food because they didn't honor their own discount coupon. It's a real bummer when a business offers a discount coupon to get you in, but then they don't accept it. They assume you'll probably order something anyway since you're already there. My attitude is if you won't I won't so I have no food pictures for you . Every time I walk through the door, I'm greeted by the same girl with a huge smile and a "hello!" that's as warm as freshly melted queso. I really appreciate that! She's super friendly and efficient. The salsa bar is so clean, it's almost un-bean-lievable! After I load up on that green sauce (aka liquid happiness), I know my food will be ready. The food comes out quick! And the food? Cashier grabbed coupon, threw it away and said they weren't honoring it at this location. This location is PRINTED ON THE COUPON, along with GRAND OPENING. The cashier said it's a corporate error. This is the second month of the corporate error? We decided to go ahead with our order without the required beverages ($4.00 each). The cashier told us we "could skip her tip". The food wasn't great. I can't say I've ever had a Chipotle shrimp burrito that was over half mushrooms. My husband had diarrhea all night. Nothing I can say that is good about this place. Today I called and tried to talk to the franchisee but was told they were not in. This is exactly when the cashier had told me they would be available.
