As for the food, some of my favorites are the pozole, Pick Two Tacos, and the Famous Carnitas, which is also one of my husband's favorites. He usually goes for the Burro Combo, Chile Verde, or Famous Carnitas. You really can't go wrong with any of them! This time, I ordered the carnitas, and they were so good. The meat was seasoned perfectly, tender, and had a nice bite to it. The portion is also very generous, especially with the rice and beans. I almost always end up taking leftovers home, which is definitely a plus. The atmosphere is another reason I enjoy coming here. It's casual, comfortable, and relaxing, and they also have outdoor seating if you prefer to sit outside. If you're looking for a family-friendly spot with great food, generous portions, good drinks, and reasonable prices, definitely give this place a try. It continues to be one of my favorites!

I can see why its a favorite for people. The wife got the Baja shrimp. She said it was ok but nothing that stood out. I got the carne asada. This was where it fell short. It was a thin piece of meat and parts were over cooked. It felt like shoe leather. The parts that weren't were good, tender and tasty. But I felt it had a lack of flavor for a carne asada. The rice and refried beans that came with it were great. The ambiance when you walk in was really nice but unfortunately the metal chairs we sat on were not comfortable. Overall it wasn't bad but there wasn't anything that I'd want to go back for.

They were both so fantastic, but my rating for the shrimp tacos were 10/10 while the fiance gave them 9/10? The crispy fish tacos were an 8.5/10 for me, really really great but not the best I ever had, for my fiance they were a 10/10 mind you he hasn't had crispy fish tacos before. We tried the quesadillas and we had half of them as carnitas and half of them as chicken. I usually love carnitas but here at this restaurant the chicken was profoundly better. The chicken was soft and delicious and flavorful. We got it with extra cheese which I highly recommend. 8:10 really good. The guacamole was good but nothing to die for.
