Privious service excellent, but now questionable. Prior service was hvac check, service needed was under warranty, so agreed to service. Representative recommended duct cleaning, I agreed. Later, I cancelled duct cleaning due to cost being a lot more than other providers. A refund was mailed to me and received 4/21/25. Repairs completed. Now, they ran ad for hot water flush, scheduled service. No show for confirmed time. No response to email . Text message claiming I owe a past due. It's July, last service was April. No explanation, no bill, no answer when I called. Still waiting for an explanation. I have the original invoices. I did not make a mathematical error. I will not pay for theirs, since they never attempted to let me know for over three months. Not using this company again. read more

The tech explained everything and made sure I felt comfortable with doing the repair. I was offered an awesome warranty which got me an amazing new thermostat. Never had one like this before. First I wanted to say how professional this company is. During the Holidays they were so booked with their $17.76 special, they asjed if they could reschedule. I didn't hear back from them, and i'm sure I just got lost in the shuffle. When I saw a text promotion go out it reminded me and I gave them a call to reschedule. They ofxourse extended me the special since they were at fault and I had someone out in a week. After receiving a recommendation from my son and a few friends at the VFW, I contacted Semper Fi to get a quote on cleaning my Heat Pump. I was told they do not service units that are less than five years old, I have never heard of this. I assume the reason for this is that it is harder to up-sell homeowners with units less than five years old, I would not recommend this company to fellow veterans or anyone else. read more

I'm puzzled by the bad reviews. I have had nothing but good experiences with Semper Fi. When the rain came a month or so ago, I had water in my hallway by the AC/Heat thermostat. I didn't know whether to contact a roofer or what. Semper Fi came out immediately and found the source of the problem (wiring was exposed and the water followed it down into the house via the thermostat). I was ready to pay for the visit but was told there would be no charge. My latest experience with Semper Fi was having a new AC/Heat unit installed. Alex and Daniel were great--called to let me know they were coming and gave me a timeline for all of the steps involved. Well, it's pretty much what others are saying. My husband is a Vietnam Vet so we wanted to support this company since they say they are veteran owned. We had used them in the past for a general check up for our A/C unit which is 12 yrs old and that went well until last week December 18, 2024. Now, all of a sudden, we need a new unit. AND, not just a replacement for our current one, but they wanted us to pay for an upgrade (larger unit) and a warranty that cost $1,500 On top of the cost of the new unit. The tech for Semper Fi was very pushy and after he left we kept getting multiple daily calls from the company, which we finally answered pressuring us on what we wanted to do. Now we need a second opinion, so called Liberty Plumbing And Heating. They checked our A/C unit and didn't find anything wrong!!! In fact, they said it looks better than most units the age of ours. Now I'm on a mission to warn others about this company and feel they are totally scamming people. The initial install seemed fine, but once the temps rose, we had poor airflow, zone issues, and even no heat at times. Semper Fi responded quickly. Dominic came out and replaced some dampers, but the problems persisted. Then Daniel, the Operations Manager, personally called me over a weekend -- a gesture you don't see often. He sent out Miguel, a seasoned tech, who diagnosed the real issue: my home needed 8.5 tons, but only 5 tons were installed. One unit had already burned out from overworking. Here's where they earned my trust: Instead of excuses, they took full responsibility and replaced both units at no cost, months after the original install. Miguel and his partner worked over 12 hours, way past 9:30 PM to get it right! Miguel is the man! He was the most impactful person I encountered with the company and I had some good people throughout that were trying to resolve the issues. Now? The airflow is 3X better and the comfort level is amazing. Owned by a Marine which is one of the reasons I selected them in the first place, this company truly operates with discipline, honor, and pride in their work. Entered the free a/c contest and to get a couple extra entries I had to have an inspection done aka tune up. The gentleman that did the tune up was professional when it came to showing me all of the specs of my old original unit to the house built in 2004. When it came down to getting a new one I should have waited to get a few more quotes. Come to realize now that I have nearly been over charged 10k and forgot to ask if purchasing this unit took me out of the "free a/c" contest. Live and learn I guess! In my 4+ years as a customer, I have had nothing but positive experiences in my dealings with Semper Fi HVAC. They are a service organization of the highest standard. When my air conditioner died on a sweltering Las Vegas summer day, they immediately dispatched a technician, provided me with three very reasonable pricing options, and by 8 p.m. had a large crane in front of my house hoisting a new air condition unit onto my roof. Since that day, on the few occasions I have needed to call them, their service on a scale of 1 to 10 has been somewhere around a "57." The techs show up when they say they will, on time, and are all very knowledgeable. Carlos Diaz has been here multiple times and is so thorough in the way he explains everything, I felt afterwards like I was an expert in how HVAC systems function. The fact that I give him access to my house without anyone being there speaks volumes to both his professionalism and the trust I have in Semper Fi. read more

We had Semper Fi accomplish an inspection last year and signed with them for a monthly fee which would include annual inspections. More than two months ago I scheduled an appointment for this week. In my line of work I had to take the time off which cost me a lot of money. Imagine my surprise when today (two days prior to the scheduled time), I received a text--not a call, a text--saying that they had to cancel the appointment and to call to reschedule. I called and the next appointment is sometime in May, two months from now. Completely unacceptable. As a retired veteran myself I fell for the veteran angle and expected more from this company. I was wrong but you don't have to be. And don't fall for the monthly fee to be a VIP customer grift. You will be pushed aside as soon as a higher paying job arises. This company the one located on Portobello Avenue is beyond dishonest. I was charged a very large amount of money for items that were done to my AC unit that did not need to be done. It was verified by another cooling and plumbing company. I have been calling Semper Fi to get this resolved for over six weeks and nobody has called me back. No one that can actually help fix the situation. Be very careful with the text and follow them and make sure you get before and after pictures so that you know the work was actually done and then it was necessary. She came out for a routine service call this week and uncovered an issue that needs further investigation so we are waiting on that, however, she didn't try to upsell me on things or services that I don't need and truly made it a service call to make sure our system was running great. Everyone from Semper Fi is great. Unfortunately we had to replace our HVAC. The techs that serviced our old unit were very knowledgeable and thorough. They specked out a new unit and did everything they could do to control the cost as well as offering various financing options. The new unit was delivered and installed two days later as we requested. Installation guys were outstanding! Alano and Brandon did a fantastic job. Unit was up and running before noon. They went over everything that had been done, made sure the new unit was in perfect running condition. They also made sure that everything was cleaned up as well. I have made MULTIPLE calls to them after the install for 1 issue. I keep getting "a supervisor is working on it and will call you back". Service man was polite and personable. He checked out the heat pump in the attic, the furnace on the first floor, and two AC units on the side of the house. He suggested that some preventive maintenance needed to be done on three of the units, leaving his ladder and appropriate tools at each station to make the repairs more easily later. He emphasized repeatedly that he had all of the necessary materials to make the repairs immediately and could be done shortly. When we sat down to go over the estimate for the entire job and I stated that this was the first time I had had someone out to check the units and would get back to him after a second opinion. his demeanor changed immediately and he assumed a very "frosty" disposition. He suddenly got up without a word and proceeded to go around to gather his materials from the three work sites. He DID, however ask me why I felt it necessary to get a second opinion. I repied that it seemed to be "common sense" before spending thousands of dollars and he replied "I understand!" He walked out the front door without a word. If indeed Semper Fi does come in with the best estimate, I will not do business with them because of the rudeness of the technician. read more

We had them come out because our AC started blowing warm air.. they were prompt I will give them that however that's the only positive thing I have to say. They took a look at our AC and immediately just said we need a new one, with no explanation as to why. We had the capacitor replaced so we could have cool air while we get a second opinion as they quoted us $18k for a new unit. Our second opinion company, stated we in fact did not need a new unit and it was running fine, just needed a bit of refrigerant. He also stated that the capacitor semper fi replaced was not installed properly AND LEFT IN THE CARD BOARD BOX TO POTENTIALLY CATCH FIRE. Thankfully they fixed semper fi potentially critical mistake. I would not recommend this place, they do not do a thorough job, they did not assess or lay out any other possible solutions other than replacing the entire unit. I had #SemperFi come to my house for a $49 service on my three-year-old home. Two days after the service I went to turn on my unit, but it didn't work. They said they'd be happy to come back out and look at it and they told me I need to spend $1000 on a new circuit board. Finding this unbelievable I called an acquaintance of mine who owns a HVAC company here in town. He went into the attic and found two wires were unplugged and asked me if I unplugged wires and I said no, but Semperfi was here two days ago. This unscrupulous company and or their employee unplugged wires and try to charge me $1000. Pathetic and dishonest. I called simplify and told them I had to pay $150 service fee to somebody to plug the two wires back in that they unplugged. They said they'd get a check out to me for that service call. No problem OK that was fair enough but when I called today, they said: "No, the manager changed his mind and is not going do that" but they did fire the technician. So not only are unscrupulous they clearly don't stand behind their word to tell the customer they're going to refund money and then not do it. Had a TINY LEAK in my reversing valve on my roof top unit. A tech or should I say an unethical salesperson with zero morals from this company came and told me it would be over $5000 to replace this valve. I located the valve and the cost was $169 for that part. The kicker is that I did not even need to replace the valve. The sleazy sales tech told me I should just get a new unit for $15,000 because the valve replacement was such a high price. I had a different HVAC tech come and re solder the leak on the existing valve and top off my refrigerant for $240 and my unit is working great. Simple, easy job that took a few hours. This company is an ABSOLUTE RIP OFF and I would never hire them for ANYTHING. read more

I had a good experience with this company when they came out to do a check up on my system. They showed up within their window after giving me a 15 minute heads up phone call. My tech was friendly and polite and I felt he spent a good amount of time looking over everything. I get my system checked every year as it's about 7 years old and I want to make sure we're all set before summer kicks into high gear. I had them install a compressor saver after they were able to give me some discounts since I have both military and first responders in my family. I have been enjoying a much quieter system since their visit and will likely have them come out again when I decide to replace my 20 year old water heater. read more

Had fan replaced since Semper Fi installed the unit before purchaseing home . Fan didn't seem to be turning on and no condensation coming out pvc pipe from unit. Called to have replacement fan checked - all of sudden fan turned on - but still no condensation from pipe tried turning unit on and it kept blowing hot air (all in July (called back to have another tech come out - it happens the tech from earlier connected the wrong wires .so no fan , no cold air -almost passed out from the heat in my home Called again to have that looked at / tech said he didn't see a problem and as he was driving off went to see pvc pipe and all of a sudden water coming from pvc Now I have Rotting smell in bathroom and moisture was traced to wall a bit below roof unit - story to be continued read more
