4HIM AC company came to check out my AC unit that has been running non-stop since I had my roof replaced. DANIEL VARGAS came out first and, after an hour and a half of diagnosis, determined my compressor was failing. He was awesome in explaining all the readings and photos and said my unit shouldn't be having any issues since it's only 2 years old. I told him I recently had my roof replaced and the roofers had lifted the unit manually and subsequently dropped it and blew a fuse. He explained that dropping the unit could very well be the cause of the compressor failing. After AUSTIN HUTSON, the owner of 4HIM and another technician, JACOB HELLER, spent 7 hours replacing my compressor, TXV, and the disconnect the AC unit was still running for 13 1/2 hours plus. JACOB immediately came back out and found a duct panel was detached. It helped a little but the AC was not reaching temp by the end of the day and was still running for a solid 13-15 hours. JACOB again came back out the next day and found that, since the AC unit had been moved and set at an angle and not back in its original position, the elbow running from the AC unit to the attic ductwork was bent and not properly resealed by the roofers allowing the exterior air and air from the house to mix preventing the AC from cycling properly. AUSTIN and JACOB were able to finally determine the damages due to the AC unit being manually moved and dropped were so extensive and severe the unit needed to be replaced. We have two A/C units, one of which was virtually inoperable and the other was on the way out. We initially filed a claim through our Home Warranty Company for repairs and after sending out 3 different A/C Companies who didn't really understand how to fix the problems, or even wanted to do the job because of the complexity, we were fortunate enough to get 4HIM Cooling assigned to us. After coming out and diagnosing the problems with our A/C units in a clear and expert manner, which was easy to understand, it was determined the best course of action was to go ahead and replace both of our A/C units. We can't say enough about the technicians who came out during the installation of our units and follow up, and they were very conscientious about making sure we were happy with the results and workmanship. Austin, the owner, and Scuba, his right hand man, were particularly good in helping us through the process. Also, Megan, the lead person involved with the installations, was unbelievable in making sure we were happy with the results and took great pride in doing the job right. She and her partners showed great care in what she was doing and was very respectful to our home and cleaning up after themselves. Another thing that really impressed us is their Christian-based philosophy in being an honest company in everything they do, and gave us the confidence that we were in the right hands. Writing this review for the install that was recently completed. I was referred by a friend to use this company for all my AC needs. Prior to the installation..with the previous AC unit. Had some maintenance completed was made aware of the issues. Scuba explained everything in detail didn't leave anything out i do have to say great thing is what you pay for the maintenance they actually take that and roll it into a new ac if it needs to be replaced. Priced accordingly and showed up within the hour great service! The replacement AC gave me great pricing on a new Lennox unit and they were able to install a new one within 24 hours which is phenomenal. The install was accomplished the team that did my install very knowledgeable and took pride in their work.. Let me start with, I'm not a good reviewer. That being said, my dad's heat went out at 11:30 pm last night. Called 4him and was surprised they had a live person answering. Not only did they answer but Austin showed up by 12:45. I could tell he didn't mind and he was courteous and kind. He even took his shoes off on the tile floor. I have yet to see a contractor in general do what he and his company did. To some it all up. Within 3 hours of the phone call. My dad's heater was up and running. Only paid 900.00 for new motor, labor, capacitor and a 1 Year Plan. I've used Parker and Sons before and they were way more expensive.
