After reading horror stories about purchasing a conex container we contacted Lana at Select Containers. 1) She provided a competitive quote including delivery 2) Sent pictures of two containers for us to choose from 3) The chosen container was delivered to our property within 5 days 4) The delivery driver arrived on time, was professional and knowledgeable, placing the container where we wanted it 5) AND we not required to put up any deposit - Cash On Delivery Outstanding customer service - Highly recommended

Here is quality control at Select Containers

Not much integrity at Select Containers. I have purchased four containers from them, so I felt I was a reasonably good customer. The last container had rust holes through the roof. I sent them pictures of the holes and they fell back on the agreement that says basically (tuff shit) on any problems. They are used containers so I expect some rust, certainly no holes. They said they offer a paint and seal service for an extra fee (expected). That does not help much if the container is already delivered. My problem is why they did not spend the 5 extra minutes to look at the roof and double check the doors. They sell a product and should make an effort to at least disclose the condition in advanced of shipping. Any reputable business would have even some minor level of quality control. In my opinion a good business would come out and fill and patch the hole or at least offer a credit. They would be totally ok selling you a container with doors not closeable holes completely through the steel and feel totally ok because of the "tuff shit" clause in their agreement. Lots of people sell containers, buy from someone else and have them send you a walk around video including the roof and door closure.

**Beware. Do not buy from them!! I placed my order back in February and it's September and still no answer from them. I ordered a 40ft high cube container to be delivered in 2-3 weeks. In April I had to email them to ask what was going on with my delivery. Beckie answered saying that there was a shortage and my original order was not accessible at this time. They wanted me to pay $750 extra for another container or wait until it became available or offer a refund. I understood that because of the shortage they were not able to get the item so I decided to give them time. In July, I got a call and we agreed to a refund of the total amount. It's September and I have no container and no refund. I call and email but they don't respond. I decided to go to their "office" in Hesperia. To my surprise there is no office and no one there. I will now have to sue them in small claims court to get my money back. I will update later on. PLEASE DO NOT support their "business" they are irresponsible and only take advantage of people.

Apparently what happened to me is standard operating procedure with this company. Ruth Zamitz claims to be the manager and has no responsibility for the pricing, however she is a live-in 3rd party owner who would definitely have decision making abilities. When I rented my unit Ruth told me to make sure I didn't give anybody my gate entry code because "other people get in here and steal a lot." I was thrown off, and should have taken it as a harbinger, so I asked if that really happened a lot, she repeated "a lot." (God save anybody that buys life insurance from her!) They run a continuing scam where tenants are enticed to move in with a promotional deal, mine was $32/mo for the first 3 months for a 10'x10' unit, and tell you after the promotion the rent will be whatever the "market rate" is. Ruth will tell you that they won't know what the market rate will be in 3 months. When I rented in July I confirmed with Ruth that the current "market rate" was $34. At the end of my "promotion" the rent went from $34 to $48, without notification, then promptly rose to $133. Apparently the "market rate" almost quadrupled since July. I was surprised when I got a card in the mail earlier this month informing me my total for December is $133, then even more surprising I received an email invoice for $149 for the same period. I emailed Ruth to find out where the discrepancy lies, but no answer... This place is a hustle. If anybody else has the same complaint and wants to file suit feel free to look me up via social media, I would be happy to provide any support/documentation I can.

Let's just say if I could give zero stars I would, Horrible customer service especially the guys…read morethat work the front and Heather in management. The storage I rented and held all my furniture and personal belongings got flooded! Because of the s***y design of this place. I approached the guys in the office, who told me fill out a form and itemize all the damages and management will review it and resolve the situation. Well weeks went buy and come to find out the air heads in the front office never summited my paperwork! This is where Heather comes in,she initially apologized and said she will have it taken care of right away! Well guess who doesn't return phone calls or messages and must have fell off the face of the earth! That's right Heather! People do yourself a favor find another storage company, because this place is a rip off and management and employees are absolutely clueless,I have reached out to an attorney who is now handling it for me.

Why would I carry heavy boxes up stairs if I paid for a unit with an elevator. This is the second unit I tried to rent. The first one was full of water after it rained. Customers- save yourself time and money and rent ANYWHERE BUT HERE!
