The three men were outstanding, very professional, very, very helpful and took all the things I needed moved. They had to take the doors off to get the frenchdoor refrigerator off and then put them back to get it into the house. They were very knowledgeable and friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this company for any move as I moved about 97 miles away and they took care of all my furniture and other items and no damage or scratches were on anything. I am now in another area and cannot use their services; however, if anyone ask me what company they recommend for a in-state move, I will recommend them. We had a lot papers to shred. Our city canceled the last shred day due to Covid. I called around and found Apple Valley Transfer and Storage on Corwin Rd. We took our 2 large, full trash bags out there and the employees were amazing! We were there no more than 20-30 minutes. They came to our car and picked up the bags so they could drive it over to the shredder. The price was very reasonable for us and they do have other options. We highly recommend them!! read more

We contacted Donald at AV Transfer to get a quote. Donald came out, provided a thorough quote based upon the inspection. The movers who came to move us 500 moles away were the nicest group of guys. They loaded up all our belongings including our spa. The same guys delivered 2 days later to our new home. I cannot stress how important it is to have a trustworthy company move you. It was not a good experience with our moving process at all! We had two unprofessional young workers that were moving our furniture and they didn't even know how to move things properly and therefore our furniture was damaged. I needed a copy machined moved from one side of town the the other so we would not have any down time or problems in getting our docs out to our customers. We hired Apple Valley Transfer & Storage/Atlas Van Lines for a move from California to Georgetown Texas this week. My husband has serious back problems and so moving ourselves was not really a great option. Our situation was a little different than some, because we moved everything before we actually left to drive to Texas. Our son was on the receiving end in Texas, and he was very impressed as well! I would highly recommend them to anyone making a long distance move. The process from beginning to end was stress free, and was well worth hiring them for the move. We priced the Pods to move ourselves and an early estimate would have been more than the full service with Atlas. They are very professional, pleasant, thorough, and have the highest level of customer service! They packed us on Monday July 25th and the driver was in Georgetown three days later. The packing staff as well as the driver packed us and loaded us the same day. The packing and loading for a 1848 square foot, three bedroom house and garage was four hours, and man are they fast, and thorough! The original estimate/weight was higher, and once they got the final weight of the loaded truck it was much lower than expected, and lower than moving ourselves with the Pods. And, turns out we probably would have needed two Pods to move. I can't say enough about Donald, and Ashley! Again excellent customer service, and they kept us informed at every stage of the process, and move! Also side note, they also own Shred Your Docs in Apple Valley, Ca. We used them on three occasions to come to our home to shred years of banking records, tax records, old receipts, paperwork,etc. We had been in our home for 36 years, and with working full time, and six days a week for the last eight years we accumulated a lot of paperwork I wasn't able to clear out until a couple of months before our move. So all in all both companies surpassed our expectations and made life a whole lot easier for this move!!! read more

I had already moved all my boxes, etc to new location. What was left was the stuff that was too heavy or too large for my SUV. I had a Saturday move. Departure and arrival. Guys arrived to load with a, I think, 26' truck. Loaded up in less than 2 hours. My stuff filled half the truck. They took off and I closed up the house. Of course I beat them to destination. They arrived and I gave them locations for the stuff. I went off to buy pizza for lunch. They were done when I got back. We ate lunch and they took off. No damage to goods or houses. Move done in 1 day. And I saved myself over $350 by moving my 65" TV myself. read more

In one move, the company's movers went to three different locations, and picked up my furniture and belongings and then delivered them all to my new home. Apple Valley Transfer & Storage, has also moved my business from one place to another. This company is safe, very capable, honest, and informs you of every step of the move, from beginning assessment to the end. The staff of movers were very careful with my furniture and accessories and delivered them and placed them where I requested. There is nothing this team cannot do. They do it all, and in one move, they brought a truck big enough to move my golf cart with my furniture. My last and present move took two days and it went off without a hitch. If needed this company also provides all packing materials so your items remain in one piece. They also pack everything if needed. My mirrors, Televisions, and antiques have always been in one piece and without scratches when they arrived. I would never consider using anyone else for my moving needs, and any person who needs to move anything, should also use Apple Valley Transfer & Storage, because they will be completely happy and satisfied when your items arrive at their new location. We got stuck with them for a military move. The damages are in the thousands. They carelessly packed our valuables, most of which broke, and stole a bunch of jewelry. Almost every single picture frame is broken. They dropped a bed off the truck and it shattered into a bunch of pieces. Twice they threw away things from our garage and I had to remove them from the trash. They said they assumed it was trash because they did not know what they were (parts to an indoor garden). They packed and moved our house in two days. For two days I bought them breakfast and lunch. I provided them with soda, water, etc. They kept a box with their trash in it. Guess what ended up at my new home- their trash! They had packed the wrappers and cans from the food and drinks I bought them and stored them with my house hold goods. Avoid them at all costs. We used Apple Valley Transfer and Storage for a big project; moving part of our household belongings out of state and putting into vaults to store the other part of our household belongs. It was a huge project that required many steps and lots of organizing. Donald was our go to man. He did the original walk thru, gave us our bid then was there for the entire process; dropping in both days to insure all was well. He was very professional and informed. The young men who packed us were all very kind, respectful and competent at their job. Our driver, Dean, delivered our household and moved all the items into the new home without incident. He was obviously experienced and knowledgeable. We had an unexpected delay getting to our new home out of state but Dean and AVTS worked with us and didn't give us any grief or added stress. It's absolutely horrendous. However, we had to use this company for moving as it was our only choice. If you can, do NOT use this company. They either arrived way too early or way too late. Never on time. Also, none of our stuff was in the right boxes. Toys were stuffed in clothes boxes and clothes were shoved in mirror boxes. Every mistake was made by Carl. MILITARY families avoid at all costs!!! They are the worst and extremely incompetent. They could care less about your property. Multiple items were damaged and took over 3 months to get reimbursed and didn't get full replacement value. Only reason I got paid was because 2 other parties got involved. They're greedy and they try to stall for as long as possible. Call your personal property office and tell them you want a different TSP. read more

I had a great experience with Apple Valley Transfer when we moved from Victorville to Ontario in July. The movers were on-time and ready to work carefully, yet quickly. They had a large truck, were very organized and loaded a four bedroom house and garage within 3-4 hours. We did a lot of packing ourselves, but they had the 'heavy lifting' and packed the delicate items, which they did professionally. Once we got to our Ontario location, the movers helped us organize everything and were always double checking to see if we wanted anything set-up or moved to another location. Unloading took at 2-3 hours, and the whole process was a lot less time then we initially thought. This was a great moving experience and I would definitely recommend them. read more

Art gave us our quote and said it would not go higher, but possibly lower. Art came back at our request and again said the quote would not go any higher and again said it could go lower. We also received our final payment balance in the mail. The day before delivery, they called and said they would only deliver if we paid $1800.00 more for additional cost of hours billed. Avoid this company. This is the company I got stuck with during my military move. When they picked up at my original destination everything went fine. It's when they dropped off at my new destination where I had several issues. They broke my door, they rolled a dolly through brand new carpet without laying down a cover, several small items cane up missing, and they didn't take the boxes with them like they're supposed to.
