On Monday, June 8, I used Yelp to contact several local junk removal companies. One of the owners…read morecalled me directly, and during that conversation I was quoted $140 or 145 for the job. I remember that amount clearly because it was lower than another quote I had received, which was between $150 and $200. We agreed on the price and scheduled the pickup for the morning of Thursday, June 11. On the day of the appointment, I received a call letting me know the crew would be running late, which was not a problem. Later, I received another call saying they had arrived, followed by a call regarding the price. This immediately raised concerns because I believed the quote had already been discussed and finalized days earlier. The employee performing the removal told me the price was now $200. I explained that I had been quoted $140 by the owner when we scheduled the appointment. He then contacted the owner for clarification and later called me back, confirming they would do for $145 quote and proceed with the job. I should have written down the price as well, but I *assumed* being schedule in the quote would have been listed and communicated to the other associates. Shortly afterward, I received a call from the owner claiming that we had never discussed a $145 price and that the amount was too low. I found this frustrating, especially considering I had no reason to invent a number that I specifically remembered because it was lower than competing quotes. While the company ultimately agreed to proceed at the quoted amount, the entire situation could have been avoided with proper record-keeping and communication. To put the matter behind me and avoid further back-and-forth, I ultimately paid $185. While the job was completed, the confusion surrounding the pricing left a negative impression and made what should have been a straightforward service unnecessarily stressful.

First off, Anthony and his team were not only quick to empty out my entire house and garage but they were at my house bright and early and ready to get our stuff to our destination as fast as possible! Our appointment was at 6 AM and they were already loading their truck by 5:45 AM, done unloading just before 7AM, and our stuff made it 61 miles down the hill by 8AM! I had my entire garage full so I was worried that everything would fit along with my very large furniture but this team made it happen! My things all arrived to my new house safely, they were unloaded quickly, and placed exactly where I wanted them. Hiring them made the start of our new chapter to seamless and stress free. Cannot recommend them enough. Thank you so much!!

Absolutely Outstanding -- Good Faith Hauling Company, LLC…read more I cannot say enough good things about Anthony and his family at Good Faith Hauling Company, LLC. If I could give them more than five stars, I absolutely would. Anthony arrived at 6:00 a.m., ready to work, along with his family crew . I'll admit, when I first saw that this was truly a family operation, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was moving out of a five-bedroom house, and in my mind I was expecting a crew of several big movers to show up. I could not have been more wrong about what was needed. This family was one of the most efficient, hardworking, organized moving teams I have ever seen. They moved with purpose from the moment they arrived. By around 10 or 11 a.m., my house was loaded, we were on our way to La Mirada, and by approximately 12:30-1:00 p.m. we were at the new house. By around 2-3 p.m., they were DONE unloading. A five-bedroom household moved from one city to another in essentially one day! Instead of still dealing with movers late into the evening, I was sitting in my new home, relaxing and able to start settling in. That alone says everything. The professionalism was just as impressive as the speed. They were careful with my belongings, organized, respectful, and clearly took tremendous pride in their work. And then there was my refrigerator! I have an absolutely HUGE refrigerator that I genuinely thought was not going to fit. I had already started thinking I would have to put it into storage. Anthony took one look at the situation and figured it out. He made sure that refrigerator got where it needed to go without scratches or damage. That was the moment I knew I was dealing with someone who truly knows what he is doing. I have experienced a major professional move before, including an interstate move with a large corporate moving company, and I honestly believed that level of organization and efficiency was something you only received from a big company. Good Faith Hauling Company, LLC proved me completely wrong. Anthony and his family delivered that same caliber of service--if not better--with the care and personal attention that comes from a family-owned business where the owner is right there working alongside his family. This is what supporting a family-owned business should feel like. You can see the pride, work ethic, teamwork, and commitment to the customer in everything they do. If you are looking for a moving company and want what I would call top-of-the-line, Cadillac-level customer service, professionalism, care, and efficiency, choose Good Faith Hauling Company, LLC. I would recommend Anthony and his family ten times over. Anthony, I genuinely wish you and your family continued success and expansion. Other moving companies could learn something from the way you run your business. Exceptional experience from beginning to end. Five stars simply does not feel like enough.
